Pretty standard Goodwill experience here. Parking at this location is nice. The store is pretty well spread out and not too crowded. Its always fairly clean and organized.
Hello I spoke to the manager of this location and she was very nasty, yelling, I had purchased an item and when I got home an opened it the individual who donated it stated on the inside of the lid that there were pieces missing. I didn’t want a refund just to exchange for a similar item the same price, & she couldn’t even help me with that she just got louder and louder on the phone. Stay away from this goodwill, manager works for a company that suppose to better the community, give individuals opportunity but shows no customer care. Will never donate or shop here ever again.
If you want to donate your goods to a donation area nearly impossible to find, with a separate obscure road entrance from the main shopping center which is also an unlabeled one way to a door whose view is blocked by dumpsters, only to be welcomed by a crabby white guy with shoulder length curly hair, by all means donate here. OR do like me and donate elsewhere in the future.
So.... this place dumps out perfectly usable household items which arent trash at all. Those things could actually be going to lower income families, the homeless, or even homeless shelters for free. And they claim to better the community for all? SMH. Lies.
The workers treated me with great respect thanks to manager Marshall Miller who went extra mile assisting me with all my purchases into my car. Odenten goodwill is exceptional when it comes hardworking staff who goes extra mile to help customers. Thank you goodwill.
They make donating at this location so difficult even though they are literally profiting off of the stuff I’m trying to donate. Do not recommend. Go to the Salvation Army donation center in Jessup. They open earlier and have a much better model for helping people out!
Great selection, super nice staff. Love Senior Discount day!!
Alot of broken junk. Not worth going unless tou want some used shoes and clothing.
No donations Monday and Tuesday it would have been helpful to know that before I drove down here
You know..this Items. Use and new the customer service a great all the time show big smile to the customers..definitely Im recommend
I found AMAZING things for so cheap. But the highlight of my goodwill trip was the woman who helped me check out. She was so sweet and genuine, I got such good vibes from her. I dont know her name, but she had green hair. That woman deserves a raise, she was wonderful & very efficient. :)
Not a lot of merchandise. Shoes disorganized.
Clean, calm, organized, spacious, with polite and helpful staff. Overall, a great experience. Only docking one star since the staff seemed overworked. They were still friendly and helpful to customers, but there were too few of them and they had all been working very long hours. They could have used a break. It would have helped their morale.Like this review? Give a 👍
The reason I am only giving two stars is that there is always trash and debris on the exterior by donation drop off. Not a good look for the neighborhood.
You can always find some good deals
Decent selection but extremely poor organization. Tried helping my wife shop for clothes. They very obviously do not organize anything by size even though they have the different size sections marked on the racks. Im sure a good portion of the issue is customers just not putting stuff back where they found it but its very clear that neither do the employees. What shouldve been a 15 minute trip turned into an hour just because we literally had to go through EVERY rack just to find her size. Ridiculous.
Poor customer service. There was a bell at one of the cashier’s station, that said “Ring for Cashier”, since there was no cashier around and I was waiting for 5 minutes or so to be helped, and I didn’t see anyone around, I rung the bell. One of the cashier’s comes up and says don’t ring that bell...he seemed very irritated and unfriendly...if I wasn’t supposed to ring it why would you put it there? Overall, not a good experience.
Nice store. Pretty big. Decent selection.
Its one of my favorite Goodwill stores. I always pick up a few good things there. Staff if very friendly.
First time here.. Very clean and organized.. Some good stuff here..👍
The most greedy goodwill ever. They get things for free and sell them for almost full price. Manager is horrible. Wasn’t the point of GOODwill to help people who can’t afford clothing and house hold items? Shop here if u want a pair of used Nike’s for $30. Unbelievable how greed has taken over this corporation.
This is the absolute worst Goodwill. They sell broken, used items that they received as a donation for sometimes double what the price wouldve been new. No exchanges either, even if what you received was broken. The manager is extremely rude and lacks all compassion. This is a Bad-will. They do not care about those in need.
Im a frequent customer at this location and I would like to say that it was obvious the store was under new management. It was more organized and cleaner than it was before. The manager was very professional and helpful. My family and I enjoy the shopping experience here. Thank you Goodwill!
I recently started shopping at several Goodwill stores and i must say that this one takes the prize in my book for the cleanest, friendliest, an outstanding selection of womens shoes and clothes, great prices (way better that consignment shops) it was very organized and had a better selection of items to choose from. Even the furniture was very good quality for the prices. 3 floor employees smiled and spoke to me and my husband was very helpful too.The inventory employees are also doing a great job in filtering through the donations for quality newness in the items for the store sales. We will definitely return!
