Staff is always friendly, and I was able to schedule an appointment online for the next day to have my brakes checked (for this specific visit). Pricing was fair, and it was completed in a timely fashion.

Monro Auto Service in Norwich is a great place to go for car maintenance. They didnt overcharge for services and they didnt find all sorts of additional expenses.The issue they did find, saved me money because it was still dealer warrantied. They pointed out that I should bring it 2 the dealer on the matter to save the expense. That is definitely integrity.

I had a nail in my tire that could not be repaired. They didn’t have a tire that fit the size. They were so nice and changed out the donut for a tire I bought up the street.

Very woman friendly, I came to get new brake pads and he said I needed brake pads and rotors. I didnt know what a rotor was so he showed me. There is definitely more wrong with my car but they didnt try to tack on more and more things just the brake pads, rotors, and a headlight that was out. They were nice and it took 2 hours.

Brought my car in to have my drivers side rear rotorand bearings done knowing the passengers side was gine. When they called with the estimate i about dropped my coffee. Omg they are pricey. And now i have to do the passengers side since they took it apart amd now its grinding bad while the wheel is moving without the brakes even applied. Never again

I purchased my winter tires on Tirerack.com and had the tires shipped to this local Monro Auto Service. The full tire mount and balancing service (keeping the old tires) was about $65 total for all 4 tires, which is VERY fair in todays market. The new tires are running great so far.I have always had good quality service at this Monro, so I will happily remain a loyal customer.

I returned to Munro today. Casey greeted me with his living the dream reply and my experience here was pretty close to a dream. I showed up on time for my brake replacement and oil change appointment. I did not have to wait since my vehicle was taken right in. I was told to expect up to 2 hours for the service, but it was all done in about an hour. Could not beat the price. My car runs great!

We are on vacation for our anniversary and got a nail in the tire. We called around. Most places said they would take a couple days. These guys said come right over. They took the car right in. Despite calling so close to closing, the gentleman that answered the phone was so pleasant (I dont think Ive ever had a phone answered with ...and whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with today? which instantly made you feel like they genuinely care for their patrons) and got me in for the next morning (without me even sharing I needed to head back to Maine the next day). I was impressed from the start!The next morning when I dropped off my vehicle I was met with the same pleasant attitude and the guy was AMAZING! The atmosphere was great too. You didnt feel like they were money hungry or trying to rip you off - like a lot of places unfortunately - but that they genuinely care about their customers and their safety and it was so refreshing! On top of that, not even 2 hours later I got a call my car was ready, the price was definitely reasonable (*phew!*), and their work was excellent!The 3 hour drive home was SO much better than the drive down and it was so nice to have the peace of mind that my 2 year old daughter and I were safe. :)I wish this shop and all the people in it were in my town so I could go there for all my car needs! :-p Best experience Ive ever had with a vehicle repair place! :) HIGHLY recommend!

We needed a new tire put on our car quickly and because of Covid most places are by appointment only and have reduced hours. One place said we would have to wait 2 days! We walked in and had our tire put on right away and for a minimal price too. Very happy we stopped there!

Casey and Jeff were awesome. I came in for an oil change. In the process of rotating my tires, they found I needed brakes. They knew I was planning on driving 3000 miles to Oregon in two days, so they advised me to replace the brakes for my safety. Since these men have been very knowledgable and professional, I knew I could trust their advice. The price was fair and their work is always quality. And, because they knew I was leaving for my trip to Oregon, they did the work immediately. 2.5 hours, start to finish!! I would definitely recommend Casey and Jeff at Munro to anyone needing work on their vehicle. Cannot beat them for quality work and professional auto advice.

I cant say enough about this place. I realized there was a nail in my tire and had someone recommend I come here. So I did (on a Saturday) and had my car taken back right away. My alternator failed a mile away, made it into the shop, and was reassured by Casey B. that he could replace it in under two hours...One hour and thirty minutes later I was back on the road! He even recommended a pizza place where I could sit and grab a bite to eat while I waited.

A garage open on a Sunday is a Godsend. Over the weekend I discovered my coolant line leaked out all my coolant, causing my car to overheat. I was stuck far from home and couldnt drive my vehicle anywhere. I had it towed to Monro. Being a Sunday, they were unable to source a replacement line that day, so they employed a creative solution by splicing the line and joining it with a coupling. A quick, easy, effective fix that didnt require a several hundred dollar specialty manufacturers part. And they waived all cost. Thank you Monro for saving me on a weekend! Good old-fashioned neighborly service. Much appreciated!

