I brought my car in for brake inspection/work before I drove it across the country, they did a full inspection and sent a link to a copy of the inspection within the hour. I ended up going with the recommended services and it was completely worth it. I drove about 3,400 miles in 8 days and never had any troubles.

Clean, professional and the work gets done quick. They charge for the diagnostics, and find more things than you want them too, but I suppose its worth it and they only fix what you agree to. They gave me free Lyft rides to home and back while doing the job. Good work.

Ive been bringing my car here for the last year or so because they are transparent about the scope of work you need - whether immediately or for preventative maintenance. You are texted a full webpage related to your vehicles needs with pictures along with descriptions.Its AAA approved - meaning discount - AND (not sure if they still due because of covid surging prices) they offered a Lyft/Uber to and from the shop once you drop off your vehicle. Complimentary!Ive never waited more than 2 days and most recently when my TCM needed to be replaced urgently, they got it done for me in 4 hours. I was blown away. They saved my car, my bacon, and at the reasonable prices - my wallet.Special thanks to Jared (Shop Manager) for always being clear, helpful, and professional. This is the only shop in Oceanside (or North County for that matter) that I trust my car with, you should too!

I highly recommend Mission Auto Care. Jared and staff are excellent. My 2009 Ford Ranger Sport had cooling issues, it wasn’t getting up to normal operating temperature and had several leaks and a faulty thermostat and housing, etc. Jared kept me informed as repairs progressed and his guys do quality work. I had a great experience with Mission Auto Care! After breaking my tie-rod, I was able to have my car dropped off to a secure spot on the weekend. They called me promptly Monday morning with the inspection results and sent the report with photos to my phone! All repairs were completed by Tuesday. What turnaround! They even were able to replace my air filters (the dealer couldn’t do this with a week heads up). I’m not going anywhere else in the future for my repairs.

My 2016 Kia was overheating and I took it to the dealer but they told me nothing was wrong. It continued to overheat so I took it to Mission Auto Care and they knew right away what was wrong. It was leaking water through the head gasket. They said they have seen this many times with Kias. They took the car, confirmed the diagnosis and told me to take it to the dealer to get it fixed because it was still under warranty. WHAAAAT? A legitimate business that is looking out for others? Crazy! They gave me pictures of the leaking head gasket which I gave to the dealer. I am now a lifetime customer! They could have tried to get my money by doing the work themselves but they ended up saving me thousands of dollars by being honest and having me take the car to the dealer for warranty work.

Jared was awesome and super patient! Unfortunately, my catalytic converter was taken from my car while it was parked at my apartment complex but Mission Auto Care took care of everything in 3 days! Im very grateful for their work, honesty and transparency with other issues my car had. Thanks again!

I have always had my vehicle maintained at the dealership but decided to look for a place to go locally that wouldnt over charge for the work done. I found Mission Auto Care through AAA referral. They were nice and quick, maybe a little too quick as I had to pull over on the way home and check the air pressure in all my tires because they forgot to reset my tire pressure button after rotating my tires. When I got home I came across the quote that the dealership had given me and as I suspected they charged me too much for what they did. I googled fair pricing as well and confirmed again that I paid too much. Very Disappointed! I Wont be returning, if Im going to over pay for the service, I at least want my car washed so it doesnt sting as bad. :(

My 2017 Kia Sportage needed a major tune-up in preparation for a long trip. Jared and the team at Mission Auto Care delivered excellent service from start to finish. Check-in for my appointment was quick and Jared took care of proving an Uber home. An easy-to-understand summary of the work needed was emailed to me for review and approval. Pickup was just as easy: Jared called to advise that the car was ready and an Uber was at my house within 10 minutes. The final bill came in below the estimate and the car drives better than it has in years. Highly recommended.

From the phone call asking them about making an appointment to when I returned to pick up my car, my experience was fantastic, professional, friendly and on time. Jared called or text me regularly with updates. They send you a text to go to the link with your complete front to back assessment. No pressure to get a bunch of things done that you didn’t come in for just explain suggestions on maintenance you can have done when you can and what they feel should be done now to keep you safe on the road. Very please with the maintenance and work that was done on our car. The owner guided me through the selection of possible mud and snow tires and directed me towards one that I just love. My Tahoe handles better than I ever could imagine it would. On a previous visit they directed me towards some fog lights and this visit they installed them. With the recent snowstorm I was able to test out the fog lights and the tires am I driving experience was fabulous Would highly recommend Mission Auto Care to our family friends and others.

I have a hard time trusting the honestly and integrity of any place that charges you a separate, double digit quote just for 3 diagnostics. I was quoted $225.00 to inspect my brakes, suspension and a check engine light, before any real work is even done! Outrageous! $67.50 to inspect brakes here, but only $45 every other place I called. I have at least $2,000 worth of needed work and this place will not be earning it. I encourage you to shop around.

Took my car to get my headlight fixed due to electrical problem that another shop could not fix and the mechanic had the problem solved during the service. Very quick and no hassle. Since it was there, I had the oil change and belt changed for my road trip. Very professional staff and did not take long at all. Definitely coming back here for all my services.

This place is the best, I went to 2 different auto shops and they couldn’t fix my BMW, here they fixed it in a day .

