I had horrible experience 8/3/21 at shelf-check-out. When I couldn’t find the name of the item I bought on the register screen, I asked for help from a middle-aged female employee for help. She was so impatient and rude that triggered my anger, but I held it. With the help of the supervisor, the problem was solved. Now came my fault. I told her I would get to the rack and took a picture of the name over the item. I called her when I was back and she stayed the far end (the opposite side of her post, standing there doing nothing) refusing come to me. “Excuse me, Ma’am”, I called her several times. She kept ignored me and I raised my voice. She yelled back: Don’t’ yell at me. It’s a very popular way that someone blame others for their prior rudeness and bad behavior which would trigger anger with raised voice. We are human being. If she expected respect, she should have shown she deserve it by showing respect to others. Obviously, she is a hater and should not be put on a post like that. When all people around her could hear me, she would not turn around, it’s her posture to fight. Later I talked about it with a friend who said she had a similar experience in this store. I had no surprise. She should know customers only come to the store to shop, not to see a sullen face. That happened in an employee-owned shop is weird. Winco should prevent this kind of human pollution.

It was wonderful, the manager that was on this evening, was very professional, happy to help knew the store, open a register when he saw a lot of people in line, said hello just felt like old mom and pop store shopping, the fresh seafood clerk was the same very patient waited on everyone the same, for the first time in a very long time was good shopping.Orangeville.

Disappointed WinCo isnt enduring mask mandate for all indoors is not managed. There were at least 6+ adults and 3+ children well over 5 that werent wearing masks. Im disappointed the company isnt taking the ongoing Pandemic as serious. They wont allow those without shoes or shirts which may be unsightly, however, potential transmission of a contagious virus is not managed and all are served.

Really nice store, really friendly people, great selection, and, in this area, its nearly your only option. But, fortunately, they havent let that go to their head and they offer great options and friendly service. This is the place to go to stock up on the road!!!

I really appreciate this Grocer, not only do they have the selection I am looking for, there prices on there Groceries are perfect for my budget. I can buy twice the amount of groceries her and still pay less than I would anywhere else.. This location has checkers that know how to get customers checked out and on there way great job! Hello,I dont anticipate this making much of an impact. However, I couldnt help but write into Corporate informing you of what a great, outstanding, hilarious, and genuine employee you have. Thomas was his name and he was my cashier for a $250 transaction. He was very helpful with scanning all my complicated fruits, vegetables. And to top it all off. He had the BEST sense of humor! He had me and my boyfriend laughing so much, it turned our whole day around. He was a natural savant with articulate language, and his timing was impeccable! I will be coming back to stand in his line no matter the wait. He made our shopping experience a zillion times easier & more fun! From one thrilled customer to the service department reading this. Well, I have not had a experience at WinCo till now. I drove 15 miles on a factual promise that they carried refrigerated pet food...NO they do not. And I assumed they had bud lite, and I found none. Really ticked me off. To far to go for nothing!! And there may be an excuse, but alas, its beyond then. Otherwise, no big. Cant beat the prices!! Most of them anyway.D. NelsonLoyal Customer

Should have traveled the extra 3 miles and gone to the Folsom Winco. This store always has minimal stock and doesnt have the same products as the Folsom store. Big sign says masks are mandatory but few were wearing them. I asked the cashier if Winco was enforcing mask wearing for customers and he said no. He went on to say that no one should be wearing a mask...said it was ridiculous. Apparently, he doesnt understand how the virus spreads...AIRBORNE 🙄. Choose a different Winco and stay healthy.

Negatives - Restocking mid day. Carts with boxes and cardboard in the aisle. On a positive, Deli was fast, courteous, and well stocked.

Wide variety of food types, fresh meat and dairy products that dont spoil quickly. Staff has always been very helpful and informative. Visit weekly for groceries. I especially like the lower prices. I do recommend.

I love Winco! Clean, bright and a great staff PLUS always significantly less expensive than their competitors. I rarely shop anywhere else anymore.

Their prices are really good and not on just a few items but on most everything.

WinCo is always well organized and well stocked. You can tell they are managed well. Only drawback is sometimes there is a long wait in the checkout line. However, once it is your turn the checkers are fast and accurate.

Very friendly and the meats were great. I liked the vegetables, very fresh. Everything was easy to find.

Well I have never had to go shopping at 3 am but this darn hint of UTI needed some cranberry juice and pain relief so I did some shopping while I was there anyway. The night crew was busy stocking shelves and other than the beepers on the fork lifts it was so nice, quiet and relaxing. 👍🏻😁

The lady who checked me out, forgot her name, she was like maybe 40 with black hair and pretty blue eyes, was awesome. I forgot some groceries and she made sure I got them back. She was awesome.