Marc and his team are the best! I have been having issues with my muffler and when I brought my car in to Marc, I immediately knew my car was in the right place. Rarely do I write reviews unless service is exceptional. And it was, again. Usually I have my own backyard mechanic work my cars, but I decided to try Monro last May for oil change, in and out quick! Last Sunday, bought 4 new tires and again, great price and service! Today was the tru test, they are short staffed and busy and got my car done in a very fast manner with great attitudes for a Monday morning! I will continue bringing my business to them as they havent let me down yet! Thanks guys!

After calling and being turned away from four other auto shops in town, I called Monro. I explained that I was concerned about a leak in my tire but that I wouldn’t be out of work until 5:00. Was immediately told to come on down after work so they could help me out. Once I arrived, they listened to my concerns and got my car looked at right away. Unfortunately my tire was not able to be patched. But without pressure they offered me the current tire sale to replace them. I explained that the car did not come with a spare and that it had been an ongoing issue. Instead of ignoring this comment, they offered to put one of the least used tires in my trunk so that I will have a spare moving forward. They went above and beyond to ensure I would be able to get home safely. I will definitely be coming back for any future car repairs/services. Great customer service and efficient repairs!

My first experience here and I was pleasantly surprised. I called to get a quote for a muffler repair. Mr. Ladoux made time to fit me in and look at my car right away. I had previously gotten a few quotes throughout the winter at other garages, but they were all quotes to replacement the entire exhaust system. Marc was great. I waited in line while the customer ahead of me was being helped. I was asked if I had an appointment which I did not because I only had a question. I needed the oil change sensor reset. Which is something this place constantly forgets to do. I also needed one wiper blade and was going to ask about that. Quick easy simple but no the guy assumed I wanted a different service and it was close to closing time. NEVER PLAN ON GOING THERE AGAIN !!!! Horrible service since the other manager transferred.

There is really no other place to go in the Norwich area to service your vehicle like Monro muffler and brake...Marc and his team provide excellent customer service and are extremely honest with diagnostics. I’ve had brakes done, muffler work, general service and a few quick fixes for minor things like hydraulics and bolt tightening that could have cost much more elsewhere. Happy customers are my Ford Ranger, Mercedes c230 and Lexus 400h - oh yeah and my wallet.

My check engine light popped on and I limped off the highway. The folks at Monro were able to examine the car and determined that it was a sensor and not a major problem. Quick service and welcome assurance that I could make it home on a rainy night. Thank you for the terrific service!

Favorite auto shop! The guys at Monro are seriously the best- they gave 100% effort to fix the numerous issues with my car. Not only are they so so courteous, but they are also incredibly knowledgeable. I had quite a bit of work to get done on my breaks, and whenever there was any kind of issue they were up front with me about cost and gave me options. While I was there I watched them deal with multiple customers, and even the mean ones were treated with respect. People were in and out quickly for oil changes and diagnostic work. I had a wonderful experience. Mark was very kind and professional. He greeted everyone that walked in with a smile and said hello, every phone call that he answered he used the appropriate greeting and sounded genuinely delighted to talk to whomever was calling. I went in for a routine oil change. The technician noticed how bad my brakes were and even showed me my brake pads to let me know how serious it was. I ended up getting new brake pads. They even took it for a test drive after they put on the new brakes to make sure everything was done correctly. I will for sure be back for services there. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly!!

My serpentine belt broke in the shop rite plaza, and I have no road side assistance through my insurance so I thought I was screwed. Than I called over to Monro Muffler and they told me to give them 30 minutes and that they would have someone over to help me (mind you they don’t do house calls) and we could come back after and take care of the payment. I sat with my girlfriend, brothers, and my dog in the parking lot and in no more than 30 minutes Kacey showed up to help us out! It took him a little extra time because it is a foreign vehicle and the pullies face the wrong direction, but none the less he got the job done and he even gave us a discount because of the tight spot we are in! Usually car places are the worst! But i can honestly say Kacey and the rest of those guys over at Monro muffler are amazing and I will definitely be coming there for now on!

Awesome.I had been having intermittent problems with the startup system & had been to 3 shops. 2 said it was the alternator & the 3d said it was the starter. I went to Monro after hearing they would test the system w/o charge.Monro ran tests 3 times under different conditions to identify the problem and each time it showed everything working fine. After 2 hrs they told me the next step would be to test the car when it wasnt starting.Monro could have given me the same obvious easy answers as the other shops which would have cost me a lot of money and may or may not have fixed the problem. Instead they kept looking for the actual cause and would not charge me until they could identify the problem and then fix it.What a wonderful surprise to have found such an honest operation in an industry full of incompetence and fraud. I have complete confidence in Monro for all my future car servicing needs.

