I am rating this store 5 stars because I truly believe this establishment deserves every last one of them. I have been going here since they opened up in Sidney, many years ago and could no be more pleased.When I first entered the store years ago I was instantly greeted with a smile and a friendly face. My concerns were with my eight year olds iPhone and the fact that it could no longer hold a charge anymore, the owner of the store greeted my little ones and proceeded to help me change the battery and get me on my way in less than five to ten minutes.I could not be more impressed by their care, knowledge, and friendly smiles with all of their projects. This will always have me coming back with all of my electronic needs.

I took my S6 to have battery replaced w/new one bcuz my S6 wouldnt turn on. They called me a week later & said the phone was damaged & they couldnt repair it. The staff & owner were very professional & courteous. They are knowledgeable & advised me how it could have been damaged. I enjoyed doing service with them. Great team. I only wish they had more in stock to choose from, ie. accessories, etc.

Walked into this place for the first time yesterday for help with my husbands iPhone which no one else said they could fix. Was immediately waited on and assured it was fixable. They were very friendly and courteous in dealing with my problem. Waited for only a few minutes and it was fixed ... and the cost was beyond reasonable. Highly recommend for any problems with your cell phone. This is the first place I will be going to for all my cell phone needs from now on.

Have used Itech for a number of years. The owner, Jamal, is extraordinarily knowledgeable, and a person of the highest integrity.Went in yesterday to get my severely cracked iPhone screen replaced. Handed my phone to Jamal expecting him to take it into the back room and repair it. Instead, he just gently peeled off a plastic protective screen cover and there was my perfectly intact glass screen.I dare say someone else would have taken the phone into the back repair room, come out and declare, “There, a brand new glass screen – $80 bucks!

Jamal is so reasonable in his pricing and prompt in his service. Jamal will be honest and up front and not surprise you with anything. Well stocked with common accessories and parts. You can have a new case and battery and perhaps even more installed fresh, oftentimes same day. It is a great experience at the iTech Store.

The iTech store is the best business to come to this area in a long time. Jamaal is fast, efficient and friendly. He takes alot of pride in his work and treats his customers with respect and is very patient and thorough. Mr jamal found me a GREAT deal on a mac book pro. I needed a computer asap and he got me one and for a great price. He also fixed my phone screen before my lunch break was finished. I thought he did a magic trick it was so fast!

Very fair pricing and very quick repair time. I have brought my phone to Jamal on multiple occasions to fix my screen, my mic, my speakers, my battery etc. and within 30 minutes to an hour he had everything fixed and running like new. Even after purchasing a refurbished phone from Jamal he was quick to check in and make sure everything was working properly and offered to fix any issues free of charge. Customer service is phenomenal and you really honestly can’t beat the prices.

I have to say I was impressed by the speed and service I got from these guys. My battery for my Galaxy Note 9 was draining fast and dying out quicker than usual. I called this place and they told me to come right down without an appointment they checked my phone and installed a new battery within 30min. Usually you would have to make appointments and order parts but they had everything ready. I was in and out. I really appreciate having the itech store around.

I literally wouldn’t be able to type this review if it wasn’t for Jamal and the iTech Store. I am not the most careful person with my phone, and Jamal has resurrected it twice for me. The first time was last winter when it fell out of my pocket while I was shoveling. The screen was cracked and it had been outside for about an hour before I found it. But he opened it up, got everything dry, and put a new screen on for way less than I thought it would be. He also made sure I got a good case on it. A few months later I dropped my phone while I was cleaning it and got spider webs across the screen. I was worried when the phone wasn’t turning on because I had a ton of pictures of my kids that were irreplaceable, so I went straight to Sidney where he fixed the phone while I was waiting - less than 30 minutes. He’s honest and has the best price I’ve seen. If you’re having any kind of issues with you devices iTech Store is the palace to go!

Had a crack screen and the phone was keep on giving me problems. Left my phone at the store. The person (Jamal )was very nice and friendly not only they gave me a good deal on the screen but also helped me figure out what was wrong with the phone and resolved the issue. Several times I’ve had not only questions but issues with phones, I’ve received messages back when asking along with all of the issues I have inquired about resolved. The answers given are never like the ones you receive when calling a phone carrier company when they say this is impossible or won’t work. If you want a screen protector for your phone, I don’t recommend getting it there. It’s really bad. They even didn’t want to fix their mistake. Plus they said to repair phone screen that was damaged due to the failure of their screen protector that wasn’t attached properly would cost $110. BS.So if you guys have an iPhone, know that you can call apple and you have 2 years apple support on your phone from the date you purchased, LEGIT company like apple or their 3rd party Best Buy would be able to fix your screen and all professionally at Geek Squad for $29.00 and apple request them to fix everything. So if there is something else wrong with your phone they will send you new phone for $100.00 . I just got my phone and screen fixed at Best Buy for $29.00 and it works great. And I know it’s legit. NOT 110$ like these guys. And it was their fault.

