I had Lincare years ago and had many problems with them. After my insurance decided to change and would no longer accept my other provider I am back to Lincare. I received 6 tanks and thought I was good to go until I found out that two of them were empty! I called and got no apology. Stuck in my house now for 6 days until I can get them to deliver more!

I am absolutely so frustrated with Lincare’s billing department! I have been with them for about 17 years. My first bad experience happened over 10 years ago when I moved and I never got a bill after that and after a couple of years or so I got a collection letter for a high amount and I called and asked why and they said they still had my old address on file so supposedly they were sending my bills to my old address and I never got them! And I had called to update my address AND they were shipping my supplies to my NEW address!!Then a couple of weeks ago I called to order my supplies and I said “I have a question, I got a collection letter for $6. and change so she transferred me to the billing department and I told her the same thing and she said, “oh you owe a lot more than that, you owe $1100! So I said WHY haven’t I been getting bills for this every month and she told me that the insurance co didn’t notify them of my portion until a few days ago. Remember I called them!?!?! So I asked for amounts, dates, etc and asked IF they could please send me a statement, then I called my insurance co and asked them and guess what! They were billed every month and every month they had my portion sent to them, so why haven’t I EVER received a bill?? So I asked, did you email it to me and she said no. So MY credit is dinged because they couldn’t bother to send me a bill every month, or ever?!?! So now I have statements from my insurance company and from Lincare to go through for the last year and a half, I am NOT happy! Not only will I be looking for another company to get my supplies from, they will be getting $5 a month for however long until it’s paid off! Don’t use this company!!
My doctor ordered a piece of equipment for me nearly 2 weeks ago. I called three times last week and was told that the ONLY person who could help me was out of the office. Today I finally get in touch with that person and am told that my doctor did not send a prescription, only my information. I do not think that is true, and Id it was, wouldnt you think they would contact the doctor? Or at least return my call after I called 3 times. Walmart has the equipment I need. I will just get it from there.