This is my favorite location for inventory and for prices. Im so happy thats its located so close to where I live. I know where nearly all the Goodwill/thrift store/salvation army store fronts are near where I live. This location, here in Odenton, is the best! Very organized, great selection, friendly staff.
The most organized clean Goodwill I’ve ever been to. The employees are extremely kind and helpful. The prices are actually very reasonable. Definitely worth the a visit for serious thrifters.
Clean aisles & pretty organized, will be back for artwork
Great goodwill. But as of today 5/23/20 it is closed till further notice.
Unorganized compared to other thrift stores and way over priced.
The most organized goodwill Ive been to. Always find good quality items and not just junk. I have found awesome name brand clothes, home decor and I even found a leather Coach purse.
I love this location! Clothes were arranged by size and were pretty decently in order. Found some great stuff. The person working the checkout was very friendly. I was glad I stopped in!
Nice but prices were a little high. Got Vera Bradley purse fire $11. Have seen them cheaper at other thrift stores. Overall, very neat and organized. Most items were good quality.
Prices are high, high, high. If there is a name brand item the prices are raised, if you shop at the outlets you can snag a new item for the same price. The store is moderately organized. Compared to others this one has a much better smell. Cashiers are not allowed to remove items, once something has been rung up, if you change your mind or a mistake was made, you will have to wait for a manager to come to the register. No returns, not even for store credit. So moms out there shappoing for you children and they are not with you beware, you are stuck with it. Staff is mostly friendly.Covid update..Dressing rooms are still not open. Returns are only acceptable for 48 hours on electronics and clothing, however, the management seem to be getting frustrated by doing returns as today the management literally huffed when I told him I had a return. The store is slowly growing to an unorganized state and prices are continuing to grow on name brand clothing. Better off going to platos closet if you are looking for names.Update March 3,21No no no goodwill, shame on you. They are now separating boutique items. Which in normally fine. But the condition is worn and out of style. Items with what they think are of high value are way overpriced.I donated a pair of my husbands old nikes. They were worn, color was peeling from the soles were being sold for 30.00. Crazy someone could have used them for 5 or even 10. 00 would have been OK.Even the cashier said she thinks the management and back workers are gouging prices.Cashiers are not tending to the checkout areas. Many times you have to find someone to check you out.Very disappointed in the direction this location is taking.Make your own opinions.
Well stocked, well ( at times obsessively) arranged, clean, courteous staff. We worth your time here and you can always find something useful.
Prices are a bit high compared to other Goodwill locations, but they offer a military discount, and Im super grateful for that! The store is decorated beautifully and really makes me want to buy things that I never would have considered buying.
Big ole baby manning the donation door. Couldn’t even form his lips to say hi or thank you or would you like a receipt.
Found bedbugs on clothing before getting it to my car. Thought it might be a tick or a louse or something but looked it up. Definitely a bedbug.
Staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. Lots of great finds!
They recently hired new staff who dont upkeep the place very well. We used to go all the time for their Target handmedowns but its honestly a disorganized mess now. Noticed the checkout counter was empty for a good 10-15 minutes without anyone in the front tonight when we went. Someone had to ring for the bell for someone and even then no one came for several minutes.
Quiet, found what i needed
Very clean and organized! The best Goodwill in the area, hands down.
Very organized when first opened. Disorganized today .looked like junk store. Stuff every where. Over crowed.
My first time in this location..., clean, well organized, friendly staff! I’ll be back!💯
The staff is friendly but was disappointed in their prices. Items that were from the dollar store were marked twice as much or higher. Also, noted that they give a discount after every fifth purchase when you enter you Mobile phone number. They assume everyone has a cell phone? Folks without a cell phone cannot earn a discount? Seems Goodwill has become a little greedy, considering their merchandise is all from donations. I donate to Purple ❤.
Great labels lightly or never worn . Totaly Retro cloths! Not much for jewelry, nice staff, always willing to answer questions or help understand clothing fabrics, clean in ng care etc..I love this store, visit Odenton zrd location, everything is fantastic?Hope to see you in my Shopping Centre.
Cute little bar with great music and cool bartenders 😁
It’s clean, organized. Staff is very friendly.
NO MORE $ 1 dollar sale on sundays, NOooo Gooood!!!!!!!!!. The store is very expensive.
This Goodwill does not have the color specials and also doesnt have the Capitol one discount. Shopping here is like shopping at Ross. You should just go buy it new
What a disorganized mess.
Good will stord!
Employees were very loud especially the manager they were carrying on what customers are in the store very unprofessional and the manager was the worst
Friendly and helpful staff.
Nice, clean, and friendly staff!
Good stuff, good staff
Great
Quality merchandise
Great wounderful
Friendly staff.
Overpriced
Called to ask about donating. Lady was very rude and hung up the phone. Get better people to work and answer when people are trying to be helpful and donate items.
