Fat cupcakes is known for their delicious cupcakes which was why my husband and I decided to have them cater for our wedding. The day of the wedding though, our cake was delivered as promise but they forgot our cupcakes! A family member was kind enough to pick up cupcakes from a local grocery store, so that saved the day! Thinking back to the wedding, I am still feeling a bit bitter about the incident, but we had a beautiful wedding so it’s okay! The wedding cake tasted amazing though ❤️

First impressions: passionate and delightful.The cupcakes are more delicious than they look (and they are already nice to look at). I highly recommend. My experience as t the shop was wonderful. The lady who helped us was extremely genuine, and could tell she was passionate about the cupcakes.I was visiting family in Oregon when I discovered this place. I bought cupcakes for the family to share after dinner. This place was a definite winner. Everyone loved it. Im sad there isnt a place like this near home.

I had heard that Fat Cupcake does a free birthday cupcake. I went in to get the vegan chocolate cupcake (so good!). My mother had bought me one before as I cannot have dairy due to my baby being sensitive. It is delicious and quite decadent. I found out it was not a part of the birthday deal but the gal offered me a discount on it. I decided to get a regular cupcake for my hubby and bought the vegan cupcake. Thank you Fat Cupcake for the birthday gift! I really appreciate it!

This is by far the best birthday cake I have ever ordered. The unicorn cake was for my daughters 4th birthday and my kids were blown away. This thing even had edible glitter in the mane. It tasted as good as it looked too! We will be ordering all future baked items from Fat Cupcake.

I went in to fat cupcake to order a cake for my sons 18th birthday. I asked them to decorate it how ever they would like. I was told it would cost extra to decorate it. I was totally fine with paying the extra money for decorations. When I arrived to pick it up, all it said was “happy birthday.” I was then informed they could add sprinkles to it since I paid for decorations. Then I was told I could pick out a cupcake because I was charged to much for the cake.I enjoy fat cupcake and have gone to a few events there. I was truly hopeful that the cake would turn out great and look fun. After seeing other cakes they post online for birthdays, I was disappointed!

The second you walk in the doors the aura of baked goods hits you and your whipped. You gotta at least try a few of the cupcakes and baked goods. We had a really awesome time taste testing the variety of cupcakes. The big cupcakes are 3$ each and the little cupcakes are 1.50$ each. Its a bit expensive for me and my friends at this point in our lives, but definitely tastey treats.

We came today to give this place a try. We ordered 6 different cupcakes and we bite into the first one and it is corn muffin dry. I feel like I just spent 21$ on sandy cake. :(The one I tried first was pretty and pink.The ladies inside are wonderful and thats why they get 2 stars.

Today was my first time coming in and trying their cupcakes. They exceeded my expectations. Cupcakes were flavorful and moist. I loved each cupcake that I picked out. One of my favorites is the lemon one with a snickerdoodle cookie baked on top! It’s perfection. I’ll be back to try more!

We went there twice the first time a guy was sitting out front smoking pot and coughing his guts out with no mask so we left. Second time very little selection we got one frozen lemon and one thawed both stale dry crumbly worst cupcakes ever.

Great, delicious cupcakes. I was however, disappointed that they werent bigger. I feel for $3.50 it should be a GIANT cupcake, not your basic kid party sized cupcake. I would love to make this place a regular stop for my family, but not going to pay that much.

Fat Cupcake is a very great place! They serve wonderful and delightful treats that are great for the whole family. Their prices are better than fair and their food makes you come back for more. I never regret indulging in a sweet treat when I stop by. The sweet cupcakes are deliciously moist, and the frosting is perfectly sweet but never overpowering. My absolute favorites are the Raspberry Rex and the Suit and Tie. You just cant beat those flavor combinations, with that heavenly melt-in-your-mouth quality.The shop itself is adorable, full of bright colors and vintage flair. The employees are always friendly, and ready to answer questions. A great experience.

Super cute shabby chic upcycled coffee shop kinda vibe. Relaxing hangout spot with friends or a book or laptop. I liked the cupcakes. Creative... maybe a little low on selection based on my possibly over zealous expectations, and the cupcakes were a little dry, but still tasty.

I tried Fat Cupcake for the first time today. There was a lot of selection and variety, and I appreciated that most varieties had a mini version, but I admit that I was disappointed in the frosting. Only one type of cupcake had a kinda cream cheese frosting, the rest were buttercream with a slightly chemical taste. In my opinion, cupcakes are adorable little vehicles for cream cheese frosting, so this was a bummer. It was a cute little shop, and I desperately wanted to love it. Perhaps the cupcake designer could add a decadent cream cheese frosting to more of their cakes?

Great cupcakes! We came in today to try them and really enjoyed not only the Suit and Tie cupcake but a scone also. If they could step up their coffee game, then we would be here many mornings.Also, I love they still make bread like the previous owners did. Thanks and welcome to the neighborhood.

Ive been to FAT Cupcake a few times before and loved it, so I just surprised my mom with a visit for Mothers Day! We ended up getting a free cupcake because of the holiday and purchased two other amazingly delicious cupcakes that my mom and I loved. I dont normally go out of my way to specialty places, but Ill always make an exception for FAT Cupcake ❤

I have tried a few cupcakes that friends have bought, but recently purchased 2 dozen for a birthday party. I got the oreo (Professional) and the chocolate peanut butter (Charlie Brown). They were a hit! Plus, the owner is a wonderful person. I will gladly continue to support her and buy these delicious cupcakes.

We ordered 50 mini pink champagne cupcakes for a meet and greet we planned for guests traveling into town for our wedding. They were a HUGE hit and left our friends and family wanting more. YUMM 2 thumbs up!

I dont usually post negative reviews because if I have nothing nice to say, Id rather say nothing. With that being said I am compelled to post that I have been nothing but disappointed since my favorite bakery changed owners. From the immediate price increases and phasing out every single of my familys favorite items its just depressing. I feel it used to have the best bread and muffins in town, now its just a assortment of mediocre cupcakes. We went from being weekly customers to literally having no use for it.

I am generally disappointed in cupcakes, I went back to this place twice in one day they were so good and even had one for breakfast. Anyone who gives this place just one, two, or three stars has poor judgement skills and must be looking for some free handouts because this place is nothing short of amazing. They also don’t use plastic for to go items, which is a huge bonus, take note all other OC businesses.

Scores big on yummy cupcakes; less so on being a destination spot to linger. No complaints with the cupcakes or staff but I was hoping for a comfortable spot to eat the cupcake! This location feels like you are supposed to get in and get out! They do provide seating and coffee, but its bad drip coffee and theres no coffee bar to personalize your drink. I couldnt even find the napkins! When I did spot them, there were only three just kinda limply laying in their neglected trough. Both of these simple things tells me the emphasis is not creating an atmosphere, it just a bakery providing you with desserts to take home - or take across the street to Starbucks. ;)

Delicious cupcakes in large or small with fun flavors and kind staff. Some definitely have peanut butter in them so be mindful if you have a nut allergy!

**update** We ended up using them for our wedding on 9-22-18. We orders multiple cupcakes and did a vanilla layered cake with marionberry filling. WOW! What an amazing decision that was! Everything was perfect and I couldnt ask for better service. If you are looking for a bakery for your wedding, I highly recommened Fat Cupcake. Really great cupcakes! My favorite was the oreo/vanillla cupcake. I follow the Fat Cupcake Instagram account and the owner seems like a really nice sweet gal and amazing to her workers. I also tried the lemon cupcake and it was yummy. Overall a great experience at their new SE PDX location! Cant wait to get some more yummy cupcakes soon
