They have amazingly funny things here. Always something new and a lot of things that make people laugh. I hope this shop never leaves, its perfect for white elephant gifts, too!

One of my favorite shops in town. They have the most unique greeting cards and kitchen supplies, and I love their Giant Microbes collection. A great place to get unique toys and gifts for your quirky friends and family. Staff is wonderful too!

After I graduated high school, I worked at this store. Back in 1999-2001-ish. When I say the owners are some of the best people around; they actually gave us a christmas bonus. Fair, resonable and also hard working folks.It was just an all around pleasant place to work. It was always fun to unpack merchandise, so many unique items. Everyone loved coming in the store, which made it fun to work there.Not sure everyone apperciated it like I did. Working in the old market was an entire vibe in 99-00’. So many small mom and pop shops. The police were super nice, always the same faces and they always made sure you were safe at night after closing.I have nothing but fond memories of working at City Limits. If I ever could work here again, I would in a heart beat. I’ve seriously considered starting another City Limits here in Dallas but location is what makes this City Limits in Omaha so special and successful.After so many years in the Old Market, surviving recessions, fire, weather, pandemics…I would argue it’s achieving iconic status in Omaha history.I wish I had photos of the store back then, it was next door to it’s current location. Doing the window displays was super fun too!

Awesome little store with lots of cool things in the Old Market district!

If you have a sense of humor, you’ll enjoy this place. I sometimes come in just to read their incredibly funny books in the back. I have gotten a lot of my own personal things from this store, as they offer a wide selection of items like little nick-nacks (I am personally fond of those mini-hands) to the decorated journals in the back. It’s all really great and the overt humorous atmosphere makes it all the more better.

A lot of AWESOME & COOL things for sell in the shop that are reasonably priced and owner was extremely nice!! Truly a pleasure shopping there, will be back, and highly recommend stopping by!!

City Limits is a fin place to go to find that little oddity for cards, books, socks, and little things like that.This place has a very special sense of humor, and much of that humor is very adult-oriented, so please be careful bringing your children inside.Overall, it is a fun place to visit for a fun gift with a twisted sense of humor and offbeat theme.

It has interesting novelties and cool nick nack. This store is worth at least one visit if you are looking for gifts.

I found some stationary that was cool, but the place had some pretty vulgar items in there also. Wouldnt feel comfortable taking kids in there even though it should be okay to take them to a store like that.

I have been shopping here for over 20 years. Its the kind of place that sells things you really dont need but just got to have. Things for the home, office, gag gifts, items that if friends see you have will have to ask where in the world did you get this?

Weird store but super fun to browse. So many random books, cards, magnets, games, puzzles.. we ended up finding a book about Barb from Stranger Things which is the perfect gift for a friend of ours who loves her. This place has things like that.. just weird things that you will certainly say That is perfect for our friend!

This is just a fun store. They have a little of everything - much of it is unique and fun. They have a huge selection of greeting cards, most of which are very funny. You can get lost looking through them.They have mugs, games, puzzles, books, socks, action figures (Einstein, Shakespeare, etc.). They also have political satirical items and much, much more. Some of it is really crazy, and some might offend. So, go there to have fun and expect some things you may love and may hate.While there, I got to meet the owner who does most of the buying. I had to see if it was as fun to buy the merchandise as it was to look at it - she said it was. I believe her.We could have spent hours there.

Wow this place has millions of toys I had when I was a kid and every toy you can think of...i couldnt pull my boyfriend out of there! We wanna go back! My granddaughter really enjoyed this little room at the store...theres so many rooms full of toys@ we love this store!

Just about the most interesting store Ive ever been in. There is a little something for everyone. They have a big selection of funny magnets, socks, buttons, cards, clever recycled pouches, and keychains. There are journals, notebooks, coloring books, stationery sets, gift bags, decorative items, and novelty gifts. Basically, I could probably find something for anyone on a gift list, and at really reasonable prices. Its sometimes a little warm in the store, and the several steps up were a little rough with a knee injury, but otherwise, fabulous. Just a reminder - make sure to leave your magnets, buttons, and socks at the front counter when youre shopping!

Great cards & funny items for gifts for people who have enough of everything else! We still get laughs from a door mat we purchased a couple of years ago at this place. Its worth the stop!

I love this place! I work downtown, so I go here way more than I should! I ALWAYS find something new every single time Im walk in. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I usually find myself chatting with other customers about a funny card or magnet. Always a good time!

Most of the things were too expensive for me to buy, but its a small and unique store, so I get it. They have some awesome products with hilarious quotes! It was clean and the cashier was nice. I wouldnt bring younger kids in there who can read though. Youll see the F bomb dropped on the covers of many of their books/products and along with a fair share of sexual innuendos. For adults, this store is awesome! 😊

I was walking up to the door at 8:38pm (on a Tuesday) and a girl was walking away, having locked the door. It turns out 9:00 pm isnt a firm close time? I was going to shop here for quirky thank you cards before going to ETSY for them, but it looks like the sales associate made the decision for me. (I normally would email management about an issue like this, but no email seems to be provided anywhere so this seems to be the only option.)

Visited this store with my family this evening to get ideas for Christmas gifts for family. Instead of feeling welcome, I was watched like a hawk as if I might steal something. Even my husband noticed and it made him uncomfortable. For this reason I made no purchases and left. Wont be visiting again.
