From start to finish, my experience with Costello Awnings has been the most pleasant professional experience I’ve had in many years. Margarete and her team delivered a first class quality product, at a fair price, with extraordinary customer service. She immediately met with us, provided honest input and valuable expertise, and answered all of our questions. Her team promptly performed all on-site measurements. They were very precise and detail oriented. Margarete scheduled us for installation and, in the interim, kept us advised of their progress and double checked everything with us to achieve perfection. The installation was flawless and we love our new patio enclosure. Costello’s entire team was diligent and took pride in rendering incomparable service and mastery of craftsmanship. Most impressive was the unprecedented level of care and professionalism from each and every employee at every phase of the project.

Terrible experience. Started out great, very promising but to this day I do not understand how a highly rated supposedly reputable company would treat a potential new customer the way we were. We have now wasted 3 months dealing with Costello awnings. The first communication started back in April. Ironically we contacted Costello due to lousy service and lack of communication from a previous awning company ( understandably service companies at the Jersey shore do not have the greatest reputation to begin with. However, some of the reviews on Costello seemed encouraging). We never met with Margaret, the owner, only spoke to her once on my initial phone call. We did however, drive from Wildwood Crest to their office in Ocean City twice!! There we dealt with her husband. Very nice man, if not a little confused at times, but he went out of his way to help us. After each visit to the office I tried to follow up with Margaret with a phone call but always got her voice mail. I dont like to leave voice mails and these were Margaret’s responses; On April 18th. “ I’ll start working on it tomorrow”. Never heard back. May 28th, (after my wife made another trip to OC and texted her pictures and numbers of samples) her response was “ Thank you, I’m checking everything out”. Once again I never heard back.When I finally did leave a voice mail, which I calmly and polite said “ Margaret, I know you have a good reputation, however, it is going on 2 months and I am getting a little nervous, please get back to me “. Once again, no response.I seldom engage in reviews like this because I know that many times people have bad days, so I decided before I do anything I would call one of the associates there, who I will not name, but had initially talked to when I first contacted Costello for information. I wanted to inquire if there were any circumstances that would cause this breakdown,ie. sickness,anything COVID related, death the family??? But of course, I got a voice mail… I simply left a message to please call me, I have a question concerning my pending order, and guess what?. No call back. How is this remotely possible for a business to not respond in this way? It is mind boggling to me. So all I can say for anyone considering doing business with Costello Awning…BUYER BEWARE… YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!

Good old-fashioned service! Incredibly fast installation. We ordered it on Saturday and it was installed on Wednesday! The owners were a delight to work with. Thanks! We love our awning!
