I dont understand the bad reviews with the pharmacy. Ive been coming here for years and the Pharmacists and the Techs have always been nothing but friendly, accomodating and always go above and beyond. There have been times while waiting my turn, Ive seen out-of-towners become nasty, but the Tech and/or Pharmacist remained calm, attempted to explain and be helpful, but being in the customer service business myself, Ive learned some customers hear what they want to hear. Maybe it was the insurance company who denied this or that. Or, maybe some dont understand the word No.
Normally I would not review a grocery stop, however, today I received such friendly customer service that I left with a smile on my face. August, the cashier, was one of the kindest, friendliest people I have met in a long time. Glad I needed mac & cheese today! Thank you August for a good chat
My family owns a house in Ocean City. We have been coming here for decades. This Walgreens and it’s staff are a sore thumb in a beautiful place. The store is poorly stocked with picked through shelves, and the employees who were supposed to be helpful were rude and largely incompetent. Will NEVER go back.
Its very badly mismanaged since becoming a Walgreens and the merchandise selection is not what it was as a Rite aid. I understand there are far more customers in the summer months, but its really a miserable experience trying to shop here now.
I would go to the CVS on 16th instead. Low stock on buy 2 items to get discount and management would not honor the price when there was only one item left to buy. I could not buy 2.
Nasty pharmacists and counter person. Can’t stand this location. Will be complaining to Walgreen HQ as well. Always miserable when you walk in there, bottom line your giving them business and seems like inconvenience for them. I now go off island and take my scripts elsewhere.
John the pharmacist was instrumental with getting me my forgotten meds on a Sunday morning, even with an expired prescription. He took a can do attitude and did it. Saved me a 2-hour trip each way to get them!
UPDATE: As of 9/12/19, this store is fully operating as a Walgreens. The same staff were kept during the transition, which is a plus. The Walgreens merchandise is comparable to Rite Aids, and the grand opening sales and coupons make shopping here a good value. The shelves are not fully stocked, which is understandable but annoying. Time will tell:)
I have had nothing but positive experiences at this store. Pharmacist are always ready to answer any questions you may have. The people who work there are also very pleasant and helpful too.
Friendly and helpful staff and Pharmacists! This is my regular pharmacy! Great store👍👏
No one working in pharmacy had a mask on. The person who helped me only put one on when she saw I was waiting.
Love john the pharmacist
Always leave a very satisfied customer!!😂😊
Someone pls explain to the pharmacsist he needs to be nice to his customers & also the female pharmacy tech with the dark hair, pls realize we do not have to do business with you!Thank youConcerned customer
I find the pharmacists and techs extremely helpful! I love doing business with this pharmacy!
They never have anything in stock !! 30$ for a smal can of formula that will last 2 days tops is crazy when you can get the same formula at Walmart for 13$ they also no longer carry the rite aid brands what the hell !! Lady pharmacist is rude like she hates her job or something !!
Joanne cashier very friend, manager not so friendly, prices way too high.
Nice workers.
Never a problem here.
