I absolutely love this place for many reasons! Great environment to sit and have a conversation, delicious coffee, extremely friendly staff, decent prices and good location!You cant go wrong when you patron a local small business of this caliber.

Decided to try here since Im an army vet. Got coffee for my wife and I and they both tasted really good. Store atmosphere was really nice and cozy too. Ill be back here more often.
This place is amazing! I ordered a delivery order and got the wrong kind of meat on my sandwich but the owner solved everything and went out of his way to deliver the right kind of sandwich to me. With a free cookie! Such a great business, I highly recommend :)

Veteran owned coffee shop with military discounts.We went as a group. They currently have a Groupon offer which is great to get if you want to try this place out.I would be back.The breakfast sandwiches were all very good and large. Im hesitant with sausage sometimes because Ive had quite a few mediocre ones lately. This sausage was better than most. Not too peppery (think scooters).Our favorite was the breakfast tartine with the bechamel sauce.The coffee is good with sizes from 16 oz to 32Parking is available in a large lot.It is in Millard (SW Omaha)If you have kids, in the back they have a play area with bar seating so you can watch your child while you have your coffee.They also have a drive through.
Every time I am in Omaha I make it a point to stop at green beans coffee. The coffee is the best I’ve had, and I even buys some grinds to have at home! I haven’t had something from there that I didn’t like, food included. The staff are always extremely nice and welcoming. And the atmosphere of the shop is very nice. I highly recommend Green Beans Coffee to everyone!! Plus, it’s a bonus that it helps support the troops!
We were looking for a coffee shop after being let down by one (Lamars). So, we met friends at Green Beans for coffee with a great experience!! Great atmosphere and very friendly staff, great coffee and other food items. Very clean and comfy leather chairs. It’s a hidden treasure!!
Absolutely my favorite place to get coffee! Not only is the coffee amazing but the lady that works in the mornings is what makes my day! She is always in such a good mood and is so friendly! She is my favorite part of going there in the mornings and its so nice to be greeted by someone that is so positive and happy! I work in customer service and its hard to find someone as wonderful as her! Have a great holiday and please let her know she is doing an amazing job !

This is a great place to get a cup of coffee or a way above average bite to eat.Everybody who works here is friendly and it’s definitely not a run of the mill corporate move along and give us your money kind of a thing. Pro military/family friendly atmosphere.
Ive been coming here for a few years now and the service that I receive has always been impeccable. My first experience with Green Beans was downrange so this place was once a respite and haven for me. Now, I can enjoy it back home and I still enjoy myself. Quality product, quality service, quality environment. If you havent tried it, youre missing out.
Had Espresso, fantastic. Salad with chicken and bacon too. Bathrooms have a changing table and hook for a backpack.
Absolutely the best cold brew in Omaha! The atmosphere in the facility is very inviting with a polite and friendly staff that will take great care of you . The bread bowls are a must try with their delicious soup. Definitely recommend!

Driving through NE on my way back to PA and wanted to stop somewhere for breakfast. Found this place by a quick google search. The employees were friendly and willing to answer all my dumb questions. Got a croissant sandwich, which was a very sizable portion and tasty! And I got a vanilla cold brew with soy, which was very, very smooth! The vibe was much like the one I get from Nebraska in general.. cozy and like everyone lives just a little slower. So relaxing inside! Loved it and definitely recommend.

Green Bean is one of the best coffee shops around! They make the best Chai tea! Great staff and the owner is a Veteran. I drive 20 minutes to get to Green Bean, passing several other coffee shops along the way, they are worth the drive!

Green Beans Coffee Shop is without a doubt my favorite place to grab a cup of coffee or tea, a muffin or sandwich. Family owned and operated it feels like home when you stop in or pull thru the drive thru and are greeted by Amber or one of the other friendly baristas. The coffee is always amazing, the homemade muffins are fresh and delicious and the employees and John the owner are the best!

I stopped by for the first time today on my way to Walmart. I got a caramel frappe and holy cow it was amazing. So creamy, lots of caramel flavor. This is my new favorite coffee place.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem! You cant see it from the road but it is worth stopping in. They serve great salads, made fresh on the spot. They also have a selection of sandwiches, wraps, deserts, coffee and smoothies. Everything is very affordable. A 24 oz coffee is less than what you would pay at Starbucks. We had salads that were around $8 each and the salad was large enough for two small meals. We will definitely be visiting again!

First and foremost, they have the BEST mission - Honor First, Coffee Second. They take care of the military men, women and families. As a veteran myself, this means the world to me!Second, they are a local and family-owned business. They like to personally know their customers. Plus, I would much rather support a local family rather than a nationwide chain!Lastly, they have a wonderful atmosphere with great customer service! It is welcoming to everyone, including families, as evidenced by the kid play room that is easily visible to parents at the wrap around bar top with windows.This coffee shop is the place to be for great drinks, breakfast items, sandwiches and soup! Im lucky to live close to them!

