The shop owners and their staff were very helpful and their meat and suage we bought was delicious and well prepared. We would go again when we are the area.

I will never take anything to them again. Last season I shot my elk on a Thursday morning and dropped it off at the butcher on Saturday morning. When I went to pick it up they said the front half was full of fly eggs. Less then 48 hours it was dead and in cold temps in game bags. So I lost half an elk from either their stupidity or they confused my elk with another persons. I have been a steady customer for over 25 yrs. They lost my business for good.

CLUMPS OF HAIR IN MY PROCESSED MEAT!!! Utterly disgusted!!! We dropped off a black alpaca -clean of hide & hair- and received meat with clumps of blond hair strewn throughout the processed meat. The meat is now dog food- not fit for human consumption! We already ate some ground, makes me wonder what was in it!Every cut was also too thin. 3/4 steaks and chops do not cook well. Every cut should have been twice as thick. I cannot cook this the way I intended, but then to find HAIR!!! ... incredibly disappointed.I also purchased a pound of their jerky they keep in the front cooler. When I got home I realized it had fuzzy mold all over it!!! I called Shyann Meats to let them know and they were doubtful and showed a lack of concern. No apology. Will never use them again. Clearly unsanitary.

I had some venison made into Peperoni and German sausage. It came out excellent, very lean and tasty. Part of the reason is the meat I took in was of a high quality not scraps. So this tells me they did use the meat I Supplied, not like some that just give you X amount of whatever you ordered from whatever batch is ready. I will be back. Thanks Shy Anns

This was our first time using this company and unfortunately not impressed. The customer service when picking up was very poor which I was going to look past however we are also disappointed in the quality of them wrapping our meat. Some they wrapped great but we also have many packages of meat that were not wrapped well and the meat is not looking nearly as good due to the poor job. I will attach a picture. This is how many of the packages turned out not just the sausages. We picked up just before Christmas and it is February 13th today so about 2 months and so much of our meat us turning brown and getting freezer burn because of the wrap. Definitely bummed.

Nice place. We go here and get bacon and beef. The employees are always really nice and I usually end up buying more than I anticipated.

Love the local meats and simplicity of this local butcher shop. Exactly what we wanted! Sicilian chicken sausage with olives is simply delizioso! Don’t buy it all :) Grazie!

Great Prices. Plenty of options of pre packaged meats. The chicken breasts and legs seem very fresh and are always delicious. It is worth the drive!

Ok everything at this place is very good. My favorites are the teriyaki sticks, and beef jerky. Have been taking my kids there since they were little, they would be so excited about the jerky and beef sticks, like Disneyland!!

The ham I bought here was acceptible, but wasnt so great that Id go out of my way to come back. I live about 30 minutes from the place but came on a recommendation from a friend. I wont be back. The pepperoni I bought I had one taste and it sat in the fridge until I tossed it.

Definitely would not take another animal there to be processed. They ruined hundreds of pounds of pork.

Brought my deer in all skinned and gutted out, forgot to take legs off before the weigh in(for cost) and the guy cut the legs off for me and saved me a few bucks! Havent gotten a chance to get my steaks cooked up at all yet, went to eat in portland tonight. But the black pepper pepperoni is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I had some of my buddies that he had done here too and they werent as tasty as my young bucks but either way its hands down best pepperoni in the state! The turn around on my 63# hang weight buck was 23 days pretty friggen quick! I cant thank them enough.All together, it wasL136$ for 5LBS of ground beef26 pounds made into pepperoni6 or 8 backstrap steaksand the tenderloin(thats a great price!)Thanks for the dealing with my deer ShyAnn!~wyatt sauvageau
