Great spot to stop for ice cream. Im not a big ice cream fan but, I Love me some Ben and Jerrys.This is the cutest ice cream store! Always clean and tidy. With nicely stacked ice cream cones dipped in chocolate with sprinkles just waiting to be filled with ice cream.I really wanted to take another picture with my head inside of a ginormous ice cream lid! I think my head was Ben (see pic below)! I guess that got rid of that prop!I ended up buying a really cool tie-dyed shirt. I was surprised at their cool selection of t-shirts.Oh wait, I was buying ice cream! I didnt get anything exiting! Just two scoops of butter pecan in a cup. Its delicious!

Not impressed. Had 2 scoops of ice cream with hot fudge. Super skimpy scoops, hot fudge tasted like it had overheated or just old! Can get better quality and quantity elsewhere for a better price.

Finding a place to park can be a challenge but everything else goes smoothly. The line for pickup move quickly.

Hey Ben, Hey Jerry, you did good.Located in Jack London, such a cute little area. My favorite part about having the actual location, are the limited ice cream flavors they have! They had cereal milk....drooling. I loved the Frozen Flakes - cereal milk ice cream with crisp cereal swirls.Its cute and the staff are friendly. Who can resist that sweet sweet smell of cones; waffle, sugar, dipped...they got them all.Its not cheap, but its Ben and Jerrys, just skip dinner.Overall great location and perfect all year round.

The I e Cream was pretty good. Nothing that blew me away. The price was a bit ridiculous though. My son had a scoop of ice cream, I had a sundae. The sundae was one scoop of ice cream with 4 dollops of whipped cream.Cost $16 essentially for 2 scoops of ice cream.

Ben & Jerry lived up to its name. Ice cream was very good. No indoor purchase, Everything set up nicely in an outdoor setting. Family and I enjoyed our individual sellection.

From the moment I heard there was a Ben & Jerrys scoop shop in the Jack London Square area, I had been wanting to visit. I finally had the chance to make that visit. It was another really hot summer day in Contra Costa and a well deserved late afternoon break was exactly what I needed.From my own experience with Ben & Jerrys scoop shops, this scoop shop located in Jack London Square is pretty good size. There are two entrances into this shop, one gives you the Youre entering Ben & Jerrys feel, with the logo sign over your head. And then theres a side entrance which puts you directly in front of the ice cream ordering counter, with friendly faces waiting to help you.This Ben & Jerrys scoop shop doesnt just serve up ice cream, they have sorbet, smoothies, shakes, hot chocolate, ice cream cakes, etc. They had samplings of waffle cones available for my visit. It was delicious.As with many ice cream shops, youre allowed to try other flavors. After trying a couple of ice cream flavors and sorbet flavors, I opted for their sorbet flavors of Lemonade and Margarita. The Lemonade was on the tart side, which is what I was hoping it would be, it was perfect.Because of the size of the shop, there are a few tables to sit at to enjoy your desserts. But if you choose not to sit inside, there are benches scattered throughout Jack London Square for sitting and its only a couple of short blocks to the waterfront.Cost wise? I personally, thought it was a tad on the pricier side. $6 for 2 scoops of ice cream, when I can get an entire pint of Ben & Jerrys ice cream at the grocery store for less than $6. Yes, visiting an actual Ben & Jerrys scoop shop is a treat.But overall, Ben & Jerrys is a great brand, they have great ice cream. I cant wait to go back to experience their hot chocolate.

There are several flavors to choose from. The prices are the best, and you can even get an extra cookie and chocolate topping for the same price (white or black).

Our birthday cake was good.....maybe even too good.., that is possible. When your stomach hurts you want to keep eating but you can’t trust no one in the house to save it. Dangerous world out there- cake can make you reevaluate your family.....quarantine means nothing cuz—I DONT EVEN KNOW YOU....I asked you to leave my stuff alone in the freezer.......this is NOT the individual I was raised with. COVID 19 people don’t be evil going around touching other peoples cake.....just pray.

Great staff! Very helpful with food allergies and food restricted diets. They had a binder all ready to go with ingredients for our 12 yr old (at the time) who has fructose mal-absorption and lactose intolerance. Which requires us to see any and ALL included items in all foods and drinks, natural or artificial. I would highly recommend this place to enjoy some yummy sweetness!!

