These guys are super nice and I bought my Forester for a great price. Workmanship is very good. Had a couple very minor issues but they were easy to resolve. Overall had a very positive experience buying from these guys. The car drives well and seems very healthy after owning it for a year.

Had to do the dreaded head gasket on my 2006 Forester. Took it to the dealership. $$$!!!Brought it to the Subaru experts at Elite Motor Sports and got a complete engine rebuild for same price.If you need someone to roll up their sleeves and do what needs to be done these guys are amazingly! They even sent me photos of the whole process before and after! Really top rate work.I plan to continue having them maintain my Subaru as it is probably going to be around for a really long time now.

Absolutely amazing.I needed a complete head assembly for my impreza. Not only did they have FOUR used heads, but they reworked it and had it ready same day. VERY high quality work at extremely competitive prices.I will take more machining to this shop hands down. Do not hesitate to use this shop.

David and his team are experts at repairs. I brought my Subaru in for work and they repaired it in no time and at the best price in town. In addition, David made recommendations but did not push any extra work and explained everything in detail so you could understand what was going on.This was a great experience and he saved old parts for to show us at the end and it was great to see. This was the best experience I could could ask for, nothing feels better then picking up your car and everything runs great again. I would highly recommend going to Elite Motorsports as my Subaru was brought to a actual dealership and they did not even know the problem.

We were on a road trip when our 2008 Outback overheated as soon as we entered Minnesota from Wisconsin on highway 94. We contacted Elite Motorsports since they were nearby off the freeway. Apprarently they were under renovations since they relocated . They immediately sent a transport to get our vehicle off the freeway and took only 30 minutes.We were informed that our head gaskets were blown and thought that would be the end of our road trip. However, David was sympathetic to our situation and promised us a 24 hour turnaround to get us back up and running. We were a little surprised they could do this in this time frame and in the middle of renovations. Long story short, we stayed at a Holiday Inn overnight and back on the road by 1p.m. the next day. Happy to say our Subaru is running great and our trip was able to continue. A truly positive experience and would highly recommend. If you happen to run into an emergency, they have you covered. Our rating is 5 STARS! Thanks again.

I received fast quote service, flexible scheduling, and quick turn-around on my work. I had my Subaru Impreza clutch rebuilt and the timing belt replaced (with the rollers and cogs) for a very reasonable price. David and the crew even helped me out with fixing my dozen paint chips above my windscreen. I found Elite to be professional and personable at the same time. My Subie is running very well so I have to give the 5 stars!

Wife rear-ended a Jeep with a small trailer on the back. Insurance company took a look at our 2007 Nissan Maxima and totalled it. Wife really loved her car so talked to David at Elite Motorsports and he said he could get the car back in running shape. Took about two weeks and got caught in the transfer to the new shop but the car looks and runs great. Cant tell that it was ever in an accident. Would not hesitate to use these guys again. Great work, great rates, and great guy.

We have been steady customers of Elite Motor Sports for the past three years. Both my son and daughter have 1998 Subaru Outbacks. Their repair work used to be done at the local Subaru dealer. We found that Elite Motor Sports offered a much better experience. I like being able to call a shop and then actually speak with the mechanic about the cars problems and repair options. You just dont get that kind of service at a dealer.David has done a lot of work for us, including two head gasket jobs, timing belt/seal replacement, top end rebuild, and a radiator replacement. David stands behind his work and he knows Subarus.We highly recommend Elite Motor Sports.

I had an up pipe installed recently on my 2002 wrx. And from the beginning I was thrilled, they stayed late, got the part on, wasnt outrageously past my quote for the extra time. I thought it was stellar.Then the creaks and jerks happened so I began to diagnose these sounds that had suddenly occurred within a day or two after having the work done.1. Well from what I saw is that to access the up pipe, they had removed my fender well liner. Reasonable, but it wasnt secured properly and it was torn, it flew out from my car this past weekend on the highway. Price: 70$ new + new connectors2. The flange that secures the actual up pipe to the vehicle was completely gone. There was just a belligerently obvious spot that was missing a connector on the up pipe stud. I had to buy a new one from Subaru and secure it properly. They had torched it off but failed to mention it. Price: 35$ new + self labor3. They mentioned having to move the down pipe from the turbo. Well the mid pipe flange securing the mid pipe to the car was bent and had no bolt securIng it. The down pipe connects to the mid pipe, one cannot be moved without the other. This was the cause of the constant creaking. I bought new bolts for the car. Price: 5$ new + labor.4. They broke off some metal that connects the turbo to the up pipe but failed to mention it. Now, the turbo still works and seals, but you can see where if they had broken it just 2mm more I would be with a new turbo. Its not a planned clean break. Its an oops break. Price: Unfixable or permanent weld.5. Told me the heat shield had to be torched off. Probably. But it needs to be replaced and most people dont quote on quote just take it off anyways. Heat soak is a problem in these vehicles and a person who works on them should know that.All in all the car engine runs fine like it did when I brought it in. Did they do the work? Yes. Would I go back? Probably not. They seem to know how to do standard repairs, but it just looks like some relatively important issues were overlooked or not mentioned. It cost me a little over 100$ And my own time to fix things that should have been avoided and thats assuming the turbo up pipe seal lasts. If that blows, I dont even know how much that would cost to replace. Was my car old and rusty and difficult? Yes. Is that an excuse? No.Photos available pre-self-repaired, post up pipe replaced.

I must say this has been best experience ever buying a car from these guys. David helped me so much and also had alot of patience until I decided on a car. I bought a 2010 subaru wrx, with an extended warranty of a 100,000 miles. For one hell of a price too! He had the best price any where around me, I traveled 6 hours through two states to get this car. it was well worth it and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! If this is the same Elite Motorsports, LLC that was/is located in South Saint Paul...run away! I bought a 06 Infiniti G35X a few years back and had nothing but problems with it from the beginning. I was foolish buying a salvage title to begin with (live and learn), but was told by the owner that it had very light side impact damage. Once things started failing and I got in there to start making repairs, there were definite signs of front end damage! Thankfully I bought a third party warranty for the car or else I would have paid just about as much in repairs and parts than I did for the actual car. Replaced ENGINE, endlinks, control arms, radiator, wheel bearing, bushings, thermostat, drivers side seat motor, blower motor, etc. I think the guy I dealt with was named David. Terrible workmanship and experience.

Absolute joke. These scammers had a subaru with the worst boost leak Ive ever heard. they tried telling me it was the blow off valve. the car was garbage. Then, when they looked at my car, the scanned the vin on their phone and immediately told me it wasnt worth anything because there was a wreck on the history. Funny thing is, I bought my car brand new, and I knew 100% its never been in a wreck..... Run as fast as you can and go buy from a more reputable dealer. Remember the golden rule with deals, if the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is..... Youve been warned.

My 10 year old Subaru Outback needed a new head gasket, timing belt, spark plugs, fuel filter, water pump and 2 valve jobs. I saved a significant amount of money vs the dealer. I have already noticed a 3 mpg increase and the burnt oil smell is gone. Hoping to get many more miles and years with this car after having this work performed.
