This is a beautiful door system. Ours is a sliding glass system that is 18ft long. We have had one problem after another trying to get the system fixed. We had to replace 2 panels and that took 5 months for them. Now the trim is pulling loose and the doors on one side dont slide properly.

DONT BUY LACANTINA DOORS! I do not recommend anyone designing your project or buying LaCantina Doors. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with when it comes to customer service. I placed my order weeks ago and I still dont have a delivery date. Every time I call the company to get an update, I simply just get transferred to different departments and no one seems to know the status of my order. If you want to avoid a lot of frustration and delays to your project, I would highly recommend you buy from a different manufacturer who offer comparable doors. Believe me, you will be so frustrated that you will wish you would have chosen someone else.

Todays Client Frank was entertaining when his La cantina sliding door malfunctioned. He called and requested I come at 730pm because he could not close his 15 foot sliding door that faces his street 3266 Trumbull St, in Pt. Loma CA. 92106when I arrived I found a few minor problems that should have been avoided at the manufacturers facility before shipping.the interlockers were bent from the back stop (which is totally inadequate for stopping a 350 pound glass door from by bypassing the second of 3 panels and into the pocket.)the original tracking is made in multiple parts leaving pieced together tracking, this is not considered proper in the industry by companies currently manufacturing Luxury level, Custom Multi sliding Doors like Fleetwood Aluminum Sliding Doors or perhaps Weiland Sliding DoorsAs a service professional in the sliding door service and repair industry I can not recommend La cantina products because of inability to purchase replacement parts in a timely manor.I recommend using a company with a record of service and quality of product that will suit your needs and not make you unhappy like so many La cantina customers areMy Client is building his dream home and his Architect included La cantina folding doors in the design.unfortunatly for my client he hired the wrong company to install the doors and after much anxiety the client contacted me through a referal to help remedy the trouble with the La cantina folding doors.the doors are made beautifully and now are in need of repair and reinstallation to achieve the $25000.00 results he was expecting.I contacted the service manager Erin and attempted to explain the trouble with the doors.he continued to interrupt me and belittle my experience even going so far as to call me belligerent names.Erin told me the doors are not covered under warranty because I am working on them and he has no interest in assisting me to help his La cantina customer.if Richard the contractor needs help with his doors he should contact his dealer. His dealer the Pelletier company does not do installations or service of this type so they are unable to assist.this seems to me an unreasonable response to a customer who thought he was purchasing Luxury level folding doors made by La cantina with expectations of them working as designedI was told La Cantina has the lowest service rating industry wide in the luxury level or architectural grade folding doorsto recap my attempt to request help from La cantina and the Pelletier company was limited to standard technical shop drawings already produced and in a file, and hardware components to replaced the damaged ones to restore the doors to their new condition.I received wrong information for products no longer fabricated or manufactured a La cantina folding doors.I never received the parts requested and my customers job is stalled now going on week 3 and he is so unhappy about it for no other reason than La cantina in not interested in helping to supply the requested materials.until they learn to service their unhappy clients I recommend you choose other options like Fleetwood Aluminum or Southland Windows or even Andersen for your projects if you want to avoid anxiety and unhappiness in your project.

Been trying to get this company to repair our very expensive folding doors for 7 months. They’re claiming they’re down to 5% staff, yet they’re still manufacturing new doors for new customers. Our builder stopped using them due to our job, and he thinks they’re going under. I would not recommend them based on their inability to warranty their work.

I am trying to order 2 doors; $14000 and $16000. No one will take my order. Im a builder....I cant imagine if I were to have a problem. Meeting with architect tomorrow to go a different direction. I hate businesses like this. It doesnt have to be this hard.

We had their folding door system installed a number of year back and they have been great up until we had an issue with them. Their warranty/service department couldnt be less helpful. Given they are a unique product that they manufacture that has the cost of a small car - you would think they would offer some level of service when thier was an issue.

I researched many options for our guest/pool house before choosing the accordion doors for a 15 ft. Opening. We have been very disappointed in our $20,000 investment. For the second time in two years we had two service people here yesterday. They are represented by Pella so we thought this was the right choice. Even the service reps techs don’t know what to do to keep our door functioning. They said they would be contacting LaCantina for advice. Basically, it’s a bad design. With so many homeowners wanting to open their homes to the outdoors there should be better choices. I would not chose La Cantina.

