Easy to book online and very transparent on costs (no hidden extras). Very fast pickup and drop off, and a good selection of clean vehicles. Gas station just down the road for easy refills. The business also caters for all your moving needs (boxes, mattress covers, tie-down ropes, dollies etc)

From hello to hooking up the trailer, she was rude and screechy.I gave her my husbands ID, as he was the one driving, and she practically threw it back at me. She screeched it had to be my ID. She was snippy and rude to my husband as he was hooking the trailer up.Not sure if she was having a bad day or she is bad at her job. But we will not be back when we help our other son move.

Would NOT use this U-Haul franchise again, nor would I recommend. Owner/manager is rude and unprofessional. He was terrible to work with and overcharged me for supplies. When I spoke with him about it, he blew up and I ended up leaving without resolve. Hot-headed and aggressive. Never again.

Super friendly and fast.

This is the main U-haul rental location in Oak Harbor. It is on the far North end of town and has an easy entrance and exit onto route 20. They have lots of equipment on hand including all sizes of trucks and also small commercial equipment like small backhoes and such. They also have 24/7 check out and check in using your smart phone app.

Only reason Im doing 3 star instead of 5 is the company itself. It changed my reservation last minute from picking up North Bellingham to driving 1.5 hrs away (one way) to pick up a trailer. Otherwise, the people there were very helpful and got us done quickly.

This place has good service, however all of their trucks at the time I utilized their services were in town trucks. Don’t know if this has changed or not.First time I rented from them I rented a van. And I asked if I could drop it off in Mount Vernon and they informed me that it was an in town vehicle, which needed to be returned to Oak Harbor. Okay whatever, wasn’t a big deal.Second time was maybe a week later when we moved the entire house. I again asked if I could drop the 20 foot truck off in mount Vernon, again, he told me this was an in town truck, and that all of their vehicles were in town vehicles.So, on both of these trips, I had to drive these vehicles about 30 miles back to Oak Harbor in addition to the top up of extra gasoline. That’s about a $80 because they’re in town vehicles. A little silly.

Helpful staff, easy to get to location.

Excellent service. We had made reservations at the location on Orcas Island in Eastsound a month prior. Despite this, no truck was scheduled to be delivered! You can imagine the stress finding this out two day before a cross state move. This location came through for us. Professional, friendly service and helped us hook up our car hauler to the large truck we rented. Lots of moving supplies available for purchase too.

Great experience the owner nice guy hit me up and out the door in under 20 minutesfor anybody thats ever rented a U-Haul you know thats lightning fast. But always make sure to do the online check-in and dont expect that what you need will be there. online reservation is free take the time!
