I agree with the negative reviews about this business. We wasted several months discussing our master bath renovation. Phone calls were never returned, there was always an excuse. We finally walked away and found a contractor who was reliable and responsive. Honestly, Im amazed this place is still in business.
In our opinion, Do NOT do business with Asbury Kitchen and Bath. An estimated two week job took 35 weeks. We lost an entire summer season due to the owner Dot’s errors, lack of response and constant unexplained delays. We had to hire a Lawyer to require her to respond and finish their work.. Measurements were taken solely by Dot the owner and were way off. Consequently, our preselected and purchased kitchen appliances ( with their measurements given to Dot before the measurements were submitted to the cabinet manufacturer) were not in her design and would not fit. The cabinet color we wanted was not delivered. The response by Asbury Kitchen owner, Dot, when we pointed out the errors was, “You will learn to like it. There are worse things in life.” Then, tried to blame all the errors on us, the customer. We did not do any measuring nor design. That is why we hired them. Then she TRIED TO CHARGE US EXTRA TO CORRECT HER ERRORS!!! No response to many, many calls and emails until lawyer was involved. Save your money, time, and aggravation, Go somewhere else to have your work done.
Not the nicest but convenient
We were in Ocean City for a quick getaway and called them to see and order a sink for our kitchen.Dot provided a lot of guidance and was very helpful even though she did not do our kitchen. I can only imagine how helpful she would be if we were working together on a projects.It says a lot about a person and company who is willing to jump in and provide help without a vested interest in a project...
Never called me back
DON’T USE THEM!!!!! The warning signs were all there at the beginning. They took forever after stopping into the store to visit the house and provide an estimate. Then, after deciding to use them, more delays, excuses and stories as to why the materials weren’t delivered. Then, the materials were in the store but couldn’t be installed. More delays, excuses and stories. (Four months of delays). Bottom line: if you want to actually get your project completed, choose another company.
Asbury Kitchen & Bath will always be my first and only stop when I need a new kitchen installed or an existing kitchen redesigned. They did our kitchen, butlers pantry and many of our bathroom vanities in our new construction home. We were up to our eyeballs in things to worry about during the construction, but thanks to William at Asbury Kitchen & Bath, we did not have to worry about the kitchen. We got exactly what we wanted and William handled all of the details.When we started our kitchen process we were using a different local company and a lot of the coordination and detail issues were not being addressed. Once we switched to Asbury, we got a high quality custom kitchen with service like no other. William even helped with the design and coordination of the installation of our fireplace mantle. Now William is remodeling our kitchen in Florida.We are very satisfied customers and I will guarantee you dont have to worry when you use Asbury Kitchen & Bath.
No Show/No Call. We had made an appointment with designer William to come by to assess some custom cabinetry work. Noreaster on the day of the appointment, but William never called to cancel the appointment, and has never called to reschedule. We feel totally disrespected by Asbury Kitchens.