Guess what, this company is pretty much a monopoly and act like one. They don’t have solid competition so their prices are kept high. I am not complaining about the price because I don’t mind paying for quality. I am just upset that I paid close to $10K for a door and it is impossible to get ahold of a sales rep. The door was delivered and I had some issues with the screen ($1000+). It just wouldn’t fit because you really need an 8inch thick wall of it is going to be flush. I just wanted to talk to a rep about potentially returning the screen which is a totally separate component. I purchased the most generic 9ft white door which I am sure they sell 100 of every month and could have easily been resold, and I was open to a restocking fee. Their sales team (Christian?) wouldn’t even return one of my 3+ calls or text messages. It makes me really nervous about what is going to happen if I have any issues with the door in a year or two and have to call their customer service. So I guess we are installing the screen because nobody @ La Cantina could even talk to us about a solution or options.

We could not be more pleased. Josh with La Cantina took the time to listen to our experience, with Pelletier, did the research, and proposed a more than reasonable solution. The professional factory technicians came to our home and addressed the issues with no disruption to the construction timeline. Everyone concerned, from La Cantina, exhibited care to ensure a quality outcome. After months of excuses from the distributor, Pelletier, as to why I could not have the window as depicted in the La Cantina Factory Showroom, Josh and the La Cantina team stepped in and addressed the matter ensuring that we recieved what had been ordered. Thank you to Josh and the La Cantina Team.

Most customers who purchased LaCantina Doors or LaCantina Folding Doors & Sliding Doors regret having been sold LaCantina because of poor judgement and lack of working policies on the part of LaCantina management and service personnel.During the sales process your made to believe, Dont Worry these are awesome Sliding and Folding Doors.Thats true. but human error and misunderstanding require policies that work for the customer/builder.LaCantina employees remind me of keystone coppers or even better like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (AOC) not a clue about how to service repeat problems that occur every day. all of the service troubles they have are avoidable. What a bunch of Knuckle HeadsI am working for a General Contractor at the address of 4944 35th St. in San Diego. the customers knowledge of Architectural Grade or Luxury Folding Doors is only what the lacantina dealership told him.as a result the doors were installed improperly and not covered under any warranty.Richard understands that and just wanted his project moving again since the stucco and drywall have now stalled and are holding up the job.I was able to address most of the problems except for the hardware needed from lacantina.1 track 12 feet long lacantina has thousands of feet in stock on the racks.and 1 bottom roller carriage another item on the shelf at lacantina.I begged Aaron the service manager to allow me to come get the items to get Richards job back on track but he told me if I touched the doors they are no longer covered under warranty nor will they be motivated to help Richard at his project at 4944 35th St. in san Diegobased on my experience and the fact I see lacantina doors regularly because of serious service and repair issues.I recommend you look to a more customer oriented and service friendly manufacturer like Fleetwood Aluminum or Southland Windows or Jeldwen.I hope this can help you avoid the same headaches as so many other unfortunate lacantina folding door customersbest regardsDennis

We installed La Cantina doors 3 1/2 years ago. They are beautiful and for that we give them 4 + stars but the service we have received has been absolutely terrible since we installed them. We continue to have issues closing our doors and locking them if they heat up at all (which is often in San Diego) and in fact they are practically impossible to lock if they are warm. We would NEVER order these doors again. UPDATE: We finally got a technician out to look at our problem and really analyze it. He came up with an excellent solution and in fact the technician was timely and very helpful. The solution to our problem is working well - not perfectly but a good solution to a very challenging solution. We appreciate that La Cantina finally sent out someone who was knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly committed to helping us.

Bought 4 steel/glass doors. Took forever with no ability to get a delivery date from them. When the doors arrived several months later the holes in the door jambs didnt line up with the hinges. After countless further delays with no information they sent new jambs with no holes for the hinges so that work had to be done on site. The locking mechanism on the doors is also really crappy. Feels like a cheap deadbolt that home depot would never even sell. So far Im not even able to get the doors to lock consistently.Would never buy any product from this company.

La Cantina has a terrible customer service. They did not take charge of their responsibility for not reading my order correctly. Their sense of urgency is replacing the wrong parts in 7-8 weeks, this is after delivering the doors 4 week later than quoted. Both the retailer Priority Doors and Windows in San Diego and La Cantina have been totally disrespecting to us and not resolving the issue immediately. The were quick to take the payment in full and never came out to the project siteQuality is as good as the company and so far La Cantina is service is not of quality, I just hope to never has issues because they do not stand by their service.
