I came in today and everything is so easy and comfortable. I got my eye exam right away. Liz helped me to get my glasses but unfortunately their lab is so close so she really helped me that she called their sister store in vista to get my glasses done.

I am currently short on resources and homeless And from out of state. These guys have a program to help people in my situation. They gave me am exam and a pair of specs for free. Give them a call and ask for a voucher.

Oceanside Office: Overall clean facility and courteous service but sadly thats where my satisfaction starts tumbling. I had a full eye exam then ordered 2 sets of glasses, one clear and one sunglasses. A week later I went to pick them up the Rep. discovered the sunglasses scratched before I even tried them on so she immediately made up an order to remake them. Why had the lenses not been examined when received from outside lab? When I tried them on to see how they looked I informed them that my vision was unacceptably blurred so another rep. came to remark those glasses and notations were made to the order. I tried on the new clear glasses and pointed out a blurry vision with these glasses also so I was encouraged to try them for a few days to allow my eyes to adjust. So I did as they asked. I never received a call informing me that the remade glasses were ready so several weeks later I stopped in to pick up the sunglasses. Again I reported the sunglasses still blurry as were the clear. After much consultation among staff it was realized that the old prescription from a completely different doctor at a different branch location for my glass order 2 years ago had been used for these new sunglasses at their location. Really! No apology, they just ordered new sunglasses again! When I questioned the blur with my new clear glasses explaining that I had to pull out n use my old glasses to read small print in the store so when I changed back to new ones upon entering the Eyeglass Store my vision was again blurred. The gentleman from the eye lab asked me to give the new glasses a serious try n I agreed. No concers nor followup calls were ever made. Another week later I picked up n wore both pair of new glasses supposedly with correct prescription. Intererestng thought.. Why was the eye doctor never consulted about the accuracy of my prescription? I found them impossible to adjust to so walked into store this week, asked for and received a full refund for both pairs of useless glasses and walked out a dissatisfied customer. Im going to take their supposedly correct prescription to a new eye establishment and compare to new doctors findings. Ill let you know how that goes.

I had a great 1st visit with Dr. Vuong at Regency Eye Care inside Eyeglass World. She was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and had a great bedside manner. I was then transferred to Lorena who was super friendly and just as professional and knowledgeable as the doctor. Lorena helped me with cost and picking out my glasses which were reasonably priced. I did not feel forced to up grade or make a purchase right away. Both ladies including the gentleman (Nathan) and the other lady sorry I forgot your name that took care of myinsurance and started my eye exam all had wonderful customer service. The place was clean and safe. The whole staff took their time with me even if it was lunch time. I appreciate you all not rushing me out the door or passing me onto someone else, because picking out new glasses, is no easy task. Everyone’s customer service was very much appreciated. Thank you all so much. I can’t wait to pick up my new glasses in a couple of days 🤓

Would not recommend. Daniel the manager has horrible customer service.. We purchased 2 pairs of glasses for my husband which by the way this place is not cheap dont be fooled by the 2 for deal. The girl who was helping us didnt apply the discount they offered I had to ask to look at everything line for line that they were charging and had to show her where she didnt apply the discount. If I hadnt have dont this we would have been paying about $200 more than we did. The girl told us 1 pair should be done in a couple of days the other a little longer because they did not have the frames there. After a week of waiting I called to find out what was going on and was told there was 1 pair ready. I asked why they did not call to tell is and was told the system was not set up to notify when each pair was done. It would notify us when both were done. Which is completely ridiculous when there are Humans working there that could easily call and notify us. I then asked about a receipt for my insurance to submit and was told my husband had to go inside to get the receipt I could not get it. Which fine but when I told them the insurance was under my name and I paid for it with card and said I Mean This Is My Freaking Husband.. DANIEL the office manager hung up on me. My husband called and the same Daniel so oh yeah we just needed a verbal from you she can pick it up... Why didnt Daniel say Im sorry we cant give it to you but he can call and just get an okay from him and there settled.. nope I called to complain apparently Daniel is the Manager there. When I asked his name and asked if he was the one who hung up on me he said yes because anytime someone start to cuss on the phone... umm I didnt know freaking was a cuss word.. he wouldnt give me the District Managers number who apparently is his boss.. Horrible experience from beginning to end.

My sister and I went in today for a medical visit, would like to recognize Adriana and Alyssa for their great service! They both made us feel comfortable and did their best to make our visit pleasant!Definitely recommend working with them!

I have had the best experience here, and since I needed several pairs of glasses, plus a change following surgery, I was lucky to have their customer service numerous times! I think this is such a well managed store, with a responsive and dedicated team. Their manager and staff are remarkably conscientious and determined to meet the customers needs, and I honestly cant thank them enough for their efforts and consideration. I cant imagine going elsewhere for glasses.

