Courteous and professional. Replaced windshield and recalibrated the sensors on my car. They even moved the sticker for my next dealer service from the old windshield to the new windshield. To me that is attention to detail.

We tried to use satellite as they were recommended by LibertyMutual. Apparently they came to the house...but never called...nor did they ring the doorbell as I was home and lost a half day of work waiting - they never came. As you can imagine, they want you to self service using the website, I got the run around and took my business elsewhere. Buyer beware!

I tried to use this location. I had an appointment scheduled. No one called to notify me there were issues. I had to go to the site and was told that there are other departments that should have called about the issues. Passing the blame. You represent Safelite, you are wearing the shirt. Therefore, its you and your company. You cant call the 800 # because no one answers and then you are hung up on. Wow, you have gone seriously downhill. There are signs everywhere that say we want you to be delighted....I am not. The other rep had the gall to ask me why I was not staying with the company....horrible service.

This review is from the perspective of someone who used this companys services out of pocket, no insurance at the time. I suppose your experience may be better if your insurance company is paying, simply because you dont have to navigate this companys total lack of customer support staff. Nonetheless, this is unacceptable.First, they make you pay upfront. This is very greedy, and an improper business practice. It is much harder to negotiate refunds or disputes if they already have your money. Customers should pay for any service AFTER it is rendered.Their internal work order system seems ok and sophisticated on the website, but behind the scenes it seems broken. I originally scheduled a repair. After sharing pictures of my windshields crack, they said it was not repairable (I agree with that decision) and that they would call me to notify me of my replacement appointment date. After a few days they failed to call so i had to schedule another appointment on my own accord (Paying upfront again). I also had to call for a refund for my repair attempt because the technician never came. I think they would have refunded me anyway but there was a lack of communication, this should be automatic. They also scheduled a second replacement appointment (that I also had to cancel) without telling me after I already had my windshield replaced at their location.The day i had my windshield replaced, they left a small but noticeable amount of broken glass in my vehicle that I had to pickup or vacuum. The windshield also leaks water when it rains... wow...It is almost impossible to get ahold of a real person. All but one of the phone line menus never redirect you to a real person. On Google Maps, this location has a phone number listed that only goes to a corporate line (not the actual location). In order to get a phone number for this location you have to make an appointment and get an email. Even then, if you call the correct number, you have to lie on the phone menu navigation to get a real person. If you use the chat bot on their website they pretend that you are talking to a real person but the bot doesnt know how to fake a real conversation.The only redeeming quality this location has is all the REAL staff I interacted with are polite. I actually dont put much blame on the technician that made the improper repair. I mostly have a problem with the total lack of humans you interact with when dealing with this company. If I had a chance to just talk whis someone for 2 minutes this whole experience wouldnt have been this frustrating. Instead this company shields itself from interacting with the public by only dealing with insurance companies and totally neglecting the end users experience. Mabye there is some backdoor phone number that the public doesnt have access too. What a shame.If this review gets deleted I will be posting it elsewhere. Do not make that mistake. I hope someone of higher understanding that works at Safelite reads this and makes a big change. In the meantime, I will tell anyone who asks me to not use any Safelite center.

Went there to get a small chip fixed, and the technician made the chip bigger and suggested I get a replacement windshield which would cost me $100 out of pocket. I was not happy but didn’t want a crack directly in my line of vision, so I paid the $100. When i got my vehicle back the bottom right corner of the windshield did not seem to fit right, the mirror did not seem to be attached right, and my car wash pass is not sticking. For a national company, I thought they would’ve perfected the process but clearly that is not the case, could’ve been just this facility but there should be some quality control.

I got my car broken into last weekend and was very upset! I have never experienced such a thing before. I came to Safelight where they made me feel better about the situation. The Cape Verdean guy (don’t remember his name) was very patient with me. Thanks man! They also replaced my window in a timely manner. I apprecite the help fellas!! Hopefully I don’t ever get my car broken into again, but I highly reccommend for anyone to visit this place if they have a situation like mines. Thanks again fellas!!!

Service was quick and painless. A reasonable price as well. My first replacement windshield just randomly cracked within 1 month through no fault of mine or anyone elses, it just cracked. Brought it back and they were happen to get the problem rectified, once again in a very timely manner with no complaints on my end.

I had someone come out to fix small star crack in my windshield. Wasnt expecting perfection but did not come out very good and will not pass inspection. Reached out to the company via email and they basically came back stating too bad, too late drove down to this location to have someone at least look at it and no one would even look at it stating well even if the repair wasnt done correctly its too late as its been sealed and theres nothing we can do but replace it. Was not very happy with the customer service at all.

I went here recently to get my windshield replaced. I had another work order in place for my driver side exterior mirror but the guy I spoke to said they no longer made the mirror and suggested ebay or a junkyard lol. I searched for the mirror online and found it on carparts.com. So, when I went back to pick my car up for the windshield replacement, I wanted to double check and make sure the guy was referring only to the glass itself which they couldnt get, because I found the whole mirror online. He seemed irritated by my question but implied (not specifically stated) they only order the glass. Ok I get it, I know youre an auto glass shop, but what exactly is wrong with making sure with a simple question that were on the same page? His reaction was part of the motif for my whole experience: Frazzled, in a rush, and apparently thrown for a loop when someone asks a simple question. Does Safelite Norwood just expect customers to walk in and out like robots without asking questions about anything concerning their car other than Is my car all set? Also, when a customer says thank you upon leaving, say youre welcome, no problem, or have a good day. Dont respond with silence. Its very dismissive and something a person would do if theyre really annoyed with someone or cant be bothered, which in this case was entirely unjustified. Im not saying tip your hat and say good day to you sir. But some acknowledgement and appreciation that I used your services would be cool. This happened with the main guy I spoke to and a technician who seemed put-out because I asked where my car was (wasnt obvious). This was the deal-breaker for me. I dont mind using Safelite again, but if I do, Ill drive further to another location.

