I had to buy a new vehicle but because of the microchip shortage I had a very hard time finding what I wanted. I finally located (via internet) a Jeep at a dealership in the Detroit, MI area. Out of curiosity I contacted them. I had several conversations that went very well so I decided to buy from them. Instead of having the Jeep shipped to Delaware, I took a flight to Detroit and drove it back home. My salesperson had everything ready when I got there. I just had to sign the paperwork. Everyone there was extremely nice. I even met the owner of the dealership! I was truly impressed with all of them! My thanks to everyone there for making this purchase a great experience! Placed an 11:30 appointment and called to see when I could drop the car off. Was told I could drop it off at 7am. Waited 45 minutes at 8am to drop the car off and then asked if I could leave the keys, they said yes.They did not diagnose my car or contact me once I left. I followed up that afternoon and was told my appointment wasnt until 11:30 and they werent ready for me at 8am when I was told I could drop it off.I was told they would look at it the next day, they didnt. Repeat 2 days. I was now told my car was a diagnosed with a fast fix and would be ready the next morning.I call 2 days later after no update and they told me it was not diagnosed yet, after already diagnosing it. An hour later I get a text saying it would be ready by 6pm that night.Dont bring your car here.

I had the greatest experience at this Dealership! They were so professional and polite. Customer service is excellent! I will continue to take my Jeep there whenever I need any repair work. They dropped me off after I dropped my truck off and keep me in the loop of what was wrong and what I had to pay and they picked me up when my truck was ready and they even washed it for me! This was, by far, the best, most efficient, quickest car buying experience I’ve ever had in my life and I’m 50 years old. Gerald was friendly, helpful, and incredibly well organized. We were literally in and out in 20 minutes. I’ve never bought or leased a car where this same process didn’t take a MINIMUM of an hour and a half. Usually it’s over 2 hours. 20 minutes was a very pleasant surprise and that’s an understatement. The deal on the vehicle was great also. I would HIGHLY recommend Gerald and Northland Chrysler for any vehicle lease or purchase. I will never go anywhere else for a car again.

I dont really know what kind of star rating I should even give because I didnt receive much help. I heard such great things about them helping people get into a vehicle. I reached out via email, and via text and received a response that same day. I was told to send all my documents via email which I did. Then never heard a response. I reached out several times via text, call, and email and no response each time. Just seems a little unprofessional to me. I guess it just depends on the persons experience. Some have a great one but me not so much. Would I recommend them? Probably not. I hope the next person has better luck.

I called to make an appointment and was told it sold be 5 days before they could get me in. I made the appointment and dropped off my car. 3 days later no one had even looked at my car. I agreed to bring it back a couple of days later. After leaving it a second time, I kept calling to get an update, but was sent to voice mail. Finally, at the end of the third day I was told my car had been looked at and needed very expensive repairs and the parts would take 30 days. So I came to get my car. I was told it was ready. When I showed up, it was still disassembled. I had to wait while they found a tech and put it together.Then after all this they charged me $115 for looking at the car.Ill never be back. It is everything that is bad about dealership service!!!!

Took my Dodge Challenger to there shop for service never had a problem with my car keep up on service maintenance when and my transmission flushed picked My car up transmission was not shifting right call them Im a Lady no on asked if I thought I could drive home safe. I was told just drop it off in the morning. No one called me about my car I had to call them. And the bad part when I drop off my car I was told they would just look at it like it was something I didWrong. I told the gentleman when I drop my car back off I did this for a living I just always took my car to the dealership for service. Come to find out I was right not enough fluid was put in my transmission I had to ask no one told me they just gave me my keys I had to ask the guy what was the problem he told me that the machine was not working right and didnt add the right amount of fluid to the transmission . I told him if they would have tested My car they would have known something was not right.vwry unhappy customer dont think I will ever return to that dealership again.