I had a great experience at Eyeglass World. I had both my exam with the optometrist and a consultation with the optician here and both were speedy, efficient, and reasonably priced. The optometrist clerk was very friendly and helpful and took care of me without much wait. After I was done with the exam, they sent me to the optician with my prescription and the optician asked me what I wanted to do...buy new frames? use my current ones with new lenses? They catered to what I wanted and I did not have to endure hard sales, no nonsense, and no pressure to buy premium expensive new frames/lenses like you get at a specialty eye practice. They have a lab onsite so they had my glasses ready the next day. I am very happy with my experience here. All staff members wore masks and they made sure customers wore masks as well.

They were great with me! Everyone was so nice. I was able to get my glasses (frames and lenses) and sunglasse (just lenses) just about 170$ including 1 year warranty for my regular glasses 😁. I think thats a pretty good deal myself. Id rather go there than to the other place I was going to go to, more expensive. I was able to get both my glasses ordered them, and received two days later!!! Good experience!! If I have any issues I can always go back with them. I had no problem. My glasses are better now thank you! What a difference! 😁

I was able to get both seeing/reading and sunglassesall at a great price. I am finally able to see again. The staff was very polite and nice. The store was well kept and sterile. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy glasses.

Exam went well, I left with a pair of contacts for a reasonable price along with an updated prescription. I brought my own frames from another site and had eyeglass world make and instal the lenses. Overall it was a good deal, but they told me there was an $80 rebate. There isn’t. The “rebate” in question is a credit towards future purchases of contacts. I hardly wear contacts and my eyes need a new exam ever year, so the amount of contacts I purchased was how many I needed. When I heard the term rebate I thought, “ a bunch of mundane steps to go through in order to receive money back that I had spent”. It’s a word dispute and that’s why my review isn’t less stars. Also they said rebate and then I had to bug them by calling about it on more than one occasion, without receiving it just to find out that I wouldn’t be rebated. My advice for Eyeglass world? Steer clear of false advertising. I need 80$ more than I need to pledge to you that I’ll come back with my business.

Spent over 25 minutes on hold just trying to schedule an eye exam. Still on hold as Im typing this.UPDATEafter hanging up and immediately calling back I got on the phone with a man who was immediately able to book my appointment. Shocker.

If I could give higher than a 5 star rating I would! Every time I come to this store my son and I are met with a smile and top notch customer service! When I needed an emergency pair of glasses for my four year old son, they went out of there way to make sure we got them, even though his prescription usually can not be made the same day. You can not find a better location for your eye care needs! Thank you Eyeglass World for taking such great care of my family!

Have been coming here for a couple years now. Otherwise have had a pleasant experience, except today. Took off work mid-day to bring my daughter. I arrived 4 minutes late and was told I had to reschedule. Dont waste your time if youre a working parent. Staff worker was incredibly rude and unreasonable.

Exam was professional, quick, and kind. Sheri helped me with glasses, and was amazing! She was nice, very helpful, and sassy (in a funny amazing way). Its hard to find great customer service in Cali, but Eyeglassworld is where its at!

Had a very hectic experience, they had bad communication, too many problems. Paid over 400 to get two pair of glasses that took forever to get because they messed up my prescription and it took two visits for them to realize. They also messed up my contact lenses trials. Had to cancel.

I lost my glasses in the Pacific ocean at about 4:30 pm. I was told by eyeglass world if I got an eye exam and the script to them by 5:30pm they could hopefully get me a pair of glasses the same day, since I had to go back to Colorado the next day...and they did, despite me even getting there after 530. Thank you to Sherry and Tiarra for helping me get my glasses so I can drive my family back home. PS- Dont wear your glasses in the ocean :)

This place is by far the one store you want to avoid. Do not get your eyes examined by the, I am going to be very carefully how I describe the one QUACK that gave me not one but TWO INCORRECT PRESCRIPTIONS FOR MY GLASSES, Doctor. I wonder if he was licensed? They offer the choice of Very poor quality lens,or really poor plastic lens and the frames are equally as inferior. At a wonderful bargain price. The degree of service like: being told the truth, given a fair and honest price, and a actual guarantee that the glasses were going to CHANGE MY VISION for the better, was never there. Im sorry but I am giving you the HONEST TRUTH of my nightmare encounter there. Maybe wearing a fishbowl over your head works for you, and I see from your reviews, it does. Spend the $200 dollars and get a real Optometrists exam and fitting. Get precision ground lens and come back and tell me your glasses you OVERPAID FOR are this great bargain you are claiming. No youre going to want your money back, just like I did. I made Eyeglass World pay for a third exam, from a real Optometrists office and 9 pair of glasses and they never even got any of the 9 pair of glasses made correctly. Now thats just sad. They removed my first reviews. Figured they would continue to deceive the customers of the real truth. Beware of the BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS. EYEGLASS WORLD does it to every customer. They did it to me, 3 TIMES AND EVEN AFTER WE HAD AGREED TO new glasses with frames I wanted. I got these LUCKY BOY frames that were as cheap as the plastic jug they were recycled from. Yes I got shafted by this company and so have a lot of others. But you keep coming back and getting your FISHBOWLS. This place is bad news.

