This place rocks, and the staff have always been really friendly. its a little pricey but they have a reward system so thats cool, lots of original drinks
The atmosphere of this place is back by its excellent service, food options, readiness, and overall cleanliness. This place is excellent for both studying and relaxing. Would recommend for the local college studentsIn addition, the art venue inside adds to the local scene and promotes our local artists quite nicely, which needs to be done more in other establishments
Fast and friendly service. Its got a nice coffee-shop vibe with loft seating and a small library of classic titles. The coffee of the day (Jamaican me Crazy) was very fresh and had great flavor! Would recommend as a place to study or grab coffee with a friend.
Great ambience and coffee... nice to have a chat with a friend
Place was cute employee where nice .The coffee was good but made my digestion hurt. Cute and cheap good coffee. I would recommend explaining more about what you guys have there to cunfused costumers.✊🏾
Check out the panoramic photo of the Interior that I added to get an idea of the layout. Great coffee shop, this was my first time at 13th Street Coffee Company. There is more than just coffee here, there is tea, coffee, baked goods, soda, ice cream, granola bars and all different types of books that youre able to peruse through as you drink your morning coffee. The atmosphere is an old style and local feel. This copy shop definitely supports the local Omaha economy by promoting local bands and local activities with flyers and handouts.
In town on vacation and stopped in for breakfast. The staff was friendly! Had painting for sale on the walls from local artist. Will definitely come here again!
Wonderful beverage is wonderful people just a wonderful little thing
I love this place it’s a nice cozy cafe but the barista (Natalie I believe her name is) is incredibly rude and pretentious. I used to visit a lot but she is just really mean to certain people some of my friends have had the same experience but only with that barista. Aside from her, everyone is super nice and it’s a cute place to study.
Great Coffee & very friendly service!! Definitely making this our new coffee hot spot!! 🤗 very clean & cozy 🤗
Always a joy to visit this comfy coffee house. Not overly warm in colors but coffee can’t be beat. Friendly and great customer service. Support local small business!
Great place to hang with friends over coffee
Nice quiet little getaway place
Really friendly vibe and a great place to chat. I really enjoy the loft area!
Very cheap coffee and a great place to relax or study. I find this to be a staple in my busy life when I just need to take a breather from life.
Open on Sunday morning in the Old Market for coffee & small trats!!!
A fantastical place to come and read a book; worth it coming. Ah... And if youre in luck, you could get a good chat with someone.
They were not pretentious enough for me. Girl at the counter was nice tho.
Good nice place wifi clean rest rooms good coffee out door tables friendly atmosphere check it out
More coffee choices then there are hours in a day, all of which is excellent. One of my favorite coffee shops in all of Omaha.Pictures are misleading, very roomy inside.
Definitely a new favorite coffee shop of mine. The drinks were good, the Gelato was so yummy, and the atmosphere was cozy. Even my husband, who doesnt drink coffee, is eager to go back!
Nice, clean, comfortable and quiet
Great atmosphere, tons of flavors to choose from, they had great tasting gelato, and the facility was very clean. I will go there again!
Great place and staff
Great coffee
Its a cozy hole in the wall coffee and tea cafe. Its great if you want a quiet place to send a few emails of finish a couple papers. They have jazz and calming music playing too. Their tea and coffee are really good and it comes out relatively fast. All in all its a 5/5 stars kind of place!
13th Street Coffee and Tea is right in the middle of downtown. Its super cute, has a homey atmosphere, very friendly, quiet for homework, wifi, local event message board/information shelf. Nice loft for secondary seating. COVID precautions such as mask mandate, spaced seating, and take-out options are in place and all seating has decent airflow. My hot chocolate was nothing to write home about, but it was certainly tasty enough.
Shout out to Chloe, She is AWESOME!!!! SHE SAVED THE DAY1. I had just had the Worst Experience at the Overland Leather Goods store on the main street. I was getting a blister from walking around in the lemons (boots) I had just purchased there. (read review on their google page)3. I couldnt find a decent coffee shop on the main street, literally walked like 20 mins, stopped in a 2 and they gave off bad vibes- also on main street.4. I was starting to despise Omaha just then...5. THEN Chloe saved the day.1. Greeted me as soon as I walked in, even though I was not having a great day.2. She let me vent because I was very upset about the mean lady I had just encountered.3. As a fellow barista, she made my coffee excatly just like I like it, with lots of love.4. She gave me a great tip on the best indian food- Flavors about 10 blocks away.5. This precious girl, not only saved my day but she made my trip to Omaha great afterall.Chloe you are the MVP!!!! May God continue to bless you and your new little bundle of joy coming soon!! XOXOXOXOXO
Barista was very rude when taking our order and only seemed to want to argue with us. The same girl tried to start an argument with my husband over a conversation he was having with me. He ended up walking to avoid a confrontation she was trying have. Hed rather leave than continue speaking with her anymore or listening to her lecture him. They have also jacked up the prices for their coffee an unreasonable amount since covid.
Clean and the ppl r nice there easy to talk to
Cozy with warm people with good coffee and food.
