Customer service was FANTASTIC - they were very personable (Mandy sent several follow up emails with lawn tips and tricks for the specific type of sod I purchased). I had never purchased or put down sod before, so I was a bit hesitant - however, the results after a couple weeks looked amazing (and still looking GREAT!). I highly recommend Super Sod; I am thinking about redoing my front yard next summer and I wouldnt think about going to any other company.The first photo below are the results after a few weeks - the other four are from the day I laid the sod. Since the first picture was taken (the one a few weeks after I initially laid the sod), all of the minor gaps have since grown together for a seamless, gorgeous lawn.

The process of ordering and having the sod delivered was seamless and all done via the website & texting (no phone calls needed!). Shomari Johnson was our delivery driver and he was communicative and even early, which I appreciated being able to get a head start laying the sod in the heat. He was respectful and courteous and answered all of my 6-year-olds questions about the forklift/flatbed. If I remember, I will update with photos after 2 weeks of watering.

I tried seed for 2 springs and nothing, I should have just done sod in the first place. Tammy was fantastic and very knowledgable. Sod was delivered on time and couldnt be happier. Once again Debbie Gerrald has went over and beyond to take care of our order this week. It makes a tremendous difference knowing we have the one on one customer service. The company should stick to this model. For years Debbie has worked with our company to make sure we were taken care of. A few years ago we had a lot of changes/expansion come about in our company. Debbie was right there helping our team through the process and making sure we had the trucks and grass we needed. Honestly I dont know if we could have done it without her support and service. The grass (from Super Sod Orangeburg) has always been something we are proud to service to customers, but the support team that gets you there makes all the difference. Charged more for delivery than for the cost of the sod, which I was alright with until they dropped the pallet in the road in front of my driveway instead of in the driveway near where I needed it. (Long driveway).When I called to ask about it, they were unhelpful and told me that I did not tell them where to put it. I told them they never asked. They came and dropped the pallet in the street without calling or simply ringing the doorbell.Follow up. Patrick with logistics followed back up with me and apologized for the lack of communication. He said they normally speak with someone about the delivery. With his help we were able to resolve the situation.The sod was good and worked out well.

I ordered two pallets of Leisure Time Zoysia at two separate times two weeks apart. I had planned to seed my side yard and just use this specific Zoysia around my new pool but I liked it so much I decide to order it for my side yard too! The local office was very helpful with all my questions and for helping me choose a time for delivery. The driver was also very friendly each time he delivered the sod to my home. He placed the sod exactly where I asked him to without hesitation.

Years ago, a friend who is a professional landscaper recommended Super-Sod. Based on that referral, I looked them up when I decided to sod my yard this year. Their initial service was very good. I contacted them again when I ran into some issues that were peculiar to my property. I hoped to get a few tips but was extremely pleased by the breadth of help I received from Mandy and Joe. It is a rare thing anymore to experience such wonderful customer service! Their Emerald Zoysia is gorgeous and all of my plants are thriving in no small part as a result of the Soil3 compost. Super-Sod was outstanding to work with. Right from the beginning of our process when I was investigating options, Mandy with Super-Sod was very informative and honest to help make sure I had a successful experience and did not waste money. She helped plan out prep work before delivery and made special arrangements for a smaller truck that was able to get down our driveway. The delivery experience was also seamless. The driver called to confirm the night before and asked for a preferred delivery time. I said as early as possible and he was at our house at 7am Saturday morning. The sod was thick, lush and green with not a single brown section across all 9 pallets! Our neighbor also ordered sod with our delivery and he said compared to the sod he ordered from a competitor a few weeks earlier, Super-Sod is much higher quality with thicker dirt, greener and overall better. I will only order sod from Super-Sod in the future.

Have used SuperSod to deliver soil and sod. Drivers have been excellent placing products right where I needed them to minimize my work. Planted TifTuf Bermuda and it looks AMAZING!!! Had a couple pieces die. They were brown on install. Sent pics to SuperSod and they gave me more pieces to compete the job. I won’t go anywhere else.

What a great experience! We purchased a gift certificate for a few pallets at an auction and purchased a few additional pallets to finish our yard. I spoke with a few different ladies before we placed our order and they were all wonderful. Paula ultimately helped us once we were ready to place our order and she was extremely helpful with the questions I had. Should we ever need more sod in the future I will definitely be calling super sod.

