Simply amazing place for incredible seafood, burgers and ice cream delights. In the shadow of the Lakes Region, perfect spot to grab a bite of traditional American food, high quality, reasonable price and great taste. Get the Seafood platter, it feed 2 or 3 people!

This used to be a good place to eat but apparently not anymore. Portions have shrunk, food is tough, and cold. I called and tried to speak with the manager and she was apparently too busy and nothing could be done to rectify the situation. Food shown was $20. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Prices are ridiculously high for mediocre food. We paid $22 for a Lobster Roll that was the size of a small hotdog buns. I thought for the price we would have gotten a good size sandwich. What a rip off! We will never eat here again.

Great seafood, I had fried clams and they were fabulous. Tried the haddock nuggets and they were awesome. Topped off the meal with sea salt caramel truffle ice cream and it was so good.

First time here. Definitely will be back. Had a quick bite. Fried mushrooms to die for. Crispy outside and flavorful non oily inside. Cherry blossom ice cream with loads of Bordeaux cherries. Yum for both

Asked for cole slaw and water with my cheese burger. Paid for it and got neither. The cashier was brand new and looked like she didnt know what she was doing.

Great icecream and seafood. Always crowded though they could use a bigger parking lot. Friendly staff. Never had a bad meal there. Prices are also quite reasonable.

Staff is typically rude and I was told they were closing at 745 (they close at 8) and was treated as tho I was an inconvenience for being there. Product is great, but the staff could use some improvements.

Ordered a chicken tender plate.offered to pay for a side salad instead of coleslaw this is what I received after paying $33 for me and my wife to have dinner. I would not recommend this place to anybody the chicken was dry did not come with any condiments. And the top it off it only had 11 french fries. When I called speak to a manager I was hung up on.. very poor customer service....

Lobster roll comes with chips and coleslaw. Chicken tender plate comes with tenders, fries, coleslaw.I called in my lunch order today that I had written down in front of me. I ordered a large lobster roll and tender plate. I told the woman how much my significant other and I love their cole slaw and to make sure I got the 2 that comes with the order. Lady on the phone said ok. I also asked for a side of buffalo and ranch, she told me to just ask for it when I picked up my order. Im not sure why she was not able to write it on the slip? Picked up the order and returned back to work. Lobster roll did not have the chips but looked great, went to the second meal looked good BUT no coleslaw. Went to the little brown bag hoping they put it in there.....nope. I paid $45 dollars so I figured id call and make sure it wasnt a huge difference. I talked to the same person who I placed the order with I explained what had happened she said ok and was going to talk to the owner. She then came back on the phone and told me I said no chips and it was there fault for forgetting one of the coleslaws. I had my written order right in front of me, I only have 1 hour for lunch I did not say no cole slaw she swears I did. 1 hour for lunch means im not going to mess up the order i have. I told her that she is incorrect, she was trying to battle me. I cut her off and explained that the customer is always right and they can keep my money. I cant believe an older woman was trying to battle me on the phone especially when i had everything written right in front of me. Not sure if ill return as this left a real bad taste in my mouth with the dry chicken tenders. Thats not how you treat returning customers who are paying a lot of money for food. Respect has been lost.P.S. I have worked in restaurants my whole life...there is always a karen but that karen is always right no matter what. Good job lady, people are already complaining about the high prices, not good.

Great local establishment off the tourist track. You wouldnt think to get lobster or chowder at a dairy bar but give it a try. The ice cream was amazing in selection and quality. We arrived shortly before closing and the staff was absolutely perfect in delivering compassionate quality service as if it were 6 PM. Were returning tonight.

I love this place. They have the best food. Everything is made with love. Clean and delicious. Ice cream is the best. I only have one complaint. They never ever give you enough peanut butter sauce. You ask for it and they give you a tiny little dot and you cant even taste it. It is an embarrassment for all peanut butter sauce lovers. Please- give the people what they need!

The fried scallops were tasty and the ice cream (Giffords) is great. The staff is friendly and the outdoor tables are well spaced out for the pandemic. My only minor complaints are that it took a while for the food to come out, and it seemed a bit pricey. But overall out was very good and Id go back.

Had the haddock fish taco weekly special on a whim driving by, very happy. Couldve been a bit lighter on the chives and warm chips wouldve made it even better but the fish, aioli and such were great, if I was local would get again

First time coming here with my mom and children, very friendly service, great prices! The onion rings are to die for and the BLT was perfect! When they scoop you some ice cream they really load you up! I will be returning for sure!

Ok POPS in ALTON you have competition! Yummy and NOT over breaded(yucky) and they clean their oil DAILY!!!! What a concept to keep food tasty. Not oily and the coleslaw was excellent! Will be back! Mike is a great guy as well. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Took a friend and we waited for food...but it was worth it!

Food tasty and decent, but our group of 5 had 2 meals with a hair found in the food. Payment system had a problem, bathroom kinda dirty but acceptable. Some typos on their signs, pricing seemed accurate where a burger and fries is $10.

I loved the selection of ice cream. The staff was friendly. On a nice day you can sit outside at their tables with shade and enjoy food and ice cream. They even have a kids table with bubble blowing stuff for little ones.

This is a quaint, small, restaurant with great food and service. Here you can either eat inside or outside on the tables.For a seasonal place, the prices are very fair. Its a little off the beaten path, but it is well worth visiting. The place is spotless and it is very evident that the staff takes the time to keep it that way.

Its a small town ice cream stand serving fried food on a seasonal basis. For the niche its in nothing particularly stands out. That is to say I wouldnt go out of my way to stop but its the only ice cream stand in town.

Really good ice cream! The toasted coconut was fabulous! My companions had salted chocolate caramel, peach, and NH blackbear raspberry.

Dont go here if you want to live! They keep all their seafood in a sweltering trailer outback.The food is greasy and overpriced. And they charge $6.50 +tax for a one size milkshake!Not family budget friendly. Seems like all.they care about is taking the tourists money.