I had an excellent experience at Eyeglass World. I was asked some questions to determine my risk of being COVID-19 positive, my temperature was taken, then I was given some paperwork to fill out. I did arrive a few minutes late, but thankfully I was still able to be seen. The optometrists assistant was very nice. She conducted two tests before seeing the doctor. Dr. Vuong is awesome. Her bedside manner is great. She listened to my concerns and laughed at my jokes. Plus shes beautiful, BONUS!After my eye exam Shari helped me pick two pairs of glasses. She totally helped me jump out of my comfort zone. Shari is a blast. If you dont like to have fun or be a decent person, or enjoy an excellent retail experience, dont mess with Shari. She takes her job seriously and will go out of her way to make sure you get exactly what you need at a very fair price. Plus, you might even get same day service. I highly recommend this place. Plus Dr. V and Shari make it a great experience.EXTRA BONUS: If you are afraid of COVID and cleanliness, this place is constantly wiped down. They wont let you in if youre a COVID risk.

I came here for a routine eye exam, Dr. Was very thorough and glass frame selection is great and affordable. Service was good, I was seen right away and someone walked me through my lens options shortly after my appointment. Received my glasses a few days later. I was so pleased with my experience that I brought my grandmother a few months later for her routine eye exam, and the Dr. Again was very thorough, so thorough in fact that he noticed something unusual and referred us to a specialist where my grandmother was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to get emergency surgery. In other words, they saved her life. I am eternally greatful and absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

This place is AWESOME! My four year old grandson had a glasses emergency today. They were so professional and friendly! They took care of the situation in one day and my grandson is happy and in the see again. Thank you Sherry and Nathan for taking such good care of my family!

Do not waste your time. They will tell you to come in and they can fix your glasses. Then the snobby tech will refuse. I then tried to just buy another pair but of course, even though their inventory in the computer says they have two more pairs they can’t actually find them anywhere in the store. So in order to get a new pair I would also have to buy new lenses too! I was not offered the option of ordering in another pair of the exact same frames I have. The best advice I got was go to ANOTHER store that they do not own to get them repaired. I will NOT be back. Absolutely ridiculous! I guess I will just super glue them and find another place to bring my business to !

This turned out to be a much quicker, cheaper and easier trip than I expected. I came in to replace a missing screw from my sunglasses, and was immediately greeted and assisted. I was expecting to pay 5 bucks and wait 10 minutes - instead, I paid nothing and waited 2 minutes. I was even given a microfiber cleaning towel, would recommend to anyone looking to save money and time without foregoing quality.

Do NOT get an eye exam here. The optometrist has a God like complex and insists the staff and patients refer to him as doctor despite the fact that he is in no way an eye doctor. He is not an ophthalmologist, did not go to medical school and does not know anything outside of the very basics of an eye exam. However, he pretends to be an expert in all fields and all medication despite zero training or ability to prescribe outside of basic contacts and glasses. Overall an egotistical know it all who will prey on peoples lack of knowledge of the field or medicine. Better off going to Costco or Walmart because getting care under someone who does not know their limits can be very dangerous.

We were 10 min late. The appt was cancelled after we were 5 minutes late. Our fault that we were Late but it brought to my attention that appts are scheduled every 15 min. What can you do in 15 min?

My eye glasses broke. I went to LensCrafters where I normally go...they didnt acknowledge me when I walked into the store and werent friendly when I approached a staff member. I left and tried Eyeglass world. They acknowledged me immediately and fixed my glasses within two minutes, free of charge. Ive found my new place for any future eye glass needs!

This place is awesome!!! Wide selection of frames and lenses. Even their designer frames are very reasonable. The 2 for one deal allowed me to get an additional pair of sunglasses!!! I called before going in to get some information. I spoke with Jill and she was so helpful! When I arrived I was greeted by Hermila who would help me with my glasses. As we were speaking, Jill came over and asked me if I was Magi and I said yes... she introduced herself and assured me I was in good hands with Hermila. Hermila was so sweet and helpful. She helped me pick out awesome glasses! I never felt rushed through the whole process. I love this place and I will go back when I need glasses again. I recommend Eyeglass World very highly!!!

When I called Eyeglass World to book an eye checkup, the staff said the checkup was covered by my vision insurance. Then when I got there they claimed they couldnt confirm my benefits with Blue Cross PPO, Bluecare, When I showed them my card and called Blue Crosss they then claimed only certain locations took Blue Cross. The staff tried to force me to pay up front and then submit to insurance for myself. I refused and left. This is a deceptive bait and switch tactic. I will avoid this company in the future.

I have had vison issues my whole life. Its quite difficult to function with out corrective lens -7 astigmatism with myopia on right eye 😢Unfortunately my lens were broke. The eueglass world store in vista helped me so much. They were sincere and kind. They realized i an unable to function on the simplest of levels with out corrective wear. My lens are expensive and hard to cut and it usually takes almost 2 weeks ANYWHERE to get replaced. These people had them ordered and they Personally delivered them to my frint door. Today that is a 5 day turn around completly. On my eye care order. With the best persinal service i have ever received. I wiuld recommend EYEGLASS WORLD TO EVERYBODY.