It was really good, went right before I saw endgame. Only complaint that really doesnt matter is that it melted pretty fast. I dont remember if it was warm that day but yeah

I am an ice cream fanatic and this place is great! I love their seasonal flavor lavender but its not there over the winter time. They have a variety of different flavors but my favorite are their Asian ones! They have thai tea, green tea, red bean, and black sesame. The consistency of the ice cream is good and it doesnt get too sweet. Theres some space to sit inside and they also have a couple of benches outside! I find myself getting a scoop every time Im in the area !

Poor customer service. The worker never offered samples but got annoyed when we asked for some. She also began making up rules. I asked to have 2 extra scoops of icecream added to a shake. The worker said there would be no overflow because she would adjust the other ingredients to ensure there was no extra shake. I reminded her that I would be paying for extra scoops-not requesting less of anything else. She then introduced a contradictory excuse. She said they had a rule that did not allow them to alter the amounts of any ingredients... moments after she was going to adjust my shake to keep me from getting the extra icecream I was to pay for. She also said that this location could not serve anything that was heated up for fear of being sued. She then added hot fudge on my ice cream. The owner needs to train her/his employees on how to deal with the public and how to make sense or keep quiet and honor simple and reasonable customer requests. How do you respond owner? There is a lot of ice cream competition in Oakland.

Ordered a brownie Sunday last night and it was the worst ever. The brown was extremely hard I couldn’t even chew the brownie. I decided not to go in and complain just to eat the ice cream but they should really fix that problem.

I just ordered ice cream there, it had one of the worst experiences I have ever had! The ice cream I ordered was not suppose to come with any type of tree nuts. I am highly allergic to tree nuts. We inform our server after we pay that their are walnuts in this ice cream. She was rude and telling me thats how it comes. I tell her Im allergic she didnt even care and didnt offer to give me something else even after the fact she reads the ingredients to us that says nothing about walnuts. She rudely walks away and by then there is a line and the 3 employees dont even bother to help me even tho we already paid. Just went on helping the other guests. I kindly ask one of the other girls if she can just get me a scoop of a different type of ice cream when she gets a chance. She said I needed to ask the first girl who helped me or to get back in line?!?!!! Uh.... I ALREADY PAID! Are you kidding me?! The girl who originally helped us says with attitude she never told me what she wanted. Thats because this girl walked away from us. By now my boyfriend gets involved because they are handling this wrong and being rude to me. The other customers where thinking I just was causing drama for no reason. Even after I said Im allergic to what they gave me, but if I fell to the ground and died right there would they then listen to me? I am not the person who just throws my allergies out there usually I should because I could die but I dont. So the one time I actually complain about it everyone made me out to be the bad guy. Guess what I am the customer! I too deserve to get better service with so many people who have allergies I hope no one else has to deal with what I just went through.

When you want some ice cream, you can always count on Ben & Jerrys! This location is quite small with some teenagers working the counter. No one asked if we want samples nor did they seem bother to offer. They have lots of flavors and we went with Chocolate Therapy. It was very rich with chocolate fudge and pudding consistency. The small scoop here costs a whopping $6 in a cup and I think that is totally uncalled for.In short, I love the product but the price can be more attractive.

Ice cream is good, but I find it hard to justify $7 dollars for a large, that really isnt all that large. Service was good though, regardless.

Nice location in Jack London and perfect spot to stop on a dry hot day like today. I went with the cashiers that was helping me choice which was the chocolate fish and camel ice cream with a second scoop of my choice the chocolate peanut Butterm top of a cone smashed inside a cup with peapnuts sprinkled on top then drizzled with warm carmeland topped with almonds perfect way to bring my day to an end. Ben & Jerrys ice cream JackLondon a Fatboys paradise... My apologies pics will be up tomorrow...

My family of eight lined up for ice cream. Showed my chinook book coupon and the scooper said yes we take it. We got to the register and they would not honor it. Manager not available by phone and cashier would not budge.

Almost all of the flavors for scoops (maybe a few exceptions) are available at the grocery store. Theres no reason to go to Ben & Jerrys store to pay $5 for a small ice cream when you can buy a pint for the same price at Safeway.
