First 2 photos are the frame for my door I sanded it down brought it to them and within 10 minutes a new glass was put on. Perfect.

Tayloe Glass was extremely helpful in expediting a glass repair for a client of mine. We had an accident at a clients house while moving furniture and while most glass companies quoted 4 weeks to get the job done, Tayloe told me 2-3 weeks. The glass supplier was looking a bit slow to ship, but Tayloe contacted them and helped make sure we met our timeline. Thanks to them, I was able to get the new window installed for my client in just a little over 2 weeks after contacting them. Their work was great too. Thanks!

Sometimes you just take a familiar business for granted. You dont think about it. You dont shop around. You just call them and pay the bill.Tayloe Glass is one of those businesses. They are a local, non-chain business. When you need glass, you call Tayloe.I am a long-time Oak Park homeowner and I dont remember all the times I have called them. I do know they made the complex glass tops for the wood furniture (made by an Oak Park craftsman) in our bedroom.Most recently they installed a replacement piece of insulted glass in a casement window.I called them, they came out promptly, did a quick and efficient job, were very tidy and charged me a very fair price.

They do good work

I had a double-pane window where the outside pane was broken and needed replacing. I called several places and sent pics to these glass repair companies, but no one wanted to touch the job. Finally, I was referred to Tayloe by one of the companies and I am glad I was referred. Tayloe did a wonderful job in replacing the window and left the place clean and tidy. The price was very fair. I would not hesitate to call them again if the need arises.

Completely unprofessional. I made a 10-11am appointment with Tayloe Glass and explained how this time would work best for me because I would be coming from out of town. They told me that time would work for them. Then on the day of my appointment, I get a call around 8:00 am asking if they could come see the windows. First, I was confused. Then I told the guy that it wouldnt work because I was already on my way, and that I intended to arrive around 10am. He proceeded by asking if we could reschedule a week later, and I told him no and that this was very last minute. He had almost a week to call me and let me know that that time did not work, but decided to call me at that point. Not to mention he already made the assumption that they could not do much for these specific windows and that there wasnt anything he could do except replace them. He was very rude about it. I do not recommend this company.

The work that Tayloe Glass does is beautiful. It is a small business - a speciality business - which I am glad is local. I am writing today regarding my interaction with them this week, yesterday, and years ago. Years ago, we wanted glass cut to lay on top of some of our beautiful wood furniture (coffee table, dresser, bureau, bed side tables. Tayloes measurements and work were perfect. They are still beautiful and doing the job. I came to contact them the other day because of a broken piece of glass which covered a work table (36 x 72). This is a beautiful table which my husband purchased years ago for his office for the purpose of sit down meetings. It had come with the glass (Tayloe had not cut it for me). Tayloe answered my questions and went out of their way to help me make a decision on what to do and how to do it. I went to their office yesterday and they were very accommodating. It is awfully nice that these specialty businesses are here. I hope they are here for years to come.

If your looking for a quality safe glass installation with a detailed finishing touch do not call this company you will be severely disappointed

Called Tayloe to see about replacing a 2x2 pane of glass in a side door. They were very responsive and super fast! They happen to be in the area, stopped by to give me a quote and came back 30 minutes later with the glass. Install was great and the guys that came out to do the work were very nice. So glad I called them and would highly recommend.

I do not recommend

1st a no show, then I called to reschedule or see what happened if possibly just running late.The person who answered the phone, said there was no way I had an appointment.Ok, I’m not sure if it was a male or female, who was so unhappy and difficult to dialog and work with . When I asked if there was someone else I can talk to they said hey were the owner of the company .Anyway after 3 times being put on hold, the person offered me a time of 1-4 today .Seeing that it is 12:59 I said they could be here within 1 min? And then the individual proceeded to yell at me no between 1 and 4 . So I said okay sometime in the next 5 mins and this continued for 5 more exchanges.We can work with someone less difficult. Sadly that business not what it use to be . :(.Bring back the awesome Irish guy !

I made this appointment almost a week in advance, and I was planning on coming from out of town. The guy calls at the last minute asking if he could stop by. How could he expect me to be there when Im two hours away? If youre from out of town and you want a window guy, I would not recommend this company. They are unprofessional, rude, and will not keep their word. Dont trust them, dont rely on them, and please look elsewhere. It will save you money, time, and keep you sane.

This company has done a great job for me in two different houses and with lots of frames and crystal repair!

The quality of their work has declined. Picked up a rescreening. The screen was floppy and the edges bulged. Very poor job. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