My belt tensioner broke off with the bolt snapped off inside, when I called the shop they were friendly and professional, the offered me some tow truck companies if I needed the help. They fixed the problem within two days and called me with updates on my car. They offered Uber services for transportation when it was time to pick up my car. It was a little pricy $, but the quality of work was great and they washed my car, they also have inspection services with pictures and was really helpful to know what other maintenance my car needed. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this place to other people👍

Pictures of fluid tests. Comparisons. They don’t cheat you and do quality work. While they are a little “higher” end pricing it’s completely worth their work and they understand you can’t be without your vehicle. *You get what you pay for.*I just brought my 2011 forester in because I thought I had a problem the cv joint front driver side. Turns out it wasn’t that at all. I would have spent several days by myself diagnosing this... and who knows how much money replacing parts. They, not only found the problem, but had it ready for me noon the next day.-original- I brought my 2011 Subaru Forester in with front end suspension concerns. I thought, for sure, they would charge me more or tell me this and that is wrong and we can’t do this unless we do that. Nope. Straight forward tried their best got my car fixed for me. Bringing both Subaru’s back here for sure and my Nissan. Got me for life.

If you’re looking for a great auto Mechanic in north county look no further.I made my appointment online, they called me right away to confirm that they had that day and hour available.I’m very happy with the service I received from Jared, at Mission auto care, he was polite knowledgeable and not condescending,( like women get so often from males in the auto auto repair industry. That is a huge deal to me!!)I told him what I thought the problem might be so that’s what they checked & fixed. They changed the fuse for my 12 V power outlet & didn’t ever charge me.Oh & bonus they are AAA approved

I had my Jeep towed to his shop by AAA on a Sunday, I was not expecting anyone to be there (the shop is closed on Sundays), but surprising Pepe was there. He volunteered to look at my Jeep and repair my Jeep the same day. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

We take our 2010 F150 Ford truck and 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer there for regular service, lube and oil, brakes, rotors, coolant flush, etc. Great service, mechanics, office staff. Its within walking distance to home making them a definite 5 star place. Hard to find 5 star auto service anywhere especially close to home !

Best shop in town and best transmission repair all around. Its hard to find experienced honest mechanics and this one of those places.

From the time I entered their door of business for my appointment until I left with completed vehicle inspection report I was treated with respect, honesty & professionally...I also had the feeling this was how they treated every customer.

The service was excellent. I needed a ride home while they worked on my car and they gave me a ride home and they also picked me up to get my car when repairs were done. I would definitely recommend Mission Auto Care and will be using them in the future if needed.

2021 Review: I have to say this honestly, Jared is amazing. I had a loud clunking sound every time I turned the steering wheel. I wound up replacing the steering coupler in the EPS motor to correct the issue. However, I ended up with no power steering and an EPS and Traction light. Researching showed that Id need to recalibrate the steering angle sensor to correct the issue. I turned it in to Jared and they found a connector wasnt fully seated. They connected the connector and recalibrated the sensor. They also performed a 36 point inspection and found other areas that needed attention. Me loving to work on my cars within my skill set told Jared that Id be fixing those issues. Jared is such a breath of fresh air. Ive been to other places where they put the pressure on you non stop to have them do the repairs but Jared didnt. He was extremely professional and stated that he just needed to inform me of the issues and said if I ever need them again, they are there for me. Please, if youre on the fence about a trust worthy place... dont feel that way with Mission Auto Care. I highly recommend this place to everyone and am very glad to know that I have such a professional and trustworthy repair shop in my local community.2019 Review: Took my vehicle in which was an out of state purchase from PA. Explained to Jared that there was some concerns I had in regards to the seller lying and spraying over rust. I explained a couple of other items of concern as well. I also told Jared up front that Im a DIY guy with a helicopter mechanic background and that I would do repairs within my skill level and work with Mission Auto Care for items I can not handle. Jared was extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. He had his team perform a through 36 point inspection and provided pictures of problem areas. No pressure at all in regards to having them perform the work as you get with some establishments. Ill definitely recommend this place and will be working with them for items I cant handle. First time using Mission Auto Care. Excellent experience. They performed routine maintenance check; adjusted the rear brakes; and a full brake job on the front brakes. They rush the job, and it was done the day before scheduled. We will be taking our second car there from now on.

I always go to Pepe when my cars are acting up. He is very knowledgeable and very polite. Hes always done exceptional work at very fair prices and will keep you informed the whole time. I took my truck to him to figure out my brakes unfortunately it was quite late in the day, luckily Pepe and his crew stayed and worked on my truck just so I would have it back asap. Thank yall. Not sure if it was because I am a black woman, but the owner through a temper tantrum on me and walked off when I could not tell him exactly what was wrong with my car. If I were a mechanic, I could probably talk the lingo..... After standing there silent and in awe, an employee told me I should take my business somewhere else. I am still in shock, because I know I did nothing to warrant this treatment.

I had the best experience with mission auto care, they were friendly and caring. The owner Pepe took time out of his day to explain to me exactly what I needed to do to get it fixed. Instead of over charging me or scamming me he told me that my car had a factory recall and they would fix it for free. He sat me down and explained to me what I needed to and say. He didn’t even charge me for diagnosing what was wrong with the car or charge me a storage fee. He wouldn’t even take a tip.