John, Amber, Kirsten, and all the staff are really fantastic and they know our drinks as soon as we walk in or pull up to the drive thru. The coffee is delicious and so are the food items - great salads too.

I am a previous employee. The owner and employees still treat me very kindly. I know first hand how much they care about their customers and the community. I absolutely love the food and drinks available. There’s definitely something available for each meal that will make your mouth water. Every time I’m in town I try to make sure to go by. It may not be as well know as Starbucks or Scooters, but the quality and kindness you’ll find is reason enough to stop by for a bite or just a cup of coffee on the way to work.
Service is great, they offer military discount, the big breakfast burrito is delicious, but the lattes are kind of generic.

There wasn’t a brick and mortar till the past years. It was only on military bases. When my daughter was deployed to Al Dhafra Air Force bade she said the only thing that got her through those six months was Green Beans. When she came out to Nebraska to visit me I said let’s get coffee at this great place. We pulled up and she got tears in her eyes. Much love for Green Beans.
Absolutely love this place! They serve amazing food and killer drinks that are bigger than any of the major coffee houses at the same price as the major coffee houses. I love starting my day off right with a bagel sandwich that is twice if not almost 3 times as big a scooters bagel sandwich and a 32 oz frappe at the same price as a large at scooters.I absolutely love the idea that this is a military ran place, as all military members are near and dear to my heart. I have several military members in my family and I love that they give so much back to the military community.The owner is so warm and inviting and is so passionate about what he does.The only thing I wish they would change about this place is that they would have more locations.Kitty owner keep doing what youre doing its fantastic.

Best espresso I have found so far and they have pumpkin latte year round. They also have the best cold brew and nitro. The owner is retired Air Force and does so much to support and give back to the military and the community.

Definitely not open at 5:50 pm on a Thursday despite posted hours.Update: Owner messaged me to say this is a glitch on Googles end and actual business hours are Monday-Saturday 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. with drive thru open 15m early and 30m late.Leaving three starts as an incomplete review, will update if I make it back during correct hours.
Love the mission behind this coffee shop and all the incredible people they are supporting! The barista that took our order was not overly friendly and could work on being more welcoming, she just took something away from our first time visiting the shop with her lack of customer service. We were lucky enough to come during happy hour which was a nice surprise! Loved the kids area for our two little girls to play in while my husband and I chatted and watched them play. Will definitely return!!
Such a fan of this coffee shop! The little kids area for them to go hang out in and play is such a lifesaver. You can grab some coffee and read or meet with a friend and not have to worry as much about the little one driving you completely crazy and getting bored before youre ready to leave! Coffee is excellent as well and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
This was our second trip to GBC and it was more amazing than the first! Staff members are incredibly friendly in a sincere way. The food deserves its own word so I’m going to call it fantabulous! We had breakfast last time, and soup, salad, and a sandwich this time. Everything there is amazing! Even if you don’t like muffins, the deep dish apple will definitely make you LOVE muffins!

I regularly visit Green Beans Coffee every week as they do have the best-tasting lattes and smoothies in the area. However, slight word of caution when ordering during peaks hours between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday mornings. Today I ordered my usual white mocha latte, but decided to try one of their warmed-up chocolate muffins. I got my latte, but not the muffin. Im sure it was an honest mistake (it happens to the best of us), as the baristas were very busy this morning so I knocked down the review down to a 4-star rating instead of 5. Having said that, I will continue to support Green Beans Coffee.
The owners love you as one of their own. It reflects in the service that all of the staff gives and their selection of real coffee options is amazing. Absolute best in Omaha!

I had black dark roast blend. It tasted really good. Also got a bacon chicken ranch wrap. That was so good.

Been an on and off regular of this place for some time now. People there are very friendly. If your drink doesnt taste right or just isnt good theyll usually remake it or help you get a different drink.Even when theyre busy they try to make time for you.Try Green Beans coffee, its one of my personal favorites.

This is absolutely, hands down my favorite coffee place! Their coffee is absolutely delicious, food is amazing and the staff is full of the best, sweetest people around. Their staff truly cares about the products they serve and care about you as a customer. This is my every morning place. I love the drive thru option and if you have time to sit inside...its relaxing and perfect. They have a fireplace, tables, couches and even a kids area for your littles to enjoy. Its a coffee place for all ages.You will never regret stopping in at Green Beans!
I have to say tonight was the greatest night I’ve had in a long time. I have not had the pleasure of drinking Green Bean Coffee since 2007 in Afghanistan. Tonight my buddy and I realized there was one in Omaha and despite the ice storm we decided to make the trek across Omaha to get this delicious drink. We were running late and the store was gonna close soon so we decided to call and plead for them to hold the door for a few more minutes as we were being held up by the immense traffic. The lovely barista made use two of the greatest cups of coffee we have had in years. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!! You have put a smile on two veterans faces tonight!
