I had the best experience when I came in for a hearing test. Everyone was so nice. The lady who conducted the test was very personable and easy to talk to. She explained everything that was going to happen. Her instructions were clear and easy to understand. When the test was complete she explained my results so I could understand the graph and where my hearing is. I love this office! Totally recommended.

From the minute they came outside to check my temperature on my first appointment, to my follow up appointment after I received my hearing aids, the folks at BHC couldn’t have been more professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions, explained how things worked and took the time to walk me through what is a completely new situation for me. I highly recommend them. Ive just started using Better Hearing and their staff has always been friendly and very courteous. They sent my hearing aid off for repair and had it back quicker than I expected. Theyve called and checked in on me a couple of times after the repair to make sure things were still working as they should be. Top notch service from a staff who really cares about their patients and their neighbors.... 5 stars isnt enough to describe the service theyve provided to me.

The regular staff was very nice and polite. The guy that comes twice a year to sell you the “special discount” on the hearing aids really disappointed me! First of all they send you a coupon card worth $2500 supposedly. When it gets down to you presenting your coupon, it is deceptive, because you cannot use it. They say they have already reduced the price by that much when they lure you in to purchase your hearing aids. I said at their price I would just purchase one. The salesman said he would not allow me to buy just one. I asked why not, his answer was because the right side of the brain controls the left ear and the left side of the brain controls the right ear, I guess he was eluding to the idea that it wouldn’t work. It could work especially if you wore one of your own (previous) pair of hearing aids in the other ear. So when I replied that it would take most of my savings to purchase them and I would be better off to wait and come back next year, he replied that he didn’t know if they would offer it or not next year! WHATEVER!! Of coarse he will be back next year with the same type of offers.He asked what I paid for my heating aids and I replied that through Obamacare the cost was covered. He said that considering I got them for free, this was a pretty good deal. I let him know that I paid for all the other pairs I’ve owned since I was 16 years old. I felt that was a little insulting. He said I could finance them and when I inquired about the interest rate, he said it was 13% interest! What a racket! Are they trying to break elder people who have a slim income?Needless to say I left very disappointed. I felt like the brochure I received that advertised and printed the $2500 coupon was deceptive. I asked BEFORE I went for my appointment if they had a trial pair I could wear at work to see if my hearing was more improved than the pair I was wearing. I was told YES! When I inquired about the trial pair he said, you have to buy them FIRST, THEN if after 30 days you don’t like them they reimburse your money EXCEPT A $500.00 fee. That was deceptive too! I told him they would sell more hearing aids if they let people try them for a couple of weeks, then purchase them. He told me they couldn’t do that, or all their hearing aids would be going out the door.Again, I’m not stupid, there are other companies that do this. I called another place and found out that they do let you do a trial period. I’ll be going there.Sharon B.

Edited review. I am giving back a couple of stars because the people who work are kind, though improperly informed about certain aspects of the app-driven tech of the devices they are selling. For instance, they give away a 7” Amazon Fire tablet with purchase of the hearing aids. This special is apparently coming down from their supplier. One member of this office referred to it as an iPad. It is most certainly not an iPad. The Fire tablet, while quite good for what it is, is smaller, much cheaper (I have several I purchased for $29.99 on Prime Day), and far more limited in function. They suggested the device was given to set up the App. I asked if that app is even available for the Amazon App Store the fire tablet used. They thought so, so I checked. It is not. I checked the Manufacturer’s website, and it even says so in their FAQ (attached). It is available in the Google Play store and the Apple App Store. I installed the tech on my own devices, and the functionality is not good at all. There Are serious problems with maintaining a connection which needs to be sorted out by the manufacturer and their app developers before flaunting these tech options as part of the appeal and price of these hearing aids. The problem seems to be more of a corrupt corporate system than the brick and mortar store/office. I stand by my previous advice regarding anyone purchasing a hearing aid anywhere: Advice to anyone considering purchasing hearing aids anywhere: 1. Ask what options are available to you for the devices being sold (there are not likely going to be many devices to choose from, but they are likely to have a LOT of pricey tech add on options which might not even work very well. It can be confusing). 2. Ask what features are included in those devices (in case you are paying for something you do not actually want because it may require using technology you do not even know how to use), and 3. Do NOT, under any circumstances, sign a purchase agreement or loan paperwork without having time to look into your options or just to think about it alone or with family/friends. Your bank may also be very helpful (ask about asset-secured loans from your bank if you have any money in savings. It could save you a great deal in interest).This shop may have gone over options, features, and financing options, but it was an avalanche of information that no one can be expected to understand all at once. They are selling devices with bluetooth and internet connectivity to seniors who dont even know what that is and blindsiding them with high-interest loans. Please know your options, especially financial options, before going in.In short, the People were friendly, the hearing aid works for hearing (yay!), all the extra functions aren’t worth much, the in-shop financing option is horrible, as is any cheap-quality “freebie” they are offering with purchase. If you just want to hear, which is all most people want going to this office, they will be able to help you very well, but it is quite expensive, so be prepared before you walk in or you will be paying an even higher price in financing charges there.

I have never given a review of any type, but I feel compelled to do so here for Better Hearing Center because my experience with them has been life changing. Life Changing. Not something I say lightly. The entire staff has been wonderful and worked with me and still are, in making life enjoyable again. I cant express how much being able to hear again has improved my life. My home life, my career at work, hearing entire conversations again.Hearing my wife, my kids, and my precious grandchildren, again, Is just joyful.If you are having any resorvations about hearing aids and where to go, who you can trust to give you your life back as far as hearing, I recommend that you visit Better Hearing Center and let them take care of you.Trust me, trust them, and youll be grateful that you did.

My hearing was checked to see if I had any change and my hearing aids were cleaned and checked. I walked out hearing very well.

My momma and I love “The Better Hearing Center of Ocean Springs and the staff”. We came in together, Mother and Daughter Outing and voila, hearing aids! They made our conversations more enjoyable and better understanding of one another. We were fit to the quality of our need.

I felt so comfortable knowing that she is in taking care of me during this crucial life changing passage of my life. We just moved to the Ocean Springs area and wasnt sure wherewto go to fix my father-in-laws hearing aides looked at. The receptionist did not hesitate to assist my father-in-law. He was having trouble hearing from his aides. They cleaned the aides and didnt charge us a dime. Dr. Deavours came out to meet us and welcomed us to the community. Dr. Deavours was very kind and attentive to us. She truly exemplifies Southern hospitality. We scheduled an exam right then. We knew she was the Dr. for us.