Cozy seating area with plenty of coffee choices, including specialty coffee drinks. I was pleased with the Mexican Latte. There are many pieces of art crafted by local artists hanging on the walls that are available for purchase. I will definitely return to try more of their drinks!
Very good coffee, havent tried the tea. Top rate taste and selection, prices are on the low end of whats expected, pastries are good.Ambience is very hip/cozy, with books to read and/or buy, art on the walls for sale, and a cozy upstairs nook. Definitely better than the big chains.
Awesome place to sit and study with good coffee! The sandwiches are great too! It’s nice how late they’re open too. Props to the barista who quickly churns out drink after drink when there’s a long line
Ice-cream here is truly mind-blowing! Pineapple and Blood Orange are super good!
Its an embassy suites. Not awesome, but not bad.
Such a fabulous little coffee shop! The gelato is fantastic, and their coffee over ice is great. Their tea selection is very nice. The atmosphere is very relaxed. I especially loved the artwork on the walls. Its also dog friendly outside. 10/10 experience.
Good coffee, friendly batistas
The baristas are amazing! Their suggestion was perfect. The conversation with them was much needed. Super friendly. Great smiles. Mega gold stars.
This is a cool little private place, where you can sit for hours and study and mind your own business. I highly recommend it. Very quiet.
Coffee was super good and very well priced. Some carolers came in when I was ordering and everyone joined in singing jingle bells and it was cute. Very cool atmosphere, definitely will go back.
We thoroughly enjoyed coming to the 13th Street coffee and tea location! There were great scents floating through the air, and a lot of variety to choose from! It has a very comfortable environment.
Every time Ive visited, the coffee has been served speedily and is of amazing quality! I also love how they have art from local artist on the walls. The atmosphere is always great for conversation and studying!
Some of the older reviews are harsh. But the new owners are innovative and have improved this place. The espresso is from a local roaster and the pastries are fresh daily (and are also local.) I study here all the time.
Very honey. The coffee was good. Really good actually. The location was nice; right on the outskirts of the old market. Very hippy atmosphere. The chairs are a bit rickety, but still a place Id return to.
Had my bridal shower here! Was super fun, cute place && they even included a cute little gift for me. Super appreciate the service :)
What a comfy little location, we had a nice stop here. I tried the lavender and honey gelato and it was sooo goood! This sounds odd. But it tastes kind of like how most of the art shops smell in Old Market haha! It was suprising delicious and somehow nostalgic, loved it.
Went yrs ago & loved it! However, today I went only bc I wanted to relax in the loft w/ the comfy couches...but it was SO GROSS!! The arm rests on the chair were wet?! stains on all the chairs, smelled, and dead bugs on the coffee table. Bummer. Downstairs is cool though.
Great loose leaf tea options! Lovely atmosphere, and the sandwich I ordered was very tasty.
I can appreciate a place going for a stripped down bare bones aesthetic. Ive been to coffee shops that can pull off that feel. This one definitely does not. The chairs are old and dilapidated; the coffee is mediocre. Finally, its overpriced. I wish I could like this place but I just cant.
Good atmosphere. Great service. Loved the local vibe and ownership.
Anyway a great place to have a drink! Even if the people there are all quiet and such!
Baristas were uninterested in providing quality customer service, from the few times Ive been here they seemed to have wanted to get our order and have us gone what seemed like asap. The main lady, I think shes the owner or owners daughter, is always unpleasant and tells it like it is. She seems to only be nice to the regulars and my drink was watery and had little flavor on top of that. For sure wont be coming back.
Very comfortable, great service, and a wonderful place to just sit and chat with a good friend.
I love this place. They open till very late. They have wide selections of drinks, ice creams and pastries. Best place to read books.
I really enjoy going to 13th Street Coffee because theyre open late like 11pm or 12am. Its pretty convenient especially if you need to go somewhere to study or even meet up with friends. I like the fact that theres an upstairs and it usually doesnt get packed as some other places. My favorite drink that I usually get is their Mexican Latte. They also have a variety of teas that you can try.
AMAZING. Chai Me a River is addicting, and the sandwiches are so good. The atmosphere is laid back and chill, and the music makes you want to curl up in a blanket and read a book. Highly recommend for lunch or breakfast.
This coffee shop has a wonderful selection of loose leaf teas, smoothies, ice cream, and coffee. The space is very welcoming and relaxed. The open air ceiling and the jazz playing in the background help contribute to this vibe.
An old school cafe with a modern selection of teas and coffee at modest prices. At $3 for a medium coffee drink, it is worth it,I should also note that the staff is wonderful and they joked around with me while I waited for a date. It certainly eased the tension and I had a great time even before I walked in the store!
We were visiting from out of town decided to have coffee their on our last morning before heading back home. My fiancé got a large latte and myself a medium latte he said he could barely taste any coffee had a couple sips and threw the rest away. My latte was the same it just tasted weird like warm up milk with alittle bit of coffee in it. I had a couple of sips and threw the rest away too. Was very disappointed.
