So, this place is a duo..mini Asian market slash Pinoy food togo! You have to order or buy food before 10am because by 11am chances are theyll be scraping the pans for leftovers for you..they serve Pinoy style b-fast/brunch turo-turo(point-point)!!..and you can even ask for 2 sunny side-up eggs to add to tocino, beef tapa or longganisa!! You can eat there. The Manangs and Ates there are friendly and even the manongs gives smiles behind their masks. They also have a lotto machine! I think they also have a balik bayan box and $ remittance lol.. definitely a one stop shop!!π€£the place is also clean!..check it out Im sure youll like the Pinoy food!!
This is my second time here. The first time I came by myself but this time I came with a friend who really knows the menu. The food here is fantastic. And theres so many wonderful things on the shelves! But we came especially for the Halo-halo.The employees and the customers have a real rapport. A lot of joking and laughing going on here. A lot of joy.
Very tasty and authentic Filipino fast food. They also carry famous Philippines delicacies.
This place was amazing. Great pork and lumpia. The noodles were great too. I cant wait to bring my wife. She loves Filipino food.
I came here because I needed sitaw and dark soy to make adobo. If you need Filipino food supplies they have your basic dry goods (sauces, sauce packets, canned goods for halo halo, tin fish), some items in the freezer (ice cream, longanisa, tocino), some veggies like long beans and baby bok choy. The fresh vegetable selection could be better since there arenβt any good Asian markets in North County and I hate having to go to Convoy regularly. There are some other Asian items like Maeploy Thai curry paste, Vietnamese dry noodles and fresh spring roll wrappers.Thereβs a turo turo cafe where you can get always made food to eat in or take away. I got a little snack of pancit to tie me over while I make adobo ;)The staff are all very kind and friendly. I love to support small businesses so I will have to come back and try more.
Ive never had Filipino food...besides lumpia, and after today I learned that doesnt even scratch the surface! The lovely woman let me sample everything before I ordered, and explained everything that was in each dish. Im telling everyone who cares to know...This place is the absolute best food Ive had in awhile. The flavors were bold and savory! The meats were tender and falling apart or off the bone! The pancit was delicious! Such a modest market, but definitely coming back for spices and to pick up some ingredients for my new found love for Filipino cuisine!
Always delicious food. And great service too!!!
Pansit is over cooked and lots of oil. I endeed up throwing them away.
OMG! I cant believe there is so much amazing stuff in this Asian store!
If your looking for authentic Filipino Food, this is the place to come. Tasty and a good price. Its also a good sign when the Filipinos themselves come to eat, and pack the house.
Customer service wasnt really pleasant. I dont know if they close early? I came here around 4ish starving to death only to find out they only have two dishes left. Good thing, they still have newly cooked white rice! Food was good but what ticked me off was the lady who served my food. She seemed unhappy that I came there. How rude!
I came around 9:30am on a Monday...everything was fresh, hot and tasty. The employees that I interacted with were very nice. I also purchased a few things from the grocery section that I have never seen before. Found the yellow thai curry paste I was looking for. Tried the crispy banana and it was hot and delicious. It was 75 cents. I got a nice hefty portion of food for around $10! Pretty much two meals in one. I will be back. Oh, and there are two sausages in the picture, one is buried under the other. Pretty decent size too...(thats what she said...amiright?)
1st time stopping here for a quick Filipino bite before going home to LA. The food was great!!! The price is affordable! The staff!!! GREAT!!! Thank you for a positive experience. Definitely be back when we pass along your location.
Im too lazy to cook so this is my weekend place to go lol.
The food is always fresh daily. Clean and kind. Just like Nanas house!
Love this place the gals who work here are always so sweet and helpful thank you will bgg e back soon
I went here for a speciality ingredient my girlfriend needed for a recipe - having never been in an asian market I was a bit overwhelmed. Nice owner came to my rescue educated me on what I needed and a whole lot more. If you need asian food Id recommend
If you want Philipino comfort food, this is the spot! So good! Not very expensive for how much food you get. Extra large portions!! Get in early before the good stuff runs out.
Great place to get Filipino style food and groceries.
Wonderful food and reasonable price. If looking for Filipino food this is the place to go.
All their foods taste homemade cooking unlike other are done commercially.
I love that we have a well stocked market that supplies all my Asian ingredients. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Keep up the great service!
This is the best little market. Loads of choice and great fresh made food.
Fresh traditional Filipino foods cooked to order. Or try their buffet of fresh cooked foods for lunch or dinner. Catering by arrangement. Always fresh. Always delicious. $
My friend Criss loves their food and I was riding along that day he says its the best in oceanside
There is a real lack of Asian markets in North County. I only know of 2 and only 1 is close enough to me to be of use. This location has a Restaurant as well as very small store. Just the basics but I can find most of what I want there. I wish they carried a few more items like kefir lime leaves but I can find most of the seasonings, canned and jarred items I use.
Food is really good. The best beefsteak in town it melts. Most restaurants have tough steaks hard to eat. This place gets my 5 stars.
So friendly. Nice little selection of store goods. I was able to find what i needed. Looks like some good food too. Ill come back to try.
There are a variety of foods to choose from, very affordable and very tasty!
Great food and staffs and owner is always nice
Great selectionFriendly, knowledgeable staffDecent prices
They serve large dishes and for convenient prices. friendly owner. 5 stars.
Thd best Pinoy food in Oceanside, or anywhere near !
If you love Filipino food, this is one of the best places in Oceanside. The authenticity cant be beat...not to mention the Kare Kare is out of this world!