I’ve been to this Munro a few times. They really have always been honest, polite, and have done great work. But tonight, they really blew me away. I called the store from a parking lot at 6pm (they close at 7), and Marc, the store manager answered the phone. I was freaking out internally because my car was over heating and stalled out three times while driving it. As a single mom, ANY car trouble can be life altering. Through my experience i worked with both Mark and Casey. Beyond exceptional service was given. Bought tires online and had them delivered to Monro for installation. On the way to the appointment on installation day, my car ended up having a blowout 3 miles away. I called and notified Mark i would not make it on time, and asked if they would replace the one blownout tire so i can get the car there, which he stated would be no problem. Took the wheel off the car, brought it to the shop and Casey threw a new tire on in less than 5 minutes and i was out the door to put it back on the car. I believe that this type of service is above and beyond what would be typically found at other chain auto shops. All future tire installations will be through this shop. This is my third set of tires ive had installed here, and all have been pleasant experiences.

Monro is incredible! I was on my way to a routine oil change when my battery light came on and my steering became difficult. I immediately phoned Monro and once it was certain I would arrive safely, Mark got me right into the shop. Him and his team kept me informed and reassured me every step of the way as they handled my car. You will not find a better calibur of people or service anywhere else!

This place is awesome! Used to go to the one in New London and they werent terribly friendly (not purposely rude either just not personable) and definitely didnt give me as much information about my car after an oil change. A friend borrowed my car for a bit and took it to the Norwich location for an oil change, when I saw the diagnostic sheet they left pointing out all the things that needed to be replaced I knew they were thorough! I desperately needed new tires so I went here in lieu of NL and wow were they fantastic. Friendly and knowledgeable and got it done in a pretty fast time for a walk-in on tires. Absolutely will be using them from now on.

We went to our Kia dealership and they wanted a crazy amount of money for tires and brakes. We called Monro to see if we could get a better deal. The manager said we could come right then and they’d check to see if we even needed the work done. Unfortunately we did need the work done but they did it at a cheaper price and even stayed open late to get it done! Our 2014 Kia Soul runs so much better now! They have earned our business for sure. I have lost track of how many people have managed this place (lots!) & in all the years I’ve been going I have NEVER left my car in their hands for anything but an oil change because I’ve gotten reports from managers in the past (many times) about things I need, later to find out (from a second opinion) I don’t need ANY of it!! Now due to convenience of their location for me I stay coming in for oil changes but refuse anything other than that until today. I met Marc who is new here I notice. After my oil change was finished he let me know I was in great shape but that my tires were on their way out. I went for a second opinion per usual to find out if that was so & not only was it true but he did a price match for me from the company I usually get tires through! & Gave me the better tires. He told me to ask the other company for a print out before that to show him what I was buying. Come to find out it was going to be 4 poop tires! & Only 1 alignment! He explained Monro’s were a tad more because of the quality of the tires but was nice enough to still price match me & as for the alignment he explained how getting all 4 would be far more ideal.. But I did not know that about tires at all!! & it was nice of him to explain that to me. He is so very kind & helpful & I can’t even remember the last time I felt comfortable sitting in an auto shop. I will return & trust Marc for anything I need in the future. I hope Monro takes care of him! He is a gem & really turned my opinion of the shop around! Thank you guys!!

Brought my car here for some pads and found that I actually didnt need them yet, they were squeaking because of brake dust in a groove on the pad. Didnt even charge me for an hour of checking, question answering, and diagnoses. Perfect service! Excellent, polite, friendly staff. I cant recommend a place higher, I always go there for work.

I ran over an extremely large screw/nail today and had an immediate flat. They not only replaced the tire for me (thank you road hazard insurance!!) but fixed my alignment for me, that had been bad since I had new tires put on a year and a half ago, free as well. Thank you, Marc! I appreciate everything!

On Thursday drove in and asked how long a wait for an oil change. Manager laughed and said, Well it wont be today, that much Ill tell ya. I asked for Friday. He said, not in the morning we cant! I asked for noon Friday and was given the appt.I arrived on time, was told my coupon wouldnt work unless I applied for a Drive Card credit card through them. I declined. I was given a price of $35 for synthetic blend. When they told me it was all done the price was $51.07. They explained my vehicle used 6 quarts instead of the 5 included in the cost. They knew the year, make and model the day before. One would hope that a professional shop would know how much oil they have to put in it. Then it was $14.99 for an oil filter. Doesnt an oil filter come with a lube-oil-filter change? Then the $2.90 for environmental disposal of waste oil. a $5.63 shop supply fee which includes waste oil right on their own invoice and they try to make me feel happy with a $14 discount bringing my $35 oil change up to $51.07.Its not just the oil thats slick here.

Have always appreciated the service here. I put them way over Town Fair, Ive received nothing but nasty service from there. Definitely recommend Monro, they always try to hook you up with something.

Been going here for years and will continue to. They tell me what should be done and suggest the best options, but they never once forced me to do something unless it was an immediate danger to me. Great honest guys here. They earn money.
