Money in hand, not from the area but driving nearby and will be driving back through in about 10 days, so I called to get a price quote. They refused to let me know the price for a gun because theyve had issues with other shops.If they were even close to as affordable as the price I was quoted by the other shop I called I would have bought the gun today. Now they lost a customer for life because they have senseless price war with some other shops.Every retail business Ive ever called gives prices over the phone. Youve made your problem with other shops the problem of prospective customers. Thats not how you run a store.

They were great for ammo but when I bought a pistol they had a woman working who didnt file the paperwork correctly and made me wait 10 extra days . She had me fill out most of all paperwork but didnt send it or notify me till my pickup time she had made a mistake . Then it was my fault . If you want good services in oakdale go to Freds firearms.

The most expensive store I have been to. I went here to buy gun powder and they want 45 per pound. Thank god I found out that Barnwood in Ripon has a shop and was able to get the same powder for 39 per pound.

Best gun shop in town by far. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They even said hi when I walked in, and if I would like handle any of their firearms to just ask. Great assortment of all kinds of guns and ammo, knives and reloading supplies.

Nice people working there and very helpful on reloading supplies. If they dont have it they can get it for you. Usely cheapper than on line.

Scammers. 4 months later my order is still awaiting fulfillment yet my card was charged shortly after the order was placed. They do not answer emails or answer their phone. I am having to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Be very wary if you still choose to do business with them.

My son brought a new Benelli shotgun into this store to sell on consignment. In good faith, my son filled out all the paperwork and left the gun to be sold. A month later, we learned that the gun was kept in a back-room the entire time. As a result, my son attempted to get the gun back and filled out the appropriate forms and paid the fees including a new gun-lock fee. He waited another 10-days per law, and then the owner still wouldnt release it claiming my son needed proof of where he lived. Even with a DOJ background, Drivers license and all the same info they had when it was purchased and brought in, now they claim he needs a PG&E bill and another bill to prove his residency. According to the law, on consigned returns, the same information proving residency can be used in addition to the DOJ background info that confirms address. The only thing I can infer is that the owner is playing some sort of game. DONT GO TO THIS GUN STORE. VERY DISHONEST DEALINGS WITH NO END IN SIGHT! The fact that the store never has patrons should have been a sign. The shotgun is costing more to get back than what was paid for it new. A real rip! Every gun store we contacted said that long-gun consigned returns only need the same info that was used to purchase the gun! But not this place! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other day, I went in to Shooters Warehouse to buy a firearm. It took about 20 minutes before the first employee acknowledged that I was a customer with questions. (Employee made eye contact multiple times) Now, Im not the wealthiest guy by any means. But Ive had my eye on a firearm for sometime now. I was willing to spend quadruple digits on this gun, not to mention all the money I was going to spend on the ammunition and reloading supplies. The employee that finally came and asked me whats up? Was very short with me. Talking and joking with other customers while I was asking questions. He didnt feel the need to answer the majority of my questions honestly. And when I was ready to purchase the firearm, I could tell he was trying to find any extra fees (made up or real) that he could charge me. Now I know my local gun laws, I follow them religiously. But when an FFL is trying to wring out every last penny in my pocket, it really bothers me. The employee was trying to get me to pay for a test, and then saying 5 minutes later into the conversation that he will wave the test for now. There have been two other instances that I have have been into this store to make a big purchase. Both times I have been treated the same as above. I have many friends and coworkers who have been to this gun shop and have had similar experiences. This is why I canceled the transaction and took my business to a different local FFL(where I actually found the firearms for significantly less, and I wasnt told there were special fees) think twice before heading into this store. Youve been warned.

I ordered a rifle 25 days ago. I was told it would be there in 5 days. After calling a few times, twenty days after I ordered it, I got a call back saying the rifle never shipped. He told me it would be here this Tuesday. Still no word.