This Winco is AWESOME just bought Petite Sirloin thick cut steaks and they have boneless/skinless chicken breasts 2.98LB! The butchers are very helpful. Super service and good choice of premium beers and wine too. Every cashier here is fun and they seem to love their jobs... refreshing!

Great place for most of your grocery needs and then some. They are also significantly lower in pricing then their competitors. They have a large assortment of bulk items for even more savings. Look for their free recipe cards alongside for some cooking ideas.

Friendly cashier, good stock of items and selection. I love that my cashier asked me to wait a moment so that the two ladies in front of me had a few extra minutes to finish bagging their groceries. She didnt want them to feel rushed. It shows that she cares and I had time to wait, not a big deal.

If theres something we have plenty of in Orangevale its supermarkets. Five within a 2 mile radius. Each one has its own merits. You want good produce and meats at high prices, go to Raleys. You want good sale prices, go to Safeway. You want to buy groceries while shopping for underwear and electronics, go to Wal-Mart. But if you want the best OVERALL value for your money, for groceries, Winco is the store youre looking for.

Love Orangevale winco I live close and go there about 3x a day! Deborah is the best most helpful and informed employee they have there! She has helped me find items that other employees were clueless about, she knows the store inside and out. The store is always clean and lines move quick . Costco and winco is how I afford life!

I Love shopping here cause I can a variety of things cheaper here than I can at the Regular Grocery Stores. I really like there selection of Bulk as well.

So to start, Ive been coming to this Winco for over 10 years. When corona hit, I specifically called and made sure I could shop here without a mask. I dont remember the womans name, but she informed me that Winco would like me to wear one, but would rather I come without one to spend my money there, than go elsewhere to spend my money. So I continued to shop Winco, without a mask, this entire time. Today, some guy in a uniform third party to Winco approached me and asked if I had a medical condition. I honestly answered NO. He then asked if I would like one, to which I also said NO. Not a minute later, a supervisor named JON, approached me and informed me that I am required to wear a mask. I put one on to continue my shopping. I then called and spoke to the store manager MIGUEL, who was very polite and helpful. He informed me he would speak to JON. In the same visit, my wife who actually does have a medical condition, and yet is nice enough to wear a thin mask, was denied service by a supervisor named CASSY. She had asked for a specific location of an item and was told youre not wearing a face mask, I cannot help you, and turned away. At no time did she ask if my wife had a medical condition. My wife then called and also spoke to MIGUEL, who apologized and specially said that my wife wasnt in fact required to wear a mask due to her medical condition. Which my wife replied that she at least tries to have some sort of covering. She was almost in tears at this point. MIGUEL is much appreciated, but CASSY was extremely rude. And this makes me not want to shop here any more.

Winco has very reasonable prices and a really big selection of items. I like that they have speciality food items at exceptionally reasonable prices.

Great employees friendly and the store is clean with great products everyone eager to help.

I have always enjoyed shopping at this location. Employees are always so helpful and the store is very well maintained and clean and organized. Prices are moderately priced for the market as a matter of fact some what better than every wheres else.

Lots of stuff, not crowded good prices and parking, decent store.

Clean, fully stocked in every isle & area, prices slightly raised, most people had masks on, as did employees, and the cashiers were, friendly and fast. Whats also nice is that customers are now allowed to bring and use their own bags again, as long as theyre not sat upon and bagged upon the conveyor belt. That sure helps and saves a few more cents.

WinCo and Grocery Outlet are my favorite places to shop for groceries. Prices are usually good and on rare occasions we find good deals.

Now that I live in Carmichael California I have to drive about 15 minutes because this WINCO is in Orangevale but Winco is SO worth it. I can buy like 10 bags of groceries here to 3 at Raleys. It is great if you have a lot of kids like me to feed. Wincos brand is also very comparable to other leading brands. This is my favorite grocery store.

I love the prices but good lord is this store getting ghetto. Its filthy outside, inside can be no better. Produce is a hit or miss, some days everything is moldy and some days its OK. It use to be held to a higher standard, not sure what happened.

Just purchased my second bike here... The service and selection has been consistently great! I wouldnt consider buying from anywhere else.

The store is nicely stocked only issue is the stand alone meat Islands are not nearly cold enough for the raw chicken, most of it was room temperature :/ and alot of the meat was open and pouring out everywhere.There fresh garlic selection was moldy.As far as dry goods they are clean and fully stocked.

Well for being in a town that was decimated its in good shape its the only store that stays open until 10 or 11 I was there yesterday and it was a bit after 10 on my way back to Citrus Heights. Theres a.little Bar/ Restaurant above Magalia another place that got wasted in the Campfire. Its called the Lovelock Inn Ive been trying to help her out but since I moved to Citrus its a long drive. Its a scenic place surrounded by Pines a nice drive except for the revisitation in Paradise and Magalia. Theres all kinds of History up in that area, it was the place where the first large gold nugget was found its weight was 54 lbs. Theres a marker there.
