I love Aldis but when I went today a lot of items were close to expiration date and I had several items that were more than the price on the front tag!

Many good organic products-fruit, veggies, prepared frozen meals, meats, fish, eggs, milk, cereal and bread products.Many unusual products imported from Germany-excellent quality. So many seasonal items as well. I love Aldis!

The cashier named Joey who I talked to was very nice. Clean store, found everything I needed. If I ever head out that way again Ill stop by.

Just bring your own bags. The options are good, just be sure to be a good comparison shopper when you make your choices.

I went into the Ogdensburg Aldi looking for a tapioca product but couldnt find it. I couldnt find any at three other local stores either. But, I did find some delightful and delicious fresh fruit.

There meat is hit a higher price but so has all the other stores . people out of jobs and people that are working cant afford these prices even people getting food stamps feel the prices. To me this is just to much cant pay bills and put food on table and keep car on the road lights on heat bill. And any other bills we all have. So if you want my point a veiw the government needs to stop all bills till we are over this then we can get back on our feet.

This is THEE place to go for the best price on Butterball turkeys. We buy 3 at a time there to stock our freezer. Compared to Ontario, its less than half the price for a regular turkey, and youre buying Butterball ones. We never could afford Butterball turkeys in Ontario, but now we can have them regularly buying them at Aldis!

They are a very good choice to save money. Their produce is very reasonable as well as very good quality. We go there at least once a week. We really like price chopper but their produce is ungodly expensive for what is compared to aldi.

If youre ever in the states and youre looking to grocery shop this place is ridiculously cheap and when I mean cheap Im talking fresh boneless skinless chicken breast for a dollar 29 to a dollar 49 a pound crazy. Even with your exchange youre still looking at $2 a pound Canadian.You cant buy chicken feet at Oceans for that much,

This place is the most reasonable to shop for groceries. They also have other things besides groceries they have miscellaneous items. They are very friendly also there.

Interestingly they use the same layout and concept as in Germany. You can find some interesting food and drink products here, some at a good price.

I love Aldi. Their prices are great. Just be sure to know that much of the dry goods are packaged to look very much like genuine products - they are just as good, but off course their cake mix brand will be cheaper than Betty Crockers. Chicken, milk and eggs are super inexpensive there.

I love Aldi and have shopped there since they came to town. I have always been treated with a smile and friendly, fast service. However, today I had a very maddening experience. A clerk was called to help cash out. Ann. She was very rude and when I got upset she changed her tune. I never said anything to her....I just got quiet. She has been and still is rude when she has to run a register. It is very beneath her.

They had twin xl sheets and comforters along with twin xl blankets u could buy for college at less expensive prices than the big box stores and the quality is just as good. The blankets are the super soft wrap yourself up in material. Way to Aldi for stepping up your items.

Why isnt ALDI in Canada. Best supermarket ever...

Aldi is a large chain of discount supermarkets from Germany. If you travel to Germany or central Europe, you will find these stores easily. I am glad to see that they have a presence in the USA --- and I regret that they do not have stores in Canada. But I drive down to their Ogdensburg NY location a few times a year.This is a very different grocery-store in terms of layout from the typical North American supermarkets, and it is smaller in size. But Aldi offers a lot of German and European goods that are otherwise hard to find in the US and Canada. Examples include dark German chocolate with hazelnuts, sweet flan-brioche bread imported from France, lots of other European desserts as well as authentic Bratwurst sausages made in Bavaria. And while they have a good selection of frozen meats as well as prepared items in fridges, Aldi would not be my source for fresh produce (fruits/veggies).But in the end, given that they offer otherwise un-obtainable European delicacies (at very reasonable prices), I know that I will be a repeat customer there soon -- and I highly recommend a visit.
