With every one of my eye appointments, Dr. Roth has consistently been extremely thorough. I especially appreciate his focus on preventative care. I have great peace of mind that as I age, he’ll be watching out for potential age-related issues that may develop with my eyes. Both he and his staff are exceptionally courteous and professional.

Dr Roth is patient, listens, analyzes, explains and most of all prescribes the right fixes that are needed. I highly recommend this Doctor and his entire operation (yes I bought glasses from them as well). And BTW, there is no relation!

Family Eye Care is hands down the best optometrist I have ever been to. We were referred to Family Eye Care by my daughters teacher and decided to bring her in for an evolution. From start to finish, they were nothing short of professional, caring and accommodating. The entire staff is super nice and very easy to work and communicate with. The examination process is extremely thorough! If you are looking for a great experience, I highly recommend Family Eye Care.

We had appointment for 1:30 pm today for my two granddaughters I was there at 1:25pm. We were asked to wait for few minutes. Three more patients walked in for 1:45 & 2:15 appointments. They took all of them before us and when i asked at 2:15 they said some one will be with us shortly. One of my granddaughter is two years old and the other is one is six years old. Both of them were getting frustrated. Finally we left the place at 2:35pm without seeing doctor. I have never seen this kind of treatment at any doctors office. Was this because of our skin color? I am going to pursue this with medical board and all higher authority. Even they are always reluctant to give you prescription for glasses and would compel you to buy glasses from them only. I would give them no star and would advice others to be careful about their practice.

Staff is welcoming and friendly. They explained what each test was and why it was necessary. Dr. Roth was personable, and thorough. He made sure I understood what he was saying and gave me all the documents I needed so I could read things over and ask followup questions.

I took my 8 year-old son for a consultation of ortho-K treatment. He was given an absolutely thorough eye exam, first by a highly attentive and professional nurse, then by Dr. Roth. Dr. Roth provided us very candid and insightful opinion on my sons near-sightedness. The charges for the exam and follow-up treatment were very reasonable and were well explained and understood. We look forward to coming back and seeking further help from Dr. Roth to correct my sons eyesight.

Recently went there for an eye exam and was very disappointed with Dr. Moshe. I felt like I was working with a car salesman instead of an eye doctor. If a patient chooses not to add extra services (out of pocket expenses,) that’s their choice. A doctor should not pressure patients into services that aren’t covered by their insurance. I was very uncomfortable when I told him I would have to think about the out of pocket expenses. Won’t be seeing him again!

Everyone at the facility was extremely nice, thorough and professional and were making sure that all the seating areas and equipment you come in contact with were sanitized. Dr. Roth was obviously very knowledgeable but somewhat dismissive as he cut me off and asked another question as I was answering one he had just asked me.

Worst office. I called and the first thing I asked was if they accept my insurance and CLEARLY told them the name of my insurance I had and the lady said yes we accept it. Gave me an appointment 1 month later and on the day off I called to confirm the time that I’m coming in and the lady said we don’t accept your insurance. Like couldn’t they have told me 1 month earlier when the first question I asked is if they accept my insurance. Wasted my time on this careless office. Would never recommend

I visited Family Eye Care for the first time and I am very pleased with the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The technician who ran my eye tests is very knowledgeable. She was training another person and I heard her explaining everything in detail. After the tests were done, Dr. Roth came in. He did more tests and explained everything to me. I am the kind of person who asks a lot of questions. I need to know everything. I know that some people are annoyed by my need to know things, but Dr. Roth answered all my questions with ease.

I had a great experience at Family Eye Care. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I got called into work during my first appointment and had to leave in a hurry - the staff adjusted and helped me rush off to work in time while maintaining the integrity of my appointment. I had a follow up appointment a few weeks later where I was able to discuss my eye care in more depth than I have at any other establishment. I picked out new glasses with help from the women at the front desk. I’ve never had such clear vision than with my new glasses and contacts!!!!

Dr. Roth did a great job a diagnosing me with a foreign body issue in my eye. Immediately was able to receive treatment and no medication was required.

Family Eye Care in Old Bridge, NJ gave me a very thorough eye exam and Dr. Roth took the time to address the concerns that I had involving my eye condition. I initially came in to find out about syntonic phototherapy in hopes that it may help improve my condition (nystagmus). I plan on beginning my SP in a few days. Hoping that I will see an improvement.

