Great experience. I have an old vehicle that needed some pretty specific work using hard to find parts. The owner, Simon, took it upon himself to source the parts, and kept me informed the entire time. He even expedited the work to make sure I was able to have the vehicle read for a trip I had planned. The entire team here is conscientious, smart, and capable.

Took care of my tire which had a nail in it. In and out I no time! Been a loyal customer since living in the area and they won’t do work that’s not needed. In fact I asked for services snd was told by Kevin not to waste my money. They have enough loyal customers from the neighborhood and I never second guess their advice on repairs. Other staff at the place are very professional and friendly - in my opinion.

New management was fantastic and kept my vehicle to determine the cause of the error codes that persisted after the recommended service. Provided a loaner car free of charge. Great experience!

I am somewhat new to the neighborhood and have visited Oakton Sunoco just twice so far, both impromptu. First for a safety inspection and next with a flat tire. Both times I was taken without an appointment and the work was quickly and professionally completed.

I brought my BMW X6 in for squeaky brakes. Was told brake pads were still good, but if I wanted to get rid of the squeaking sound need new brake pads and rotors- cost $962. Got the repairs, but the brakes were still squeaking just as loudly. Took it back in three times more, but told nothing they could do unless I paid another $583 to fix the squeaking. So, after paying and months later squeaking finally fixed.

GAS PRICE GOUGING BEWARE . I have been going to this place for years and their gas prices are usually fare. I just filled up on premium and didn’t check the price until halfway through my fill ( shame on me) and it 80c a gallon more than other local places. When times are tough you remember actions like this. I hope they enjoy the extra few bucks made out of me on this occasion as I will never go here again and that will be thousands in lost revenue

Horrible place time and time again I have been turned away from inspections just because they dont want to do it. You can show up 30 minutes before they close and they say theres not enough time. Not to mention they do not follow the DEQ guidelines like they state. This place needs to be put under review very badly. I work a full day 9-5 as work most Americans do. I dont get home until about 6:30. I live less than 5 minutes away. It is not right that everyone else pulls a hard day of work and they slack simply state you close earlier if youre not willing to work till that time.

Beyond amazing staff in automotive!!! I pulled in yesterday in the middle of my delivery shift with a loud grinding noise in my back end yesterday the guy working immediately looked at it for me and told me it was a simple fix and had me on my way in 10 mins and back to work. Thank you so much you are a life saver and deserve a raise!!! Karma will come to you sir and your deserve nothing but the best thank you so much!!!

I got gas here and went in to wash my hands. The cashier was talking on the phone. He didn’t acknowledge me. The store is super small. I didn’t see a restroom and the call was getting long so I left. They are more of a car than a people place I think since they have an auto repair, while you wait oil change, and inspection place.

This station is the Formula One pit crew of inspections--incredibly efficient, easy to work with, and immensely trustworthy. This is my go-to place for safety and emissions inspections because Im always in and out quickly, have a pleasant experience with everyone there, and have never been upsold or talked down to. I love this Sunoco!

They advertise on this website that they’re open at 5 AM however I watched a guy walking five minutes after 5 AM I called the store he said that he only does paperwork and the cashier would not be in until 7 AM I’m sitting in front of the pumps waiting for service I had 1 mile of gas remaining it’s now 5:23 AM and he tells me to go to another station great customer service NOT

The mechanics and the cashier are very honest and great people. Have great knowledge too and are skilled at what they do. They always solve the problem 💪🏼✊🏼👊🏼

Dishonest management of the shop. They mail out coupons to get you in there. Once the work is completed and the bill is presented they give you some nonsensical BS excuse for why you cant use it

1 star for simple reason, the regular gas price is always 10-30% more than everywhere else.

The workers are friendly, kindly and help to fix issue but the owner is not helper and not understandable. My car had some problem on the way, I was close to Oakton Sunoco and I am used go there. They fixed the car but the owner did not accept the check. The issue of my car was unexpected and my balance was not enough to pay. So I wanted them to deposit check one day later but they did not accept. It was so sad. After today I will not go Oakton Sunoco anymore and not reccomend any of my friend.

This was my first visit to Oakton Sunoco, and I had a massive request. I wanted to get my 1996 Honda Accord back on the road, after having been garaged for nearly 2 years. I already knew of numerous issues with the car, but also expected some hidden problems would come to light. The work took several days, but I felt I had a real ally in Andrew. Communication was clear and direct, and I felt that he was really working to not only get me a good deal (I purchased the 1-year repair discount package) but was willing to discuss pros and cons of repair options. I am very pleased with how well my car is running. I will definitely be back.

I have always had a good experience bringing my car in here, from state inspections to oil changes, they have wonderful customizer service.

Avoid if you can. Their gas prices are almost $1 higher than other places. I had to do a double take on the price of regular being $2.69 today even though other places are much lower due to the pandemic.

As Always, Oakton Sunoco takes care of my car and does an amazing job at a very reasonable cost! I love you guys!

The mechanics, the manager (Jim) and the owner (Simon) of Oakton Sunoco could not have been nicer and more professional. I had a problem(s) with my old van that was tricky to diagnosis and repair. It ended up taking a several days to resolve. They gave me a loaner car and kept me informed at every step in the process. My final bill was extremely reasonable given all the issues. They have a customer for life! ★★★★★
