The vegan food was delicious! So nice to have so many different vegan options and especially brunch! So glad I discovered this place, only wish it was closer to home. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.Yes it was closed to inside dining and only option was food to-go, but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the nice day. Understandable during this tough staffing and pandemic time.
It was a really great place before COVID. Their cinnamon rolls were delicious, their coffee was tasteful. I have checked the information here last Sunday - they were supposed to be open until 2 pm.We came at 1:40 pm. Espresso machine was already off, in the cinnamon roll container we got a fly 😯I am very disappointed that we are loosing our favorite place.
20$ for simple breakfast and cinnamon roll. Cold bacon and no cinnamon roll. I was told everything is in the bag..
Took my family here on Saturday, they are not doing any in dinning only take out or you can sit outside. We ordered a couple things and decided to eat outside. Tables were not clean bees were everywhere. All other restaurants are seating inside no idea why they are still not. Sad to say wont be back
This is my first time coming into this Café. Im by far impressed with the level of customer service that is in this little hole in the wall. ❤👍🏻 the food is delicious and the cafe is adorable. My husband and I got recommend to try this place from a family member and all I gotta say is, were coming back. I will be recommending this place for a lot of people. Great job and keep the delicious food coming!
Great location, casual atmosphere, but superior service. Clean bathroom. Clean tables. Clean Floor. (Big deal to me when eating out) And most of all, DELICIOUS food.I eat Whole Foods, Plant Based and was able to find a few dishes from which to choose. (Tommy, our wonderful server, said they would be happy to accommodate my food needs.)I loved that there were homemade jams, jellies, and local honey available for purchase. The sign out front is small, so it was a tiny bit difficult to find, but far from impossible. This is my new favorite Breakfast/Lunch place! I hope lots and lots of people give it a try, because I want them to stay open FOREVER.
Love this place. Food is always great and staff is so accommodating. I have eaten there 8 times and loved every meal. The only issue I have is allowing a man with a parrot on his shoulder in this restaurant. I’m surprised the Health Department allows this. My neighbor and I looked to see if he was there there before we decided to stay. We will not est there if he is there.Sad, because we love that place. Its a restaurant not a zoo.
Great food
A beautiful experience with an Exquisite seasonal menu!!! The best fries I’ve eaten ever! However the drip coffee was bland, and lifeless. With a good brew this cafe could easily be a five star experience. Two words Coffee press!
We absolutely love this place! This is our go-to breakfast spot, hands down! The food is amazing and fresh, plus they have an espresso bar! The place is locally owned. The owner is super sweet to us and her children help her run the place. They are always super eager to please! The biscuits and gravy is my favorite dish so far! Go check it out!
This place is fantastic and has a good chance of being my go to breakfast spot when Im visiting Sacramento. Top notch biscuits and that I stole from my wifes plate, plus the lox and eggs I ordered might be my go to order as well, but other items are equally interesting and will need to be tried. The people working there also exude a real happy place which is a nice start to the day as well.
We just ate here. The food had a farm to fork feel and the portions were large enough to be filling - great coffee. The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our meal. This is a great place to eat.
We went for breakfast on Sunday, rather than our local bite in old Fair Oaks. The staff were friendly, courteous and prompt to seat us. The menu is limited in choices. A standard breakfast item, Simple Paisley breakfast was selected. The potatoes were not O Brien. They were not crispy, and needed the flavor of perhaps diced bell peppers. The plate was simple, a less creative plating. There are many restaurants that serve abundance of food to feed the hungry, but we wanted to experience a small family owned cafe that would serve an outrageously delicious food beyond compare.
This was just amazing! I just dined there, and I am speechless. Im blown away for how lovely the food tastes. Everything there is scratch-made and very well presented. The waitress is very attentive to all the guests, nothing is furiously rushed, and its all worth the visit. I will definitely recommend this to others, and I highly recommend it to the person reading this review. Surely will visit again.
If I could give 17 stars I would, why 17? Why not??? 5 does not do The Paisley justice, started with some Breakfast Burritos for work and they were a 10 of 10, I am currently, like right this second eating Ozzies Apple Pie & Sweet Potato Meringue pie and hands down best pies I have ever had, you owe it to yourself and everyone you know to bring them to the coolest little amazing Cafe/Diner/Bakery around you wont be disappointed
Super lovely staff and the best veggie and spinach omelet Ive ever had. Coffee is plentiful, the spinach in my omelet is NOT overcooked (how did he do that?!), my omelet is not floppy or drippy or greasy, the toast was hot, and I really do recommend the applewood smoked bacon - you wont regret it. A very clean, fast, and pleasant experience. I am coming back for breakfast tomorrow! Thank you for a great start to my day :)
The food here is amazing! Hands down, one of the best meals Ive ever had! This will definitely become a regular stop for breakfast or lunch! My lox and eggs was one of the most delicious meals Ive ever eaten and my husband was equally impressed by their signature sandwich, The Paisley.
Food was amazing! The owner is so friendly and works hard to make sure her customers are happy. I highly recommend this place!
Quite possibly the best challah I will ever eat. Biscuits like clouds, cinnamon rolls are so good its a moving experience. All of the food at The Paisley Cafe is great! But oh, those magical bakery treats get me every time. So happy theyre finally open!
The staff is amazing and very accommodating! Vegan friendly :) I love how the food is made from scratch, local, and seasonal. The focaccia bread is delicious, definitely recommend it.