Dr Roth is extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable. He has great inter-personal skills I saw him two years ago for an eye infection that he treated me for before my trip to London and Paris. I came back for an annual eye exam and was very pleased. I have had only excellent experiences since I have been coming to the Family Eye Center. Everyone is helpful, courteous and understanding. Dr. Roths examinations are thorough and he makes sure he has answered any questions I may have after each appointment. The drive is easy and the office is right off the highway. The line of eyeglasses they carry is quite extensive. I was able to find distance and reading glasses that were a perfect fit.

Dr. Steffani Tiomno was great with my eye exam and testing. I was given my prescription for contact lenses and hoped for a prescription for my glasses but that was forgotten. The contact lens fitting fee is $65. This is more expensive than what I used to paying elsewhere and didnt realize the price difference but that doesnt have anything to do with Dr. Tiomnos level of care. She was very knowledgeable about my eye condition and was eager to provide ways of correcting it.Update: It is still not going well. In fact, it has gotten worse. I am extremely frustrated with this practice. I finally got my glasses prescription and decided to order glasses from there. Huge mistake. The lenses are awful. No one wanted to take the time to talk to me about the best frames for my prescription. I am eager to get a completely different pair from somewhere else.

I love Family Eye Care💗 Today was my first visit. From the moment I walked in, Adriana and Grace were so pleasant and helpful. I had a problem with my insurance and the girls made sure it was solved! Brittany took me to 3 different rooms all of which are well organized and contain top of the line equipment to examine my eyes. She is sweet, kind and knowledgeable. Jamie collected me next to see Dr. Roth. He is precise and explained my eye problems thoroughly. Wonderful doctor! Then off to choose my new frames. Overall, the office is a well oiled machine and would give them 100 stars instead of only 5 for this review!! Go and see these fantastic people to have your eyes examined. You will be glad you did, just like me!

I got robbed! After seeing some positive reviews online, I booked an appt. for a cosmetic contact lens consultation. A prosthetic lens which would correct scarring in the whites of one of my eyes. Its a thing. I went to the first visit and was told that they would do the consultation on the 2nd visit, that he first visit was just an exam. $245.Oooookay. They were aware that Id travelled a long way to their office. In the interim I ended up cancelling 2 appts to actually get the consultation, I run my own business and could not get away. One of the receptionists became very surly about this. Today I went to the 2nd appt. Come to find out, this doctor has no solution for me. Thats right, he spent 5 minutes examining my eye for the contact and told me to wait 30 minutes while he called is lab. Guess what? His lab cannot produce anything that would work for me. he told me that he could not produce anything to cover the scar but that something partial would be $4,200 and that todays visit was another $250. Wait... what? Moshe, could you not have determined that you could not help me on the first visit? He knew it was foul; as a matter of fact he followed me down the hall to reception to make sure I paid the $245. I did. What did I get for nearly $500? NOTHING. Zero. Zip. Nada. The unprofessional receptionist, aware that I had been robbed of time and money says have a nice trip back derisively. Yuk. I dont care about haters, I care about being swindled out of $500. All I can do now is write this review in hope that others will avoid this fate. Choose a care provider that cares.

The entire staff was courteous and professional. The intern did a thorough exam and explain everything she was doing as we moved through the process. Great doctors are hard to find. I was so glad to find such a great doctor, so close to home. They performed thorough examinations and fully understood each of my children’s needs and personalities before completing each exam. I highly recommend these doctors for top notch care.

The initial shopping mall location did not cause a good impression at first, but it is understood. not being from NJ does that to me. The front desk staff is courteous and patient and answer questions promptly and in a knowledgeable fashion. the assisting staff is careful and very thorough. the initial examination/evaluation took about 1h 15m and the non-common evaluations took about another 45m. There is plenty of investigative testing done and the suggestions are clear and concise. I was impressed by the many things that are within the reach of doctors these days and here I felt as if I were in a university lab. Lots of unusual evaluations that may be very objective, but it gives a sense of having a doctor that knows what he is doing. I needed someone to think outside the box and I think I have gotten just that here. I am coming for some of the therapies suggested.

Dr. Roth and his staff are kind and experienced with children on the spectrum. I was very pleased with the care my son received and looking forward to our next visit.

Wow is all I can say !!!! Talk about thorough. Last year I suffered a stroke I returned to work but was still having issues. Was referred to Dr. Roth by my neurologist. He did a thorough exam and he then diagnosed that I had glaucoma. I had an eye exam when I was in sub acute rehab for my stroke and they said it was normal. I also went for new glasses at another place before I returned to work again was told I had a normal exam. He is a wonderful and caring doctor and i highly recommend to have an exam done by him he is really thorough and explains everything so you can understand.
