The store is somewhat organized. They recently converted to only self check out services. I honestly like all of the self service check out kiosks.

Ive been trying for two days to get somebody on the line.... Ive tried every ext... Nothing. Bad service and it is horrible that everything went to self check out... covid or no covid it is horrible... why pay the prices we pay and have no service..

They are updated the look of the store, and remodeling some areas. It looks like the pharmacy is going to have the biggest change of all it seems like it will be much larger and better service. They are moving the entire store around. The first thing they change was the registers no more cashiers now theyre all self check out which I love!!!

I mean its convenient when you have some emergency or need something right now, but its not for on a daily basis.

Only self checkout only! Employees could care less whether you shop there or not. I used to love shopping at Walmart in the Las Vegas area but hate the stores out here as management does not care about their customers. Thanks for nothing as I will only go to your store if it is a need and cant get to Jewel or Target.

I always visit Walmart stores wherever I go as every store has slightly different things, this time was the turn for the southwest suburbs, visited two on my trip and love them specially this one in Northlake.

Im not sure why items are out of stock when it shows available online. Everytime, I order curbside order there are always 20% or more of the items unavailable. Actually, I do know why, its either theft or cashiers do not scan items correctly and their logistics does not allow for errors.

The food was very fresh and delicious I was so please but there shrimps was good but a different batter if they can use a thinner batter it would be the best. But they where very polite.

It was fine I needed a bigger tire air machine cause took 20 min only gave small Amt air.

Everyone usually complains about Walmart but I dont have anything against it. The store has no cashiers, complete self check out. 4 starts only because of the fact they dont stock the shelves fast enough, but Target has the same problem. Im usually able to find what I need there quicker than Target, and they do price match to their online offering.

Its okay, it needs a lot of improvements. Better service, many workers seem to have attitude. Long lines to pay, very confusing in where to find products because of rearranging aisles. Returning department is bad! This walmart isnt good, Ill suggest going to another Walmart.

Numerous calls to ask a simple question and at no time was a call picked up. Numerous times listening to the menu tell me how great the company is. I guess they havent figured out a way to answer calls after getting rid of the cashiers. Im certain money was saved, the family ultimately gained and customers look on in disgust. Nothing like waiting in a long line to checkout yourself while still paying the same prices. I think the greed has gone to far

This dealership is the only one I take my vehicle for purchasing a vehicle and for service yesterday I didnt care for the service department all new people from management down the lady told me she couldnt get me an appointment until September when Im showing her my dashboard lights lit up. I was ready to take my vehicle to another Hyundai dealership. Fortunately for me the technician who always service my vehicle saw me and fixed whatever had the dashboard lit up.

This is the best walmart around besides Addison IL off of 53!. If you go to the Villa Park IL location youll see a huge difference from customer service to quality of over all when it comes the staff. Dont pay attention to the mad customers not getting their way... This is a great location!

They have gone 100% self checkout. And this day when jobs are at a shortage people are in need of doing something for income; its very disheartening to see that theyve eliminated every last one of their cashiers. Where is the customer service? Where is the human touch?

I always come here for convinced because it is close. I went here a week ago (around April 22nd 2021) and was not happy or pleased at all with the changing around of everything and came here for some cat food and couldnt even find it. The whole store layout has changed and it makes it impossible I feel like to find anything. I wont be returning here anytime soon. Ill take my time to go to another location or even another establishment.

I was back by electronics. I looked for a security camera. I didnt find it so I thought I was asking a Walmart customer employee.So I asked this guy at Walmart 3 times he ignored me. Because he was playing on his cell phone. So I said lets see how quick I get your job. He turned around swearing and threatening my life. Saying I will kill you several times to the point I called him a punk for threatening a disabled person. Before I left I reported it to the store manager.I found out it was outside contractor osl phone service. Walmart manager apologized for this persons behavior. She offered to go back and look for it. I told her no and they lost me as a customer because this persons behavior. And other customers witnessed this persons behavior. Walmart lady employee couldnt even answered the question when I needed help he kept threatening my life. So I just left.I hope Walmart doesnt have contractors in there store threatening customers.Till I get a apologize from the head manager and keep people like this from working in their stores. I wont shop there again.

Ladies in self checkout were horrible !! I turned the red light for assistance twice they saw it and me, and just ignored it till I had to get their attention.. the white male was the only helpful one.. everyone else got to go !!!

I have been going to this Walmart for years. Sometimes I will go up to 4-5 a week. Since the changes have happened now it’s been more then 2 months it’s a disaster. Merchandise behind other merchandise that are not the same, not stacked shelves, a big mess. Also the employees are on their personal phones, you ask an employee something and they direct you to the wrong place or they have attitude like you are bothering them.They are not friendly, and sometimes you can’t even find an employee and I walk from one department to another and no one to be found. They’re is Benjamin that is always kind, a African American slightly heavy women kind and helpful, and a young slightly heavy set calcation young lady kind as well. Everyone else well not so kind or helpful. I will start going to the Walmart on RT 83 from now on, now and then I will check if things have changes at this Walmart if not They have lost a customer.

