I have only recently started shopping at this store in the last few months and the one end of the freezer section with ice creams has had this chronic ice build up for some time now and it doesnt look like anyone is tending to it. Ive also noticed some of the small containers of ice cream are bashed and those same containers have been there for a while now as I check each time I visit the store and this little issue really speaks volumes to me about the level of care and concern toward the customers. There seems to be a lack of effort in this particular location and in my opinion every supermarket/grocers first and utmost important priority should be that of supplying your customers with the freshest product available. We rely on you to provide us food we can consume safely and without question. Hopefully posting this here will help to remedy the issue. I have never seen layers of ice like this on any products in any other grocery store. Nor bashed and damaged perishable product remaining on the shelf for extended periods of time.

For a small town grocery store, its massive. Plenty of selection, well stocked, and helpful employees.

Great mom and pop feel grocery store. Wonderful selection of vegan, plant-based, and organic food and products.

Very clean store. We are not from the state and did not know that there was a 5 cent charge for paper bags.

Excellent store to go shopping, even though its a little pricey. Everything is so clean, organized, and food is in great condition. People who work there are always happy to help!

I enjoy this store very much, but I was very disappointed that both door/cart locations had zero sanitary wipes, Paper towels, nothing, so I went into the bathroom, there Also was No paper towels...and when I went to talk to customer service theres someone at checkout with no mask...what happened to no mask no service?? Produce Im alway pleased with but today, again i dont know who was in charge but the broccoli was rotten and gross! Not pleased

I love this Hannaford for multiple reasons, but I really have to say the pharmacy staff is truly the best in town. Norm and Sharon are not only knowledgeable, but theyve always been super helpful and friendly. A hometown pharmacy feel.!!

Another great grocery store in oneonta cant complain and they have a great produce and meat and seafood department. Hghly recommend it if your BBQ is a staple during the summer.

I wish I could give a zero. They just allow people to come in and shop with no mask and when we told the worker we were told “that happens sometimes” and didn’t do anything. A worker helped the man at self checkout and didn’t say anything. I forgot the pandemic was over and people aren’t dying everyday from covid. Don’t get your groceries here they clearly don’t care about anyone’s safety

The young lady who has been our pick up person the last month is sweet and we always joke and say we hope its her who comes out.

Hannaford has the freshest fruits and vegetables and the bakery bread and items are fresh and baked just right. They have an awesome fish counter where you can fresh fish . The natural foods section is great with all kinds of nuts/seeds soups organics. Great store on my favorite list! Clean with friendly helpful staff. Hands down one of the BEST!

Love hannaford . They have the best quality foods. I know my meat is safe and my veggies fresher than other stores. They carry a huge variety of stuff for different diets like vegan, keto, ect.

Good selection, in and out fast, had what I wanted.

This door is disgusting its never clean theres never anything in the same place theyre constantly moving their items I literally found seven oranges in the pile of oranges that were rotten and they were on top. not to mention most of the staff are angry and give you attitude every time you go in there and not a single one of them will help you bag your groceries even though its holding up the line definitely do not recommend and not to mention everything in their store is twice the price of every other supermarket in town and that includes price chopper price choppers expensive too.

I am not a big fan of any Hannafords to be honest, but this one is worse than normal. We took 5 bags of returnables there using clynk and they never showed up on our account. We used to use the pharmacy there, but they seemed to have issues 90% of the time (only having 30 days of a 90 day prescription, having difficulty having them ready when they said they would, etc) The beer prices are higher than the local gas stations, and produce is lower quality than Aldi at twice the price

Always a pleasant experience. Nobody likes to grocery shop but good prices, clean store, pleasant and courteous staff.

Most people wore a mask thought 1 staff did not. Some patrons loosely had mask and only covered their mouth. Some patrons were indigent to cover themselves and ignored my request to cover themself. But it was better than other times.

I started a membership to use pickup service. Took hour or more to do and make a order. I was told in 4 or 5 days I could pickup . After waiting I was 3 days they sent me notice they are discontinued service because they want workers to stock shelves and clean . So I had to go into store with being sick to get what I needed. This is the time pickup is needed to bbe safer for us seniors.