This place is the single most reason my wife and I love coming to Omaha, NE. This is the greatest coffeehouse I have every been to and that says a lot. If you are ever in Omaha and you want to have a sit and read a good book with a coffee this is your place. If you are looking for a good breakfast or lunch this is your place. 5 stars all the way.
Very cool coffee shop. Great coffee and great snacks. Its a very cozy place to take a break from your busy day and have a good cup of joe. Or go up to the loft and break out your lap top to cram for finals. Whatever you have going on this is a chill spot to be.
I love this place. They have a great selection of drinks. The lady knows my drink by heart. The atmosphere is very chill, amazing place to study or have a silent moment on the upstairs level. The art work on the walls are for sale and they make this building pop. Customer services 10/10. 5☆ for decoration. And 👍🖒 for products.
Easily the worst coffee Ive ever had. I travel frequently and always make an effort to try as many local coffee shops that I can. Anyway, I asked for an iced latte, extra espresso, vanilla, etc. She charged me nearly $4 extra for these extras then didnt include any of what I ordered and paid for. She put a scoop of ice into my hot cup, so my beverage was lukewarm, not hot nor iced. Also- a very local place- if youre not local, the barista treats you terribly.
The sandwiches are good in my opinion. But every time I have gone the server as been sitting down with a friend and I have had to stand at the counter for her to notice me just for her to be rude and rush away the second I get my order. Its the same lady every time that is rude. The other employees I have encountered have been kind enough. Also coffee not too good.
The prices are good. The beverages are nothing to write home about, but are decent. It does have a nice downtown urban kind of look, with somewhat outdated uncomfortable furniture and tables, the kind of place I enjoy for reading or studying. This was a place I frequented until today. I was hanging out on the second floor reading and lightly tapping my foot to some jazz that was playing on the speakers and the Barista, rudely and loudly yells, “Can whoever is tap dancing up there please stop?.” Well, if I heard it, then everyone in the coffee shop heard it. I wasn’t tap dancing. I wish she would have made the short trek up the stairs to let me know in person, that my toe tapping was disturbing someone.
Sweet little place where my love treated me for a fantastic hot chocolate that kept me warm during what would then become my most favorite night on my 3-month long vacation trip to the US. Needless to say, it now holds a very special place in my heart and I would love to return him the favor here one fine day.
Good coffee, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Cool place to study, but the coffees not very good.
I absolutely LOVE this little coffee shop. Very warm and welcoming. Def not a startbucks or scooter, in a great way! The owner is super nice and helpful. I always spend at least an hour there doing work and it is a very welconjng, cozy environment. Def recommend! Best coffee shop in Omaha!!
Im not really into fancy coffee and tea, but I do like the setup of this place. There are normal tables and chairs on the first level, but if you are there to hang out a while there are some more comfortable chairs upstairs that overlook the rest of the place.
Cool location and great for relaxing or working. The worst coffee Ive ever had and that includes hotel coffee. The treats though are wonderful.
Love this place! Its very Seattlely, without the -freeze. 😊
Over paid for a drink that was basically chocolate milk and ice blended, also barista basically made our drinks so fast just to hurry onto her phone right after she handed us our receipts to sign. Hope it was important to rush our drinks and make them horribly during your shift.
Nice setting. Peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.
Great place for coffee and pastries. One of the best places for coffee in Omaha.
This is my favorite coffee shop. I love the atsmosphere and the coffee is wonderful.
I loved this place years ago, but it isnt the same. Drinks are kind of pricey and not great, and pastries arent stellar. I didnt have a just plain coffee- Im sure that is fine.
Easily the best coffee in Omaha. Nice casual vibe, great place to hang out. Try the HOT LATTES
Cozy spot, good place to get warm on a cold day
10/10 best tea I’ve ever had. I hate coffee, never had it, but I’m sure it’s better here than anywhere else. Love the incessant jazz, and you will too. Ask for the key to the cellar, vintage wines available.
I went to it at night after few drinks with my girls and it was pretty cozy and cheap and totally worth it will differently come back again
This perfect hidden gem, located right off 13th street as you enter downtown omaha, is a coffee shop for all ages the colorfully named drinks only add to artsy ambiance. The walls are decorated with paintings and mixed media art that are for sell. And the loft area has a few comfy couches, coveted by those who want a good date to be great.
Very nice small coffee shop. Employees are very nice and helpful.
Great coffee, vibe and customer service. Relaxing yet very stimulating
Been going here since the 90s. It has a special place in my heart. Plus everything is awesome, so thats a super plus!
Great selection and coffee. really enjoy the atmosphere and always friendly.
Comforting and peaceful vibes here. Its great place to study, relax and take a coffee break.
Their coffees taste was like the others coffee. There is not a special taste is here. Also wifi password was trygooglinit.
Very cute, relaxing coffee shop. Delicious java chip frappuchino. Nice jazz music playing. Friendly staff
Nice little coffeeshop. Sadly the location gets little traffic. I hope they get enough business because I really liked it.
Great place! Looked forward to being there every morning during my stay in Omaha.