Got my X3 windshield replaced at this location. Not only did they get it done right on time, but they also gave me a complimentary mini-detail! Also they provided coffee in the lounge and I could get work done while I waited. All around it was a great customer experience!

This couldn’t have been a better experience! My BMW 435xi coupe needed a new windshield. Man was I bummed out by that rock hitting me. I booked my appt right through the Liberty Mutual app on a Sunday. My appt was Tuesday 8am. They promptly took my car in and told me it would be a few hours. It was more like a few minutes! My car was finished along with a mini detail at 845! Amazing quality work and customer service. 10 out of 10 in my book 👍🏻

I went to Safelite for the first time for a windshield replacement. Yes the installation was great, but secondary to the uplifting customer-caring experience I had. Truthfully, it was the best customer service Ive ever seen in any area in my life. This doesnt happen by accident. When I left the Safelite shop, I felt far better than when I arrived. Other businesses, institutions, organizations and government can learn a lot by practicing what Safelite does.

The first time I booked with them back in May, I booked 3xs because they screwed up and didnt have my windshield available or had the wrong one. This time around I booked for Saturday afternoon and specifically asked if they had my windshield available and was told yes just to go there and be told that they didnt have the right windshield. They scheduled me again for this morning, they came out and said they had the wrong windshield, he said they have the right windshield at the hub but cant come back out today because they dont have any openings. Horrible horrible service!!!

They took me in my appointment early and my windshield replacement was complete within 45 min. They also replaced my mirror, ez pass, and inspection stickers in the exact same spot I had them. They then offered me a discount. Great service, super friendly staff, and they were very clean. You have a customer for life. Thank you

I took my Challenger to this location to have the windshield replaced after a rock chipped it (which then turned into a 2 foot long crack the next day). I made a Saturday 9AM appointment and the service tech took my car in as soon as I arrived (at 8:45), they took care of my car and replaced my windshield with the OEM glass that I had requested. I had previous experiences where the tech (from a different location) came out to my office and did a good job replacing the windshield but I later found that they had scratched (and touched-up) my hood so I was not happy about that. This time however, my replacement was done very well and my car was taken care of!

I can have nothing but the highest praise, and sincerest recommendation for Safelite AutoGlass in Norwood. After speaking with my insurance company to initiate a glass loss claim, I visited the SafeLite facility and spoke with the manager. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, courteous, and genuinely concerned about replacing my glass in as conveniently a way as possible for me. After a brief discussion, he ordered the glass, and I made an appointment. I brought my vehicle in at the appointed time and day, I went to lunch, and soon after I returned from lunch, my vehicle was completed. They were able to salvage the stickers on the glass, replaced my EZPass in its proper location, and adjusted my wiper park location courteously and quickly. I was absolutely pleased in every way, and would recommend them highly and without reservation. Also, as an added bonus, the glass(not for breakage) AND the installation both come with a lifetime warranty...How can you beat that?***One caveat, the toll free number for SafeLite reaches a central customer service call center. If you can AVOID it, do so. They are rude, argumentative and resist connecting you to the location you are trying to contact.***

My insurance company referred this company. They never called me for an appointment as the Liberty Mutual glass claims department said they would. I had to follow up a few days later since no one was calling. Interesting note I called on a Monday at 10am. On Wednesday when I called saying I didnt get a call to schedule an appointment they said Oh, we had you scheduled on Monday at 8am. My response, Thats cool, I opened the claim on Monday at 10am. Silence. Ok, so finally, I get scheduled for Saturday that same week. I requested from them to order OEM glass. Easy enough. I get there, the glass is damaged with scuff marks that cant be buffed out (that stuff happens and I wasnt angry) but I was angry when I said is this OEM glass and he said no. So to recap: 1) they cant communicate to the customer 2) they cant make appointments 3) they cant follow simple instructions. Now trying Giant Glass, hopefully they can do better.Good luck!

I had a small chip in the middle of my windshield so I put a claim in with my insurance company and setup an appointment with SafeLite. Since I work full time I had to have them come out to my work site which they had no problem with. Even though the technician Joseph ran a bit late (roughly 30-45 minutes later than the text message SafeLite sent to me saying he would be there at a certain time) is was worth the wait since the tech got started on my car as soon as he got to my location. The tech was great. He was kind and upbeat and told me all about the process of filling the crack so that it wouldnt case any more problems for me in the future. Joseph, the technician, took about 20 minutes to do what he needed to do and when he finished and I came out to get the paperwork, I noticed that he had personally washed ALL my windows, not just the windshield, which I was very impressed with as I wasnt expecting him to even wash the windshield after being finished with it. Not only were the windows all nice and clean but when I got in my car after he was finished I had noticed that all my floor mats and the floor itself was vacuumed! if one of the windows was smashed and I had broken glass all over my floor I would expect them to vacuum my floor but it was only a chip that was being worked on. Why would I expect them to vacuum my floors when there is no broken glass? Truly great service and Joseph who did the work was not only a great representative for SafeLite as a company, he was a great guy to talk to and interact with. He let me know that if I ever had ANY additional problems with the work that was done, to please call them as all their work was guaranteed for the life of the vehicle no matter what the problem was. If I ever have a need for glass repair for any of the vehicles I drive, not only will I call SafeLite for the service but I will be requesting Joseph for the job as he is one incredible auto glass technician!