I love this place!! It has fast become my favorite place to go for breakfast and lunch. The food is delicious, the staff is very personable and friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming.
I hardly ever write reviews, but love this place so much that i figured Id take the time to actually do it. Seriously my favorite breakfast place right now. The service is great (even when its super busy) and the food is wonderful. I have yet to order something that i dont like, and Ive been told that Im picky about where i go out to eat.
Delicious food, great service, and overall a cute cafe. They have good portion sizes and their cinnamon rolls are tasty. I have been here twice and look forward to my next visit.
Simply amazing! Great food, great atmosphere and awesome staff.
The food was tasty but took an unusually long time to land on my table. Was sort of odd that the butter was cold/in a cold dish and hard to spread due to the texture. Staff was nice, and I should have tried the cinnamon roll, but the service was a bit slow for my taste (~35-40 mins for breakfast with only two other diners ahead of us), and I dont feel our orders were anything unusual
This place is so good I hesitated leaving a review because I dont want it over-crowded. BUT the service is so good and the food so amazing I had to tell people about it. I am a highly critical food guy who makes this stuff at home on a regular basis because it is often not commercially successful to put that much detail and great ingredients into every dish. My wife had a two-egg breakfast with killer toast (Challah) Strawberry hibiscus jam OBrien potatoes GREAT! I had a breakfast burrito that was the best I have ever had. The attention to detail was competition great. Huge chunks of perfectly ripe avocado, egg, buttery tender potato with chorizo I could only eat half of it because it was so big. Service was super friendly. So glad to have this near my home! GREAT JOB!
The food was amazing. The most moist scones Ive ever had, cinnamon roll was great, and the biscuits and gravy was delicious (again super moist biscuits). The coffee wasnt super special but they do have a full espresso bar, and the food more than makes up for the mediocre coffee
Delicious, locally sourced, and made from scratch. Friendly owner and staff with excellent service. Will definitely be back!
Cinnamon rolls are out of this world and always a sweet surprise. With flavors like Nutella, caramel apple, dirty chai, even gluten free how can you go wrong. Thats just the beginning of the wonderful foods in this lovely cafe. The restaurant is clean and bright with a colorful decor. The food never disappoints and the whole staff is friendly and welcoming.
We came to eat on busy saturday morning, had a bit of wait but servers very friendly and food great! one negative bothered me a bit, customer came in with bird on his shoulder and was seated behind us directly. bird was on the table, I dont think sanitary. I will be back, food and serve great
Fresh ingredients, homemade vibe! Vegetarian friendly. Outdoor seating which is dog friendly. Had the daily special of tamales and eggs, was very tasty! Husband had the breakfast burrito, with house made chorizo. Lots of fresh and ripe avocado! Love our new OV breakfast spot.
We enjoyed another great breakfast at Paisley Cafe. This place is such a gem. We gave the cornbeef hash a try this time - highly recommend it. Also, the homemade cinammon rolls were fantastic! My husband had the biscuits and gravy..also fabulous. Be sure to visit this family owned restaurant not only to support local business, but to enjoy their fabulous food as well!
Amazing gluten-free options! So good!I recommend the London fog latte!
Im not going to call, instead Ill put the reason for my review. The owner and her daughters were very kind and friendly. The older thin blonde lady however really rubbed me the wrong way. Im pregnant and she starts out youre due any day now, huh? Nope, I have 3 months to go. Oh, are you having twins? Nope, Im just fat. Like seriously?! Then she proceeded to tell me her mom has my build (fat) and had twins. My husbands order came out incorrect after that, and I ordered avocado to go with my toast which I had to ask for twice to be brought to me. Then, upon trying to pay the bill, that super rude blonde lady was doing something on the cash register for a good 2-3 minutes while I was standing right there before she acknowledged me, she didnt look up but just said give me a minute, Im almost done it wouldve been 4 stars losing only one for the incorrect food as well as the fact they dont have booths which give a lot more privacy, but that really hurt my feelings. In all fairness, the food was good and filling and the owner and her daughters were very sweet which is why I gave two stars, but the blonde lady was really too much to not knock off another star. I really wanted to like this place as we live directly across across the street and eat out as a family very often, but maybe thats why I look like Im pregnant with twins.
I wish I could give a good review because I always want to support the local businesses. We got there 10 minutes after opening and they were no where near ready for patrons, the young man that greeted us was still count out the cash drawer, sat down waited til he was done to come give us menus, ordered drinks(he was very kind) let us know that coffee hadn’t got started so it would be a minute, pastry shelves had nothing in them, tables weren’t set,( poor guy was back and forth )cause by this time 2 more patrons walked in, ordered food, about this time 8:35 the two waitresses walk in and started setting tables and helping customers, while the young man started to stock the pastry shelves. I ordered the avacado toast, didn’t come on the bread it said the micro-greens I could count on one hand how many they put on it and the potatos were cold, on the other hand my mom said her biscuits and gravy was very good. The cafe was full, up & running by the time we left an hour later. I will try them one more time, this might have been one of those bad mornings.
Everything was great but the Biscuits and homemade sausage & gravy are so amazing, prepare to have your mind blown.
OMG. Their pastry is amazing...highly recommend! Great place for coffee and breakfast.
Chef Ozzie is amazing, excellent service, I wish I could eat here everyday.
Great food by a fabulous local family.
Ive had some of their baked goods :) however the avocado toast was skimpy on the avocado and the egg was overcooked.