I waited three hours for one fire replacement. I had Call the previous day to schedule an appointment and ask about how long would it take as it is in the middle of my workday. I hadan appointment for 130, arrived around 115. It took an hour and a half for the clerk to tell me that I needed a new tire when I thought that it was a fixable nail issue. That was no problem buying a new tire, but when I asked him how long would it take to put on a tire considering I had already been there for an hour and a half just for them to tell me that I need a new tire. He told me 20 to 30 minutes. Two hours later he comes and tells me at 4:30 PM that I am all set. If they had just told me that I was going to take three hours I could’ve took a courtesy ride home completed my workday and came back to pick up my car. It’s just the dishonesty and lack of communication that really rubbed me the wrong way. I would not be returning here for my service needs and is it is unfortunate as I once really had respect and chose to have my service deliver at this place

My visit to Northland CDJR was for the driver airbag emblem recall. A little disappointed because I don’t believe an inspection was done on the emblem, it was just removed. Also, the invoice says recall added tape instead of emblem removed. Taped means that it didn’t have to be removed just secured. My recall closure should indicate removal to ensure that I’m included in the Y22 emblem replacement notice when available. To make a long story short, I’ve left message for the service advisor and service manager…neither has returned my call yet.

I brought our Jeep Compass for a recall repair, oil change and tire rotation. They also replaced the rear wiper. I got there at about 7:45 AM for an 8:00 appointment. THE WORK WAS DONE AND I WAS ON THE ROAD BY 9:15. I thought it would take most of the morning, if not all of it. The staff that I dealt with were all friendly and professional. It turned out they didn’t have the tire I needed, so the representative helping me said he’d order one in and replace it for me the following day. He was able to get a tire in that same day though, so I returned and got my tire replaced! I appreciated how quickly he got me the correct tire to put on my car.

I went to northland first on August 27th and by September 7th still had no car. All of the paperwork was done, insurance was bought. I was told I had been cleared by the bank, except the car needed parts but should be finished soon. Then started the nonsense my salesman wasnt answering the phone, when he did he didnt tell me anything. I had to physically go to the dealership and these grown men still didnt want to talk to me. I dealt with Peter Solomon and Mike Williams. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

I had taken my 2008 Jeep Liberty 3.7 to another shop because of an odor coming through my vents but no smoke? I was told I needed a Transmission Oil Pan $412. Then the next day my engine light came on. I took it back to that shop and was told I needed a Transmission and the cost was between $2200 - $2400 and that was a deal I would be getting used I chose to go down the street to Northland for a second opinion and WOW so glad I did! I didnt need a Transmission at all, they throughly test my Jeep and ran an Engine Diagnosis explaining there was a Loss of hydraulic pump prime. They checked All fluid levels, and gave me a complete Tune-Up, all filters were replaced and more. But what stuck out to me during the complete inspection discovery...the last shop might had crake my Jeep without oil setting code...no leaks was found clear code road test again pass Thats why Im doing this survey I will always take my Jeep to Northland! Oh my bill? It was twice the cost of that.. Oil Pan! Thank you Northland!!!

Service Advisor (Jason)Incompetent & Unprofessional! My husband took his truck to be inspected for a coolant leak. He was told by Jason the radiator and radiator hose needed to be replaced for a total of $1680. Husband then took it for a second opinion because the diagnosis didnt seem to be accurate for a 2014 Dodge Durango with 50k miles. Within the hour of taking the truck to a radiator clinic my husband was contacted and told the issue was a radiator clamp and the radiator needs to be flushed all for $170. WOW & WTH. Husband wants to know how much of that $1680 was Jason pocketing. We will NEVER EVER EVER EVER patronize this dealership. Word of advice: Go to school and learn professionalism and your craft!

I have only edited my post because I realize that everyone is gonna have a different experience when shopping here for a used vehicle. Even though I had the worst experience and all the excitement of me getting a new vehicle was ripped from under me, I still find it important not to carryout natural frustrations. I think its more important to stay positive in conflicting situations. My salesperson wasnt the greatest, it took me two weeks to get into a vehicle due to bad and misleading communication. This may be more of the fault of whoever trained him. However, I pray that God blesses him and works with him to make him understand where he went wrong so he doesnt disappoint another customer.

Then when I called on them on Thursday they said maybe Monday at best. So I took my van home. Worst customer service Ive ever had. There was no call from the dealership before closing time at 6:00 p.m. to let me know that the car would need to be kept over night. It is now 9:30 the following day 4/30 and I still have not heard from the service department. When I asked for a telephone number for Mr. Ford, I was told that I could speak manager. Instead, I got a voicemail and the call was abruptly ended.