Pick up service is great and staff is always nice and helpful.

Very Impressive, clean operation. First time in one (live in NC) it was late on Friday night, needed supplies for the weekend. Planned on spending about $80, actually came out to $140!!! It wasnt because of high prices but they just had everything we needed PLUS ➕

Meat department lacks

Great health food section. They helped a local shelter with a community barbeque. Nice staff. Hannaford to go is great if you are not well enough to shop for yourself. It was a lifesaver when I was chronically ill.

Love the ease of finding my items because of the way everything is labeled. Good selection and great fresh veggie section. However every week I hate the fishy smell when I 1st walk in.

Picked up a prescription and a lower price offered on GoodRx was refused to be honored. They claimed they didnt know about the app and it was too much of a discount. Store manager was asked for and the same B.S. excuse was given. Total crooks!

Amazing Big store with fresh groceries and exotic foods from Europe

The ice cream has been the same for 3 months, they don’t restock anything that’s frozen that happens to runout. SAD!

Friendly staff, clean facility, good selections. Wish there were more Non-GMO/organic options, but thats what Green Earth Market is for!

If your looking for something special they have it. A very nice organic section and vegetarian section. The meat is always fresh and tastes great. Produce section is top notch. No other store in the area has such a nice produce section . Seafood is always great to and their deli has fresh hot food ad a bonus.

I really like the produce and meat at this store. Service is very good, esp at the meat and deli counters. And you have self-check out, too. I like the variety of the products, and most of the generic products taste very good.

Awesome place to buy groceries along with supplies for the home. It’s not like other grocery megastores where you don’t really know where your food is coming from. They have great deals on all sorts of products. Check the flyers every week to see if they are offering any sales, deals, or discounts on anything from food to household items. This is also an excellent place to shop for great sales on meat and fish. Hannaford is the best place to buy fresh meat and fish in the area.

Hannaford is always clean and the folks who work there are friendly and helpful. Has a decent vegetarian/vegan select and a great deli.

Excellent organic / health food section. Excellent produce as well. Clean and typically well stocked. Saturdays in summer get somewhat crazy. Its on Southside so traffic gets tough at times. Just added self checkout. Seafood and small butcher area available.

I usually go here for their deli and meat market, the price and quality are quite good. Their bread selection is also attractive, but for staple foods (flour, butter, eggs, most produce, etc.) the Aldis just up the street is a better option due to much better prices.

I like this store very much. Its always very neat and organized so that I can find everything that Im looking for. The staff is always very helpful as well! Especially the girl at the checkout counter who bags up my groceries, shes always so polite and says youre welcome! whenever I say thank you.

Your use of paper bags is a great first step...however you need to go further to prevent cross contamination. Baggers need to use oves and SANITIZE bagging area between customers. Also the card reader needs to be wiped down between customers so if 100 customers use the card machine and its not cleaned each time its no different than 100 customers congregating. The same goes for the bag area and bagger.

The Hannaford To-Go people are kind and always provide an excellent experience. Strongly reccomended.

Good solid grocery store. The best features being a salad bar and a hot wings bar. They need to replace the bulk foods weigh & label machine. Its been on the fritz way too long. Months.

Experience at Hannaford Supermarket is a joy! Very friendly staff, very clean and products easy to find. I am able to find products that are not found in other stores. Top all this off with great prices one couldnt ask for more.

Hannaford “To-Go” is a lifesaver!!! Placed my first order yesterday and had my nanny pick it up as I recently had a baby and I can’t really leave the house. Everything was wonderful and there was no issue having someone other than myself pick up the order. The gentleman that took my phone call about picking up my order was very helpful and the whole process was very easy! I am very happy with the products and the service as a whole and will be using this service quite a bit moving forward! Thankyou!!!

Always shopped Hannaford but now trying other stores. Getting very expensive. They will have a great gluten free product then its not available anymore. Always clean, employees helpful. I shopped at Walmart, not an easy store to shop in! Used the same exact Hannaford shopping list and saved almost $20.00. Aldis prices are great too.
