I was in just recently because I’ve always enjoyed this shop and the individuals that help me. Unfortunately I was treated very poorly at my most recent visit. A young man with bright red hair and glasses was incredibly rude and made me feel unwelcome and totally uncomfortable. His attitude was just totally off the entire time, especially when I asked to use a dressing room and he did a complete eye roll! Needless to say, I didn’t even want to purchase what I liked because I didn’t want to speak with him after that. In the end I put my items back and left. I have worked nothing but customer service. I will praise those who make my experience great, but perhaps this young man should find a job where it doesn’t require human interaction. Whether or not I’ll return is undetermined.Edit: Why do you use the same generic response to your negative reviews? As a manger in my business, I take the time to personalize each response whether the review is good or bad. Just seems lazy and not very personable to me? Just bc youre friends with someone that doesn’t like me, you are on the clock representing a company, not your own personal ego. I do not participate in drama, hence why I continued to be very nice despite your attitude. I did not come into the store to be scowled at or bullied, I came in as a CUSTOMER that wanted to buy a load of outfits, but the energy was so negative I cannot support my favorite buy-sell store any longer. Shame on you.

I went to sell and and the person doing my buy had no idea of any of the brands and under valued my items and had a bad attitude when i had to educate them and on top of that the website state no sizes over 3x that is very discriminating on plus size people don’t support this company

Found Scouts in Omaha while I was down there with a friend- I’m from Sioux Falls! Their shop is so cute, inclusive, and everyone who works there is so sweet. I bought some items in person, and have continued to shop with them through COVID online. I ordered a sweater 5 days ago and it just arrived today- such good time, despite the circumstances!! It’s so cute and very nice quality. Highly recommend!!

Kind of a fun place.Only issue...The guy behind the counter was talking with the other young women behind the counter...I tried not to interrupt their conversation, but decided to break in and ask if they had a restroom.Barely stopping his conversation and turning to face me he said, no we dont have a bathroom. The gas station up the street has one.He had his back to me half way through his sentence and was back to his conversation instantaneously.I was attempting to ask another question concerning an outfit that I had been looking at, but decided it wasnt worth my effort.My fiance had since text me back and was excited about the photo of the outfit that I had sent her, but gossip wins out over guest service.They were deep in conversation I did not want to bother them.So I moved on with my day.

I love coming into Scout: Dry Goods & Trade. I can always find something I need to add to my closet or house and the price is right. I also know that what I buy here is high quality and stylish. The staff is great too. They are nice and friendly and willing to give you advise on how to style an outfit.

Fav sustainable shop!

Have been selling my clothing here (and then spending all the money I get in the same visit ) since they opened their first location. One of my favorite shops in Omaha!

Scout is one block away from my house & I have been shopping there since it opened (in its original location across the street!). I find the cutest most unique clothes here & always get compliments on the cool finds I wear.

This shop is super cute and has a lot of unique clothing. I love how they display everything and the handmade signs are beautiful. Staff could be nicer/friendlier.

Staff was friendly and welcoming, but I don’t understand the purpose of the store. If you want second-hand clothing just go to an actual thrift store. You’ll spend a fraction of the money and probably get higher-quality items.

The cashier was very nice. But I brought in never-worn items, that in my humble opinion would have fit with their mostly hipster theme. Some clothes even still had the tags on them -- and I was told all of my clothes had wear issues If you want to be a repeat of the Flying Worm, youre on your way there

My mom and i have been shopping at scout since they opened and to this day it’s still my favorite store in omaha! i’ve gotten everything from game day outfits to homecoming dresses to everyday accessories there. if you don’t shop at scout you’re missing out!

Lots of cool clothes that are all thrifted and is a great way to fight fast fashion! Super cute and they post fun outfit ideas on Instagram. Little pricey so I only go when I want to treat myself.

I used to shop at Scout when they were a tiny store in Dundee (across the street from where they are now); and I loved it. Once I discoveredtheyd moved and remodeled, I was obsessed ! They have wonderful prices and even prettier pieces.. I am just so in love with the new scout and its atmosphere. If youre an out of towner, I HIGHLY recommend stopping in before you leave, you wont be disappointed! And if youre an Omaha resident who hasnt checked out Scout yet, what are you waiting for!?Ps. Kind of a rip off. Took all my in style name brand clothing which was about 5 pairs of high quality shorts, a dress and I think 3 of my shirts. The shorts I sold were definitely one of a kind and high quality style and fabric and all I got was $17. For all of it. Regret selling my clothes here.

Im so sad that I waited so long to shop here. Great customer service and great finds during the dollar sale. Im definitely coming back since I found some great stuff in the bins. Ill try to come earlier next time for the dollar stuff!

If you are looking to sell items your best bet it to do it on your own online. Their style is geared more towards hipsters and they do not follow trends that are currently in fashion. I would only come here to buy parts of a Halloween costume.

Super hip clothes at super reasonable prices. Not a MASSIVE selection, but I almost always walk out with a new favorite something. And thats just guy stuff -- way more for the ladies, one of whom Im waiting for from the dressing room now. They gave me a free doughnut while I wait too! Dont think thats standard though...

Cute set of vintage shops with one location on each side of the street. Didnt have much time to hunt but did find a really amazing picnic basket for about half the price of the same one I found at hutch a few days prior.

This is a great store for finding hidden treasures and bargains for both men and women. The staff are super friendly and the prices are really cheap. Its usually nice and quite too, so youre not fighting over the rails.

Terrible customer service! We went in at a few minutes after 6:30 and were rudely informed that they stop trading at 6:30. I guess they are too busy closing down the store to do business while they are still open. This put a bad taste in our mouth so we instead donated the clothes to the good will. We dont need stores with customer service like this!

I brought in 7 bags full of clothes, shoes, purses, accessories, etc. They took 3 shirts out of all 7 bags! Which I would have been fine with if the girl behind the counter hadnt balled up all of the clothes she took out and just threw them back in. Everything I had brought in was folded and organized! I had better luck at platos! And the people at platos seemed a lot more friendly.

After waiting an hour for this event only to find 8-10 totes on the floor. Ridiculous. We wont be going to any other events for this store. It was NOT kid-friendly in any way shape or form.And it took them literally a year to respond to the post. YAY!

This place is SHAAAADy. The owner is beyond rude and let her ego get to her head. I have traded some stuff there and got underpaid for them. The employees said they would donate the rest of my stuff they didnt want, but thats code for we are just gonna sell it for profit in our store.The prices are ridiculous. What happened to the charming little thrift shop just around the corner? Cant believe this place is actually popular. Ill stick to the original thrift shops thank you very much.

I am about to visit this store to sell some seriously hip, high dollar, vintage items. Im not expecting alot- they are running a business. After reading these reviews Im putting in my 2 cents because it needs to be said:To the owner or whoever is answering the unhappy 1-star reviewers: Stop with the arrogant tone. These people dont need your lofty in-the-know, too-bad-so-sad, sorry-not-sorry tone. You say Im sorry that your experience wasnt the best. We want our shoppers to come back as well as be happy. Please come in or call so we can hopefully see where our chance to earn your satisfaction was possibly missed.Just because you lease space in Dundee and probably come from the era where customer service died on the vine, doesnt mean the rest of us do.You arent cool when youre too cool to be nice.