I brought my car in (6 months old) because of a loud, random noise coming from the front end. I requested several times for the car to be looked at underneath. A week later, I called to check on it and was told that they would put it in front of other cars. 2 hrs later, I get a call saying nothings wrong with it, they couldnt find the issue. When picking my car up, I spoke with the service manager and expressed how I was disappointed at how long my car was there and and that the issue wasnt found. I asked was the car lifted and inspected underneath and was told yes. I then expressed how I was scared to drive the car because of the noise and was told, sorry. I then told him that I would be taking the car straight to an auto shop when I left there. The problem was, a splash shield was not secure and actually hanging and that more than likely, when the wind hits it, it was making the loud noise. 1)how does your tech not see this? If it was inspected 2)how does your service manager allow a customer to leave when that customer says theyre scared to drive the car 3)how does your service manager show no concern when I came back to let him know what the problem was? Ended up paying for a rental for 10 days for a simple issue and not to mention, what I had to pay the auto shop to find the issue. And last but not least, your service person was unknowlegable, kept saying I had to pay $130 for the inspection and he didnt see a warranty (on a 6 month old lease). I would like to bring my car there, seeing that this is where I got it from. But, my trust is at a low and Im out of unnecessary money.

Pete Soloman gives good customer service. He’s the salesman that goes above and beyond. He was professional and friendly. He was not a pushy salesman which I appreciate. Pete explained the difference features in the vehicle if you’re not familiar. Since the pandemic changes things he made sure what you needed in order to have all the paperwork ready to sign when you come in so you had limited exposure in the dealership. Having my vehicle serviced at Northland was a breath of fresh air. My vehicle was just looked at and returned to me by Southfield Chrysler. After having my vehicle for a total of 3 weeks, they said they couldn’t find what the problem was. They charged me for work that made the problem worst. Even installed new tires that needed balancing and rigged my TPM sensor. The team at Northland took the time to listen to my concern and went further by root causing the issue and getting it fixed. That’s service I appreciate. Huge thank you to the team over at Northland. Feels like I’m driving a new car.

They are very slow. Everytime I come I am always waiting 2 hours just for a oil change. I was told 30-35 mins this morning and waited 2 hours. I had an appt I booked 2 weeks ago. Unacceptable. I have purchased many vehicles in my life some were great experiences and some were not so great but my experience at Northland Chrysler was by far the worst car/truck buying experience I’ve ever had. I don’t think it’s enough room in this to completely tell my disgust with this place. I will be filling a formal complaint and making sure it’s gets seen by all! I will not condemn all the people there and had I worked with Alex like I was supposed to maybe my experience would have been completely different! Alex and the lady who sits right after him were the only people who really acted like they cared. Outside of those 2 individuals this place needs an overhaul on how you treat all individuals regardless of what your purchasing or how your going about it! I’ve never been so disrespected and treated like a number before in my life. I will never use this dealership again in life and I will employ my family and friends not to use them as well! I would give zero starts but it won’t let me!

I really appreciate my sales person Glenn Boyd.He was very knowledgeable. He was not pushy or aggressive like salesmen I have dealt with in the past. I was in and lout ess than 3 hours. This was a first for me. At least 30 minutes of the wait was waiting on my insurance. Everyone we encounter was polite. The finance manager explained everything and was making sure I understood what I was signing. He had a very pleasant manner as well as the cashier. Thanks again!!

This review is only for the service timeline not the actual repair as I’ve only had the car back a day and can’t comment to the relative quality of the workmanship. Dropped the car off about 11am on a Friday siting front brakes squeaking and rear β€œhumming” on 2011 T&C, received a call regarding the recommended repairs Monday morning. Cost was $170 for diagnostic, which would be applied to repairs. Full break job, front and back pads rotors and brake fluid flush for $950... Dealership also recommended replacing all the tires which had less than 15,000 miles on them. Went with the brake job only and gave them to go ahead at 2:30 on Monday after calling around and realizing with the sunk cost I might as well go with a dealership for the brakes - but not tires, honestly felt the dealership was trying to just get more money but was told that wasn’t the case. Dealership said they couldn’t get to my car on Monday but they would for sure have it done Tuesday - apparently it took longer than expected and I had to call to find out what was going on on Wednesday morning. At that point found out my car was done and I could pick it up. Given the turnaround time I wouldn’t go with this dealership if you are in a hurry.