The quality and value for the money is excellent, the Centipede Sod was ordered and delivered on the same day. A better quality Sod than the competition, plus at a cheaper cost. Will order again.

The service was great and the grass is beautiful, BUT what they didn’t tell us was the millions of tiny spiders that would accompany the sod. I had my yard treated a few weeks prior to putting the sod down but it was pointless when introducing these spiders into my yard and home. I called to have my yard treated again ASAP, but the rain fall was so heavy that I had to wait until it stopped. The day I was able to have it sprayed a thunderstorm came through just 3 hours later. What I feared would happen is now happening, baby and adult spiders everywhere outside and now inside my house. I had my yard sprayed in April, sod put down in May, yard sprayed again in early June and now I need it sprayed again. It would have been nice to have a heads up since the people there do this on a daily basis for many years. There is no way they aren’t aware of the issue.

Super Sod saved us a fortune. We put in pool and ended up having to resod entire back yard. I had bids from landscape companies of up to $5,200 to do it. Super Sod delivered enough sod to do it for $1,330. I hired 2 kids from church to help me lay it down. After paying them both my total cost $1,600. It is GREAT sod (Zenith Zoysia). Mandy Kelly was contact at Super Sod that was wonderful to work with.

I want to write this review to speak about my experience with my sod order from Super Sod of Orangeburg SC. I had a pretty sizable order to fill and promptly installed my sod on the day it was delivered. Firstly, the gentleman who delivered my order was on schedule just as theyd informed me they would be. He also placed the pallets of sod and bags of compost exactly where I asked for him to. Secondly, throughout the entire process, Id dealt specifically with a young lady named Paula Baughman. At the very onset of our communication, Paula was so thorough and efficient in her response, I told my wife that we were ordering our sod from SuperSod, even if competitors near our area were pitching more economical pricing. Thirdly, I had to make a call to Paula because a portion of my yard had quickly turned brown within 24 hours of installation. I wrote the company via email detailing my situation and Paula promptly gave me 3 options to remedy my issue. All of them leaving me very satisfied with believing that the companys motivation to correct my issue was a genuine attempt to make a corrective action, rather than close a contract and leave the issue to me. Kudos to their representative Paula and her amazing customer service.Needless to say, I will be ordering any and all future sod from this company. On time delivery, quality Zoysia sod was in excellent condition and we were very pleased with the result.

We have used a couple of other sod providers and Super Sod has topped them all. First, customer service is prompt, friendly, helpful and INFORMED! Second, they delivered on time and in a COVERED truck - imagine that! Protection for the sod from the sunlight so it doesnt dry out and lose the top layer. Finally, they offer rolls of sod which greatly helps reduce the installation time while still being manageable to maneuver. The prices were competitive with the other companies as well which makes Super Sod our top choice. Thank you!

Emailed for information on getting some new grass in my backyard because my centipede is dying due to lack of sun. Mandy was very responsive and determined that their varieties would probably not work best due to my extremely shady backyard. Saw the business as we were passing by while on the highway. Went on to the business property and viewed the different plots of lawn. No one came out to offer assistance. No information on their product or pricing was available. Good place to view limited choices of lawn grass.

Ordered 3 pallets of tiftuf bermuda sod back in February, delivery was prompt and driver carefully put the pallets exactly where I wanted it in the backyard. After I layed it down, I couldnt believe how lush, moist and thick it was. It felt like a carpet. I had to remind myself it is still dormant! Ordered 2 more pallets in early March, now cant wait for it to green up. One minor bummer, they only deliver full pallets. I just need 100 ft. more. Still super-sod is a great place to get fresh sod.

Mandy helped us with the order and was terrific. The first attempt at delivery was cut short by a week of super-heavy rains. They were not able to get into the fields to cut the sod, but that is what happens when you deal with mother nature. Resecheduling was quick and the truck arrived exactly as told, with a 15 minute courtesy call to let us know they were in route. Drop-off took 5 minutes with a great driver who offloaded the pallets exactly where we wanted them. And the sod was beautiful! Outstanding group to deal with. The folks there are On Their Game. Mandy was great to deal with. I ordered a pallet of Zoysia and for some reason some of the grass did not take hold and died but when I contacted Mandy she offered to send me 20 rolls at no charge with 5 bags of compost soil. I cannot thank her or the employees who delivered the sod enough.
