I popped in the Giants in the Oakton Shopping Center late in the evening to pick up some items. Quiet, well laid out with a PNC Bank inside. If you are looking for a restroom it’s behind the cashiers checking out.

Good offers, the place is safe and clean. Friendly staff. I loved, if you want to buy specials things fot specials date, recomended, for instant mothers day.

A typical grocery store. They have a good selection of items that you need for a fair price. The store is clean and has a nice staff. It is located at the back of the plaza and has plenty of parking. They have propane available near the front.They have a flower shop as soon as you walk in to the right but not often anyone behind the desk so you will need to call for someone.

Giant is probably the most popular grocery store in Virginia and rightly so. They always seen to be well-stocked with the most nutritious fruits, vegetable and organics. Giant is very competitive in pricing compared to other grocery stores and pedicures bake to its customers with rewards towards purchases with discounted gas prices. This site in particular is large with plenty of space for shoppers to roam around the storefor items, which are smartly placed in aisles. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable with regard to item locations and hero you find the best deals. Overall, this Giant receives a satisfactory rating because its a good location to shop for the family at decent prices. This Giant serves is community proudly for several years now and deserves your patronage. See you there.

Absolutely superb store. Easy to access isle and amazing service.

I think this giant is mostly used by gmu students, so this giant doesnt have everything but it does have most things a regular giant does. They remodeled within the last few years so its a lot nicer looking than it was. There are also student discounts if you show your ID (you do not have to be a gmu student). Theres a Starbucks indoors, as well as a mini sports bar type thing (bc who doesnt wanna crack a cold one with the boys at a grocery store on a Tuesday?).

I can always find whatever I came to purchase. People are very nice and helpful. A pleasant experience for a chore.

Pharmacy clinic is excellent

I used to love this giant but now I go else where. The past couple times I have gone in. I am witness to public drama and gossiping by the young employees. One time some girl went up and down the registers yelling about her keys. This place may be close to me but I am going back to my old grocery store 5 miles away

This used to be one of my favorite grocery stores, but its really gone downhill. Just about every aisle has some sort of obstacle in it that prevents 1 cart from passing another.

Just moved to the area and this is the closest place..... Looks nice, has most things..... Downside, might be the pandemic...... Everything is freaking expensive. This place was $50 more expensive for my regular shopping vs. The Safeway in Pan Am. The rotisserie chicken and bread bakery bread are worth going here. Otherwise...... Meh.

I shop here all the time. Produce is good both organic and regular varieties. They were running low on everything March-May when the pandemic started but just about everything is back in stock.

Its a grocery store. Pretty much what you would expect.

I gave this giant 4 stars because they always have fruit set out for kids. There is always a wine tasting going on by the wine section. It’s nice because I’m a wine drinker and sometimes you like to try something new. I never have an issue at customer service they are friendly and helpful. The store seems to stay well stocked unless there a snow storm coming but the staff tries to keep up. They have a good selection of natural foods which is better priced than Whole Foods.

I find its a convenient place to stop to pick up one or two items only. In general their prices are much higher than other grocery stores and they seem to offer fewer sales. Dont stop for wine, prices are exorbitant.

Giant really came through today. I started my Thanksgiving shopping at another store (name withheld), but they had run out of a primary ingredient for the dish I was making . I went to a second store, still no yellow squash. A third made me wonder if everyone in Virginia was making ratatouille. Desperate, and tired of driving, I called Giant in Oakton. The produce guy promised me they had yellow squash. I was very pleased they not only had yellow squash, but it looks very nice, and good size variety too. Thanks !

We use Giant for last minute things we forgot on our weekly grocery run to another store. Always have. The store is clean, and has a good self-checkout. But, their selection in all departments is extremely limited, so dont expect variety in seafood, meats, deli, ethnic, or produce. Its bare bones, and more expensive than other stores, no matter what the ads say.

Extremely convenient to where I live and I can find what I want most of the time. However, despite all the “WOW stickers, the regular prices on almost everything are higher than Wegmans (for identical brand name products).

Much nicer than the Vienna Giant, but they seem to have a problem with making their computer system reflect the signs on the shelves. This is particularly annoying when its a quantity-required sale and you got four boxes of something of which you only need one. Happens frequently, so pay attention.

Overall, the Giant has the worst customer service among the grocery stores. I couldnt find the item which I was looking for, and I asked several employees. But the answer was I DONT KNOW. I asked Assistant manager Ellen for help by showing the picture of the product. She refused to show me location or answer my request. I have never such rude and bad mannered assistant manager.

I love this Giant even though I live in Old Town Alexandria this Giant has great customer services.

I have shopped at this Giant for years with no issues. The one time I had a customer service issue, it was handled horribly by management, which was surprising because the people working throughout the store are wonderful.

I LOVE GIANT! It has great service, great food, and the food is half off all the time! I love that you can use gas points for food off, just to go to that gas station.

I really hate to give a low rating but this Giant has consistently been out of stock on basic items. Almost every time i go there is at least one item i end up going home and ordering online as the store is out or had not restocked the item. The location and parking is great but I am almost always disappointed and do not get me started on the pharmacy where it is a challenge to get a prescription. The store needs a serious shot of management.

My go to grocer in the area. You will not find the gourmet items like Harris Teeter but you can do regular grocery shopping for basic items. The prices are comparable to Safeway but the store is cleaner.

Bought two bottles of Co-Enzyme Q10 400mg with 40 pills each at the Oakton VA Giant Food. So, when it comes times to open the second bottle I notice it is packaged a little differently. It has a Giant sticker on the lid covered by shrunk plastic. When opened, the safety seal under the cap had been punched through. Im assuming that somewhere in the stocking process Giant damaged it and resealed it and not that someone returned. However, Giant food DECIDED TO VIOLATE A WHOLE LOT OF SAFETY GUIDELINEs and my trust in them as a company.

Good selection, but they treat their employees horribly. They change their schedules without notice and then punish them for not showing up without notice. Management is non-existent.

Returned a bunch of groceries that got unfortunately spoiled in a storm surge..alot of groceries werent opened ...i called earlier and was given the ok to come in..had receipts for alot of the food..was fine with store credit..manager in duty was rude and insensitive.. she said she would do it only this time.. 90% was my childrens food..

Their salad bar was disgusting. Nothing looks fresh at all and tasted even worse. Who knows how long the vegetables were sitting out there for.