The food there is amazing! Its a philipino store. Costumer service is great as well.
Flavorful filipino food and friendly staff
A good grocery and place to get your filipino food. Come early to get the best of this place
Customer service could use some polishing up. Rudeness and attitudes come from all sorts of workers. Not appreciated. Food is good could be better served and kept warmer temp and watch out for flies and hair in them sometimes they do get unnoticed. Over all good could do better in service in keeping everything to appear cleaner on the outside and inside. Specially handling food. Specially customer service. I want to feel welcomed not discriminated by my own race. Sometimes there closing early with no cook and the food was from the morning or yesterday that its not fresh food. Not being picky just feel they could do alot better. Wish there was a jollibee around here closer by..
A good place to look for Filipino foods and less well known vegetables. They serve a variety of Filipino meals at lunch time and specialize in catering gatherings with whole or partial roasted pig (lichon ).
Love this place
12-29-2020 @ 9:00amFood service staffs are disrespectful and super unprofessional in handling customers. You can see in their faces that they dont even want to give a free sinigang hot soup to a customer.Shame on you discriminating your own race.
The variety of food available is great. The kimchi they carry is my favorite. Its a bit small in general but the food and ingredients you can get there make up for it.
Great place to stock up on your favorite Filipino items. They also serve a hot cafeteria line and fresh baked Filipino breads.
Delicious food funky good ole momma home cooking. Yummy
People who work there arent very nice...you cant just assume everyone who goes there to shop/buy food is Filipino. Food is mediocre at best. Prices arent bad. Leche flan is super expensive, but its also one of the best Ive ever had (I wonder who makes it)!
This place is tiny and not much here unfortunately.
Really good food, plus snacks. I personally reccomend the purple yam (ube) ice cream. They close kinda early into the afternoon.
Nice little market. Decent food
This is a must. The owner is down to earth and service is above and beyond. Food are delicious, price is reasonable and portion are generous.
Got good cook food & nice customer service
The fresh cooked food here is inexpensive and delicious! The Lumpia is mouthwatering!!!
Friendly staff. The food is great and fairly priced. Highly recommend the adobo
Always friendly staff. Food is almost as good as my Nanays. My go to spot for Filipino food, everytime I get a chance to get back home.
I always like going here for a quick meal and some groceries
Convenient to my location for some Overseas/Island favorites that you just cant find anywhere.. Would have loved to see more items however it sufficed for the items I was looking for without traveling to far.. Recommend you check it out, not only a convenience store for goodies but also a filipino restuarant..
If you are big fan of a local food check it out! Philipenos dine in or takeout with Thai tea :)
The lumpia is delicious! 8 for 2.50 was a deal, its hard to find good lumpia unless its a family member making it.
It good place to get some things to eat
Delicious food, great service,
We love the food here. We visit every time we come to Southern California
Best lumpia EVER!! Love the food here and you can even buy them frozen and fry at home π
Little family owned store, great selection of Asian snacks they even have a yummy restaurant. The employees are nice and the store is clean.
Awesome food, great service! I would definitely recommend. And its called Pinoy Express now.
Home cook meal at its finest. Taste just like moms home cooking.
The food are so so. Sorry to say. I never had a better Filipino food here in Oceanside and even in San Diego. The people are nice, but the last time they we ordered lunch there they rushed us. We couldnt even think what we want to order. Poor customer service π
Authentic Filipino food by Filipinos.Their selection is broad during the weekends and smaller during the weekdays. This is not just a place to eat or order food but also to buy snacks, drinks, spices, bread or other Filipino specific foods.Busy during the weekends.γγCatering: YesRestroom: YesAC: YesWifi: NoCustomer Service: Good 4/5Price: $ Cheap!
The best Filipino food in oceanside
The market is where you can buy different vegetables you have difficulty finding from other stores. Their breads are made fresh. Staff are friendly.
Was a great visit to buy my all favorite foodπ
Lots of different foods are sold here. The people working here are very nice. Lots of food and pastries from the Philippines are sold here.
They serve very generously lol. I can feed my 2 daughters and I with one plate. Lumpia is good and so are some crispy rolls with banana, dont know what they are called but yes lol!
Very friendly staff..outstanding food..definitely a hidden gem!
Lechon and other Filipino delights. A small selection of grocery items that you wont often find in this part of North County. Show up very early Sunday morning if you want some Lechon.
Very welcoming people and great food!!
Great place to get Filipino food in Oceanside. You can buy party trays of food there too if you are hosting an event!
Good selection of groceries. Get there early for the to-go food, runs out fast.
Small but has what I want. I also recommend Asian 101 Market in San Marcos bigger selection of groceries.
Best Food ever! β€
Only place Ive seen nearby to get some asian food essentials. Nice meal if you get there early enough.
Absolutely delicious with kind service!
Fantastic food and service. Whenever my wife says she wants pancit or adobo theyre the first place I think of
Small store but the food was good
Classic, home cooked Filipino dishes. Their sisig, dinuguan and lechon are to die for. Definitely one of my go-to lunch spots :)
If you wanna try filipino food this is the best place.. all og their food is delicious and good customer service..
Great food, but show up early because the best food sells first.
Everyone are nice & the food are amazing
Had lunch on a recommendation the service and food was outstanding.
The food is so delicious
Great food, great flavors, too greasy, but. Philippino food in general is greasy, they cook with the actual animal fat, its your choice.
Great Filipino food in Oceanside, oh wait its the only Filipino food in oceanside
Yummy pho noodles!
