WinCo Foods is a very large, very clean and well lit supermarket. Their prices are the lowest for the same brand items than any other food market in the area.This was my first time there shopping for Bison meat. I am very happy to find it and I saw the many other meat products that they have for sale there.I was very impressed.The people were very helpful and knowledgeable about where things are placed. That was very nice too.I strongly recommend this store to anyone.Older Vassily

Great store that is always fully stocked and clean. The food is all good and they have a very very nice selection. One downside though is that they don’t accept credit cards or Apple Pay which blows. I have gone there 3 times and have had to drive home because they are one of the few stores that don’t take credit cards . Anyways highly recommend shopping here.

My whole family shops here. They have better prices here than at Walmart. Great employees too. I actually knows somebody that works here and he loves his job. I think that says a lot about a place. Probably the very best grocery store I have ever been to in my entire life. Happy shopping!

Think of Food 4 Less or Smart N Final, but bigger and much classier.

Be super careful when buying sushi, looks like it could be parasites. Everything else about this place is awesome though

Large store with so many low cost grocery items. They carry many international foods so you can find everything you need in one place. You also have the option of buying some items in bulk. The San Marcos store is great, but this has a larger selection of groceries.

I absolutely love this store. Open 24 hours is so nice to be able to go grocery shopping anytime that is convienant as my schedule is quite erratic at times. This store has the best prices out of any of the other grocery stores around, it always has everything I need and more the isles are always fully stocked. The check out clerks are by far the friendliest and most patient especially since I have a huge order for them to bring up. Also want to mention the store is clean and organized and I am very pleased with the quality, especially the deli meats, cheese and bakery you cant beat the price its the best in town. Keep up the good work Winco youve got a customer for life, I willlet everyone know about the quality and the savings your store provides.

So far, I have this place to be great for good prices on food. Some of the other household items are probably cheaper at Walmart. But the store is extremely clean and very well organized. And remember they only accept cash or debit cards. But I love that they are open 24 hours!

I grew up on the east coast, but now live on the west. My oldest brother use to catch all kinds of fish, lobster and crab.I can find almost monthly a sale on crab at WinCo. And the butter to dip it in is also inexpensive. Its a dinner treat that makes me think of home. 🤟🤠👍

Terrific grocery store. Usually clean. Good prices. Checkout is kind of chaotic during busy times, but worth it, if only for the rosemary sourdough bread from the bakery

Years ago if someone didnt take a credit card I would have never rated them 5 stars. But I understand why they do. Their pricing and selection is outstanding. Paying cash or debit card has not been a problem to get this kind of pricing and selection. Nice wide isles (great during pandemic) nice wide parking spots, cant remember an out of stock situation. While staff and lines are not a five star the other factors kept it there for me. So happy we have a Winco near us. 4 stores are all we go to, Winco, TJs, Sprouts and Costco. I do go to Frazier Farms but they are always out of stock on many things I buy.

Fast service with the best prices.

They don’t enforce COVID protocols for customers, like wearing masks which is a bummer.They have a good variety of bulk items. And are a very large store with lots of variety, and great prices.

Shelves seem to be shifting around again. Bulk items are back but selection of dried fruit has dwindled. Three checkout lanes at 7PM isnt enough.

This is an awesome store once you find your way around. Dont be afraid of trying WinCo brand items; personally I think they are quite good. Only downside here is no credit cards accepted, but debit is fine.

If you ride a bicycle, they do NOT want your business. Was told I couldnt bring bike in and I couldnt lock it up in front of the store. Used to do all my grocery shopping here, now Im going to Target next door, least they have a bike rack and allow you to lock your bike.

If you like bulk food such as nuts, flour, dried fruits, nut mix, coffee bean, candy, oatmeal, etc.. This is the place to shop. There are so many items on sale for meat, beer, dairy, produce, etc.. The foods price here is very competitive.

Always well-stocked shelves, plenty walking room, tons variety of Winco brand products..cherry on top is staff is always knowledgeable, and super kind and polite. Aside from the huge assortment of excellent foods from A to Z, perfectly packaged deli... household products - theres always a good vibe in your store. Btw, we never leave without 2 packages of your home-made manicotti. (And H says the prices are fabulous...)Our favorite store!

Clean, fully stocked and knowledgeable staff. Staff was helpful and attentive. Just wish there was a visible person taking care of cleaning grocery carts. There was cleaners available so you can do it yourself though.

The best grocey store ever!!! We love coming here. Its thw best value you will find around. Great employees to assist you with finding exactly what youre looking for. We were looking to get some meet to bbq tomorrow and they had ample supply. I asked the gentleman in the meat departmwnt if they had the prime rib burgers in the back as they were out on the shelves. He, without heaitation went to tbe back to check. He did have them and gave me a package. That was awesome. I have to say in this time with the pandemic and all, the employees I encountered were upbeat and helpful. I truly appreciate everything they did to make the shoppjng experience a pice of cake! What a WIN! This places is AMAZING!

WinCo is always are go to market. They always have fresh produce and the best prices compared to any store in southern California. If youve never been, think of WinCo like a non-membership version of Costco, where you get the benefit of paying the bulk discounted price for something except you dont have to buy 15 gallons of ketchup to get the bargain price. They have an amazing section on the right side of the store as well that has 55 gallon drums of anything and everything you can imagine that you are able to get a baggy, put however much you want in the baggy, and then pay for it at the front; whether you want 20 pounds of sesame seeds, or 1 handful of popcorn flavored jelly beans, they have it all! Gourmet coffee beans from around the world, to hundreds of kinds of seasons, candies, etc. Their meat department is also very similar to Costco with tons of different selections and all at very discounted prices. Amazing cuts, and great prices. Asides from the normal vast array of frozen foods, they have an enormous liquor/wine/and beer section as well that is all at insanely low prices. *Of note! You can ONLY USE DEBIT here*If you are looking for a grocery store with extremely low prices, and items you cant get anywhere else, this is the spot.

Was checking out with an employee named “Brian” and while he was scanning my items I had informed him I have coupons to use and he said okay I just needed to “enter a phone number or something like that” on the screen. After tapping the screen nothing pops up and even me telling him he just says it’ll automatically do it. instead of using them I paid full price which literally defeats the purpose of even getting them. Called customer service and the only thing they can do is store credit. Like really? Waste of time and I should’ve gone somewhere else.

Large store & well stocked. Good variety of basic food ites. The large bulk bins, which include nuts & candies, are filled with premeasured bags due to Covid19. The prices in general are low, especially compared to most grocery stores. I plan on returning.

I love WinCo. My complaint is the lack of cashiers. Rarely are more than two lanes opened when we shop at 10 a.m. I am not counting the self service lanes because we buy too much. Occasionally someone will open a register if the lines have 6 or 7 customers deep. I have noticed the extra cashier rarely turns on their light. Probably hoping not to attract customers, but the employee will continue to wait on customers as long as someone stands in the line or the other two lanes are long. Yesterday we got in a line. We had to practice social distancing. I know the employee saw us. She looked in our direction. We were talking and waiting our turn. Then we noticed the cashier was no longer there. She had walked off while a customer was bagging their food. We thought she would return but she just rushed off. She should have said something to us or put up a closed sign when we first got in line. The managers should be just as concerned about checking customers out.