Walmart is a good store because you can find good prices but now you have to pay by yourself no more cashiers and I dont like it because that means no more jobs for people.

Usually a pretty clean place. They have everything I need in one store. The only downside is that the lines can get pretty long and they won’t have many registers open.

I like this Walmart its not ghetto like the ones on the Southside & Westside of Chicago! Its next to a Sams Club which is a additional bonus. Also there is a Subway inside for a quick bite to eat & A Pace Bus drops off right in front of you dont have a vehicle!!!!

I’ve never seen a store so horribly stocked and disgusting in my life. Things are faced over where they don’t belong, food selection is limited and lacking organization. Everything is thrown all over the place. Workers are uninspiring and the overall experience and tone is dreadful. The Forest Park store is way better. NEVER shopping here again. NEVER.

I am still trying to return a Cubii which customer service claims belongs market place but theyre unable to accept because their return label printer isnt working. Store manager wasnt available. This was my third trip. Walmart has lost a loyal customer 😒.

I’d like to shop at Walmart but unfortunately the past few times I’ve been there I always stock up on all my stuff cleaning supplies. When you spend hundreds of dollars and you have to bag your own stuff. It becomes a bit overwhelming. I came to the conclusion I will no longer shop at Walmart. The one in Northlake I know for sure no longer has any employees checking customers out. I think this is beyond ridiculous and how we got to spend our hard earned dollars as it is. But now to actually have to bag your own as well. It’s beginning to become a lot like Aldie and I so dislike it. I am one for believing in everyone should have a job. In the future no one will be standing there to supervise nor to help out. We need to put a stop to this. Self check out should never exist.I like to be thanked for my hard earned dollars that I am spending. With a smile. And even for that matter without this as long as I don’t have to beg my own. Sorry but not sorry someone needs to hear this Walmart in North Lake.

This store has improved sine my last visit to this Wal-Mart. This Wal-Mart is being remodeled. So there is a very little amount of dust (not bothersome). But it also makes it hard at time it is hard to find an item. The workers were great!! It is not their fault that things were disorganized. Blame that in the remodeling. I will be back to think Wal-Mart.

Service in this place is terrible I was pre warned by a friend of mine that the service was bad... First I asked turkey products I was told they only had turkey bacon and no turkey sausage so I asked for the turkey bacon. My waitrst brought out one piece of turkey bacon, a side of ham and pork sausage after I asked about turkey sausage she still brings me pork so we waiting almost 15min to bring the right order now my pancakes are cold so I ask for a manager she comes out and I explained what happened she gets me another order of pancakes... After that I never see my waitrst or the manger again.. and we need salt a and a refill on our drinks so we had to flag down another waiter to bring those things to us after waiting another 10mins thinking either the manager or our waitress will come check on us but NO!!! Not only that were ready to leave and need the check still time passes and we now have to flag another waiter down to get the check from management down to service all around bad ... But listen to the killer I work for the corporate office....Sad!!!!

Great place to save money. Same as any Walmart in my State of Texas.

If you dont know Walmart by now, maybe you need to get out more. This particular Walmart has a bigger variety of your ghetto, outspoken, and unprofessional employees. Besides that, be prepared to have your receipt checked thoroughly before exiting the store. There about 20 Chexkoit registers but only 2 actual Cashiers. Just do the self checkout, trust me.

Was not very happy with only self-checkouts at this location. Self-checkouts are ok for a few items but when you have a cart full its a nucience. You have cashiers standings around laughing and joking and youre stressed out doing their job. I guess Ill have to find another place to shop.

Maybe you all need to close down or go back to your regular method of cashiering as opposed to forcing the customers to be cashiers. This is the most horrible experience that Ive ever had at your store. Im 69 years old and Im not seeking a job as a cashier. If the customers have to be the cashier and not get paid for the work, atleast cut down the price of your merchandise and add some decent customer service. Dont allow your customers to try and work thes cashiers alone. When I ask for help this young lady walked pass me and went directly to a man and help him. I did tell her that Im the one who called for the cashier. This mega-Walmart is out in Northlake. You need to add your cashiers back to your business. Many customer have had this same complaint. Im not sure what your problem is, but I do know that your self-service is not going to work at a store this size, especially when you have elderly customers, unless the elderly customers doesnt matter to you. Even the young customers have the same complaint. You need to change back to the way that it was and bring in cashiers or just close down the store. There was no one there to help us when we needed it. Apparently you cant handle the business in your store. TARGET is a better store to be shopping at. They have everything that I need and the customer service is great by comparison. I cannot continue shopping at a store that is non-functional and the customers has to be the cashiers. Im not the only one who is complaining about you horrible service and the fact that the customers has to be their own cashier without sufficient help! I am one customer who is not coming bach to your store. Since the change that you all have made, the service sucks if any. The employees are over-worked and unable to function properly. You need to take it back the way that it was because this way sucks. You are going to hear more complaints and youre going to lose business. Sucks! Horrible experience since you made this change!😡
