Most excellent. Had everything l needed fir the lawnmower. WD 40 for hedge clippers. . Ordered the part they didnt have. My son got all his stuff for the dryer hookups. All the staff were knowledgeable, efficient, happy to help with our questions. Great place. I shall return.

A true gem for the city of Oregon. Big enough to have whatever you may need, but, still keep that classic, small town hardware store feel. Very knowledgeable staff, which is rare these days (especially at their big box competitors). The staff at Gladieux has the know how to help you, whether you are trying something for the first time, or, a seasoned pro. A great example of how shopping local means service above and beyond.

When in there yesterday were because were building a house out on lake Erie. Anyways, went in there to pick up some plywood and some insulation for the elevator. Theres an elevator thats constructed on the outside of the house because its a basically a three-story kind of a tower or a box with a giant dex on the other side facing the lake. But anyways I digress, I needed to get some plywood they had it I need to get the insulation they had it. pull through the the bay door there and they loaded it and I was on my way. Price was really really good actually. The best part about this is that it was convenient to the location here in Toledo Ohio. All in all I have nothing bad to say about the place the price was good the people were nice they had what I needed and I was on my way. I have to start taking more photographs but Ive been in such a rush because of this job I havent been able to just you know stop and photograph along the way. But I will from here on out. But if you need something and you need it now and you need a good price and you need it with a smile well then I would go to the Do It center.

Apparently, they believe it demonstrates doing it best, yeah at messing up a brand new machine. Oh, and if youre a woman, you dont know what youre talking about.How about you Key one of your company cars and T-cut the bodywork and see how that works out for you as you did with the Mower?!?! Even a woman knows the bodywork is damaged!Now a retired Nurse and recent widow from a husband who passed away from Cancer Contacted HQ to speak to one of the owners as the other was on holiday, lucky him! A very unhelpful man who seems to have taken over daddys business and is now driving it into the ground with their great customer service of damaging other peoples machines! He said they would look at the damage, so collected the mower to only return it with what looks like they tried to T-cut the scratches out of the bodywork, leaving a brand new mower that looks like it lost a fight against Edward Scissorhands.So would I recommend this company, hell no, not even if I was on fire whilst being sprayed with lighter fluid!However, if you fancy being spoken down to, having your property damaged and no apology for shoddy work received, this company will stick to their slogan Doing it best by messing up your stuff. Dont just take this review word for it actually check out their Facebook 1 star reviews to get to the truth. Good luck boys hope you dont ever need a nurses help in the near future Karma can be painful!

Bought bulk number one top soil I was sold ground up clay. I also placed a an order for a replacement gas cap and was not the right part. In either case no in store credit, exchange, or replacement was offered. I will never go back again.

Took advantage of their pre season mower special. Picked up my Troy Bilt riding mower and returned it damaged with deep scrapes and scuffs. This mower was like new used approximately 20 times, washed and dried after each use. They refuse to repair. I will never return and do not recommend their services.

Its a mom and pop shop and is convenient . My husband and I like to support our local independent shops to keep them around.

Some of the staff were helpful. Some weren’t. Asked to be shown to the brass pipe fitting section and was taken to the black iron and galvanized pipe aisle and told “this is what we have.”- found the bras section myself and got it figured out.Guess I did it best myself.

I like the store, but their small engine repair disappointed me. The engine was a Tecumseh, which they know is out of business, and instead of cleaning the carburetor (which is what I did when I got it back), they kept it for 10 days and charged me a service fee, and DIDNT DO A THING TO IT!! Not happy with that. I took it to another small engine repair shop, and the fellow there looked at it, and told me immediately that it was not able to have parts available, and didnt charge me anything.

Always can find good customer service here. Very helpful staff. My favorite place to fill up on propane too.

6 years ago, our grandmas condo was built, with Gladiuex being the boss of the project, hiring J&Js as a sub-contractor to do the duct work. Fast forward 6 years later, she turns on her heat on a very cold day, and red stuff starts flying out of her vents all over her furniture and carpets. The red stuff that came out of the vents was rust from years of build-up from moisture getting into the ducts. Recently we found out the main duct wasnt even insulated, the coil is cracked, and the entire main duct has a huge amount of rust build-up from excessive moisture over the years. She contacted Gladieuxs, only to be told that if she tries anything in the legal stance, that they have two attorneys on their side, so he would win that fight in court. Theyre refusing to fix it, or even pay the bill of $3600 dollars from a quote from a completely different company, since J&Js refused to do anything to help her, as well. Also add in Gladieuxs not putting a warranty on her house for the duct work, so shell have to pay put of pocket for a company to come in and fix it. Now shes constantly being harassed by phone calls and voice messages from Gladiuexs, with no explanation as to why theyre even calling now since theyve refused to help her. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I would not recommend this company to anyone! They are way too cocky and are not there for the customer if anything goes wrong that would make them look bad.

Thanks Gladieux! Dropped my John Deere tractor off there OVER 2WEEKS ago for a blade change and deck adjustment and still dont have it DONE yet? I was Promised back 3 different times...still at their shop! BUT because of YOU we now have a Beautiful brand new Tractor and all the good stuff to take care of the farm from a reputable company who takes Care of their customers! Very Sad.

Although the store has anything you can imagine- hardware, they are NOT service oriented in the mowing repair and sales dept. getting information out of them was like pulling teeth. Had our mower for several weeks. Didn’t put in parts when received. Had to keep getting put at the end of the line. Then tried to sell us a new mower???

Went there to look for a new mower, I was going to finally invest in a zero turn and the new Cub Cadet caught my eye. My wife and I went and checked one out and Trent in the mower department let us test drive one right off of the showroom floor. We went back on the week-end to purchase the mower and took my 2 boys(7 and 9). The youngest one decided to try and start a mower and got scared when it fired up and I gave him the look. He was upset so my wife took him and his brother to look at bird feeders while I was filling out paperwork. As they were walking around a lady working there felt bad and gave him a piece of candy and as I was at the counter Trent took hats and sunglasses to the boys to make them feel better! The nice lady at the checkout was as sweet as can be as well! Just an all around great experience! The place is run like a small town business where everybody is helpful and nice! I live in Ida, MI but will continue to give them my business, it is worth the drive!!

DO NOT BUY BULK TOP SOIL! Not onlyIs the dirt poorly screened and full of gravel, you wont get what you pay for. I made the mistake of giving my business to the little guy. Bought 6 yards of dirt delivered and they only brought me 4 yards. Went back to the store and the owner offered to stop at my house to see for himself. Long story short, he didnt keep his word. 4 days later I get a call telling me they brought all my dirt the first time, but theyll give me an extra yard no charge for the inconvenience. So here I am now, still short dirt. My projects were put on hold for nothing. In the end I paid for 6 yards and they brought me 5. Your shorting me of my $36 of soil will cost you the $140 of dog food Ive bought from you every month for the last 4 years. My business will now go to your competitor.

This is my hubby’s go to spot for all of his mower equipment needs! They have a gentleman who works on all the mowers and there is nothing this guy can not fix!! The prices are kinda hefty, but you get what you pay for . The gentleman who fixes mowers and snowblowers and such will fix and make your used merchandise like new again!!! Can’t beat that! The wait for your equipment to get back is kinda long but again this guy takes his time with your used stuff and makes it new!!I accidentally used my hubbys new blower and ran it on half choke, and just messed it up, this place Gladieux fixed it and it ran like new again!! Thanks for that, or I would’ve had to replace it since it was my fault.
