I had a wonderful experience at this store. I have been to other (5 star) stores in the Olympia area, with great disappointment. Music and Arts is the most helpful and friendly store with the best service. My son plays clarinet and the young gentleman that was working at the time had great knowledge about it. I have called with questions, several times, and this store had the best information.

I was not allowed to use a guitar pick to try out a guitar? Seriously? The two younger gentlemen there know nothing about guitars or amplifiers. I can honestly say that this is the worst music store experience I have ever had. Anything is better than this store.

Ive been to hundreds of music stores over the years and none have been more worthless than this one. The customer service is non existent. The guy who works there knows nothing about any of the products they sell there; and he acted like I was a thief the entire time I was there. Its like he was specifically told not to be helpful or knowledgeable. Wouldnt let me test any of the products, even though literally every other music store in the world does, and they cant even change guitar strings, they dont know how. Dont waste your time by coming here. Because thats all you will be doing.

I had a great experience here, I was given a chance to test out an electric guitar before I bought it and the person who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful not to mention friendly.