This is a great place to bring your broken devices to be fixed. You will be surprised to see that your device looks brand new! They also sell you refurbished iPhones at a great price! I’m using my phone that I had bought from them to make this review. I came back some weeks later and they fixed up my very old 2010 iMac. Very professional, great customer service, and fast repairs! If you have an old iPhone laying around, they take those off your hands and put some bills in your pocket in return. Whenever I have an issue I cannot solve, I always bring it to this store and they know exactly what is wrong, It’s like magic what they can do! Jamal Reyes is quite honestly the most professional, polite, helpful owner operator I have encountered. I have sent several customers to him, solely because of his honesty and work ethic. Jamal works with the customer, does not up-sell, is completely honest and forthcoming, and hides nothing from the customer. I moved up to Sidney Center a few months ago from Virginia, and i gotta say, i’m surprised that the only phone repair shop in the area is such a good one. Jamal and Alex are very nice and easy to talk to, they are very welcoming and seem honest. the prices cannot be beat, where i used to live in VA i wouldn’t get my screen fixed because it was so expensive, here they have high quality parts and high quality people for an amazing price. the repair took but 15 minutes if even that. i am very happy with my experience at the itech store, and will defiantly be back again.

It’s sad to see these spam accounts making spam 1 star reviews only bring down the ratings for no reason. This place deserves more than 5 stars. I don’t know any other place between Binghamton and Albany (with the exception of Oneonta) that offers phone and computer services like Jamal does. First time I did business with him was when I bought from him a brand new iPhone 8 Plus when it came out about two years ago. He sold it to me at a price lower than the retail price and ever since then I became his loyal customer. He can also fix cracked screens at a decent price which he’s done for me more than once! Above all else Jamal’s personality is amazing and he’s always caring so that’s why I hate to see these fake 1 star reviews

I was referred by a family member for my iPhones battery life. I’m so glad I listened to them! Jamal was fast in responding to my message, worked with me on time, and got it done by the time I was done shopping! I highly recommend the itech store in Sidney NY. By far one of the best stores around!

My iPhone 6 battery was swelling and it was separating and bending the screen out from the frame. I thought I was going to have to buy a new phone. But I brought it in to the iTech store and it was fixed in ten minutes while I waited. (For a lot less than I would have expected). After that I asked the guys at Best Buy in Vestal what they would do, and they told me they wouldn’t fix it, they would sell me a new phone. So needless to say, the Itech store will now get all my business when it comes to phones or computers. I also recommended them to a co-worker who had a similar experience with a cracked screen and he was very happy with the speed and cost of the service he got there as well.

Can I give zero stars??? Do not expect any type of customer service from iTech. In the last 30 days I have made 2 very disappointing purchases from this store. My first issue arose after purchasing outlet covers with LED lights. These were purchased as a Christmas gift. I received outlet covers with USB ports instead. I contacted the company to return them. After several days, they finally answered and requested photos of the items received. I sent the photos. Then, after several more days, they finally sent an RMD number so that I could return the items. I inquired about receiving the items that I had initially purchased, as I needed them before Christmas. They would not help me in any way. They needed the items that they had sent in error before they would send the correct items. So....I obviously could not receive the items before Christmas. Even after I explained that these were a Christmas gift, they made no effort to resolve the issue.I also purchased 3 sets of wireless headphones as Christmas gifts. Obviously I would not purchase 3 sets of headphones for myself. All 3 recipients reported that the quality of the headphones was very poor. I again contacted the company, less than 30 days after Christmas. I was advised that the 30 days started on the date of my purchase, not on Christmas and therefore, they would not honor any type of warranty/return. As the initial reply was from the first line customer service, I asked them to elevate my issue to a manager, and explain that the items were not received until 12/25. The manager refused my request. I believe that during the holiday season, companies recognize that items are purchased as gifts and therefore begin the warranty period on Christmas day. Be forewarned....this company has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and apparently sells poor quality items.

This guy is a fraud!, he fixed my iphone plus screen with a cheap screen, within a month the screen came off the phone. I took it back to him to fix it, he tells me its because my phone is slightly burned so he wont fix it or to pay him again for another screen. The truth is my phone was the same way the first time he claimed to fixed it. He didnt look experienced at all! and the place doesnt look professional...beware! Such a fraud...
