From home theater to cables to subs and installation everyone I have worked with over the years has been helpful and most of all knowledgeable. There was a problem with the seats that were shipped to us (wrong ones, worked fine) and due to the length of time the manufacturer would have taken to correct this they made it right for me right away.
My husband and I purchased surround sound speakers and a Control4 Smart Home automation system from Magnolia.The products are great and work fine and I would buy them again, however, if I were to buy them again I would not buy them from Magnolia. The support and service is lacking. We had an issue and had scheduled a technician to come to repair the issue. I took time off from work and made sure that I would be home at the time the appointment was scheduled. They arrived early and I was not home yet. They left and did not call me. I waited for the entire window that they were supposed to arrive before calling to ask where they were. Because it was a friday afternoon they had all gone home already and I had wasted a half day of PTO to be there.After having the Control4 system for several years I have inquired about issues and adding upgrades. Theyre sales people are not familiar enough with the product and do not understand what can or can not be done. To schedule a tech takes a long time. I recommend anyone with Control 4 to work with a different dealer for upgrades and changes. J Edison Group in Hudson is much more responsive and much more knowledgeable about the Control 4 systems.
We dropped about 15G on two systems. Had to disconnect one system temporarily. After many calls never returned, finally called back. They want $450.00 to set one system up again. Its all there, just needed help with some wire placements (plug ins) Had our son buddy swing by and he did it in 45 minutes. Never shopping there again. Over last year or so, several phone calls never returned
They are great when you are getting a very expensive system installed.... but then try to get a call back.. if something is wrong. . We will be shopping around when we decide to do more and add on to our system..
I was having my basement finished and was looking to buy all my speakers besides my towers and sub in one shot. Bought a pair of Martin Logan ceiling and wall speakers. With these was supposed to include a center channel for free. So when I came back to pay for it, I got an extra in wall speaker! I explained that doesnt do me much good because I ran the wire myself right before they sheetrocked the basement. So I was stuck with an extra wall speaker and had to purchase a center channel elsewhere!
Best Buy was a great
I have been on phone holding for 20 minutes to talk to someone. Worst customer service I have ever seen. This has happened multiple times and no one ever seems to care
