Love this place. Friendly, down to earth staff always ready to help find those deep tracks, or give you a pointer to something new to expand your ears. Very reasonable prices. They also buy used music (especially LPs), and seem to pay better than the other shops in the area.

Dont come here enough. They have a good selection of music and very helpful to my Mom today looking for a particular song. The staff member went on the computer looked it up and went to the area where the CD was. My Mom was very grateful. Thank You for the staff member that helped us. 🙂👍🏾 Oh I was blow away with a selection of cassette tapes. WOW!!!! 😯

Great selection, knowledgeable staff, and good vibes. Just picked up a record Ive been looking for since 2017. Youll always find something youre looking for. Dont skip the hifi audio equipment in the back either!

I came in for the first time and gotta say it’s a neat shop! It sits low key in the shopping plaza and is a smaller shop but they have a lot of records and are reasonably priced. I checked out the dollar bin and actually found a couple oldies but goodies lp that both had the inner lyrics sheets included and although they had seen better days, I took them home and im happy to report that they don’t skip. I’ll definitely be returning. Make sure you plan a trip here and set aside at least 30 minutes to get a quick browse! Thanks guys!

Great store, kings ransom at a paupers price. I always walk out with an arm load and have never been disappointed. Also, always a new and unique every week I go in there. Im never disappointed. Very hip and friendly staff, never a dissapointment.

This record store is a treasure of Metro Detroit. Ive been going there since I was in highschool and they were on 13 Mile Road back. They got a good chunk of my Boston Market paycheck back then when I would buy as many CDs as I could afford 😁. Even remember skipping school so I could be the first person to own an official physical copy of Kanyes College drop out the day it released. Now Im glad that we both call Oak Park home. I dont buy CDs anymore and have switched to vinyl and SCM always has something for me. The adventure is never seeing how many albums I can find. The adventure is always can I stay within budget and not buy too many😁.

The CDs are at reasonable discounted like prices. More of a selection on jazz. Small selection on metal, Punk, and indie rock. An overall cool little shop.
