We had an unfortunate mishap with our garage door, but Overhead Door of Utah Valley turned it into a gain. We traded out our old boring white door for a simulated wood grain door and LOVE it. Now were not so sad we mangled our old door. Chad Henry is fantastic if you get a chance to work with him. We also worked with a Justin...also fantastic. All-around a great company that stands by their products. I highly recommend them.

My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. I started down this path in June and it finally completed in October. This has been filled with no communication, missed deadlines, wrong garage doors, repair work, lied about showing up to my house to repair. I will outline the fun this has been.June 24th - Contacted Chad at OD of Utah ValleyJune 25th - Signed the contract and paid my 50% deposit. Was told the timeline would be 3-4 weeks from then.July 6th - Emailed Chad asking if everything was still on track. Received a response back that it will be 2 weeks before he sees them. (He didnt even check, just wrote me that to end the convo).July 27th - Emailed again - 2.5 weeks passed my last email. He responded by saying there was a backorder on my door. I would have never known about this if I did not reach out. This makes me believe that he never checked when he said two weeks and he wasnt planning on telling me there was a delay. He said he would check with the factory and get back to me.July 28th - Emailed Chad, No Response. I then got a response saying that a tech will be out there on August 7th.Aug 7th - They installed the doors but they are the WRONG DOORS and look absolutely silly. I had people comment on them and the installer told me This happens way too often and apologized and left. I text the sales rep, Chad, and instead of an apology just said send pic. Then texted the owner and he blamed covid. I texted a few times back and forth and we decided to wait till Monday and see the fix.August 10th - Was told by the installer he was going to swing by and fix it. He then texts me later in the day that he wasnt feeling well and someone will come out tomorrow.August 11th - I called the office - They did not have me on the schedule and promised me that they would take care of me tomorrow. At this point, the sales rep is now ignoring my calls and text messages.August 12th - Called the office several times in the morning. I was NOT on the schedule. Finally got a call from the service manager and he was very nice. But he was not even aware of my issues. He wanted to see if I could wait another day but I did not trust the company. So they made it happen on the 12th. A short while after the fix. There were some issues with the door. I let the office know and someone would get back to me.September 16th - Their accounting team emails and asks for payment. I told them I will pay the balance when my door is fixed. I got a call shortly after and said I will get a call back to schedule my warranty repair work. No one called.October 9th - Their accounting emails me and asks for payment.(She is really nice). I let them know that no one showed up. She then told me that a tech signed a warranty work order for my place. I have a dozen cameras around my house and I was not even home. No one showed up.October 12th - Techs showed up and fixed the door. One door was out of balance and the other door was not set in right and had a wheel not even on the track.  I then paid 2 days later since it was finally fixed. 109 days later...TL: DR - This whole process was a joke, no one took responsibility. So much of this could have been fixed with better accountability and communication.

I called Friday to get a quote, they said they could have someone come look at it and send us a quote by Monday and we had the door replaced today (Thursday) they were super nice and good about working with our schedule.Steve was super nice and professional!He came when he said he was going to and did a phenomenal job! We’re super impressed.They have amazing prices and charged exactly what we were quoted and made it super easy to pay.I was super impressed with everyone I’ve spoke to and dealt with.We will be using them in the future! Highly recommend this company.

Steve called me in the morning to see when a good time would be for him to come and fix my garage door, he kept in contact and was there when he said he would be. He explained a lot and lined the garage back up so it would open properly, he then oiled the rollers and did some touch up work. Great job and it was very affordable. I would recommend this company to everyone.

Call them when my garage door was destroyed in a big windstorm. They had a technician out the following morning, and were able to install a brand-new garage door in just a few hours the following day! They did an excellent job, and they were priced better than anyone else I called. Highly recommended.

Brandon helped install a new motor/operator for our home. He did a great job, was VERY helpful setting up the new keypads/remotes/app etc. Service was great, the new operator is MUCH quieter than the old one. Very happy with Brandon and Overhead door. Garage door was dented after one of the kids lowered it while my wife was pulling out. Called these guys and they were easy work with. They presented several options to fix or replace, along with the different costs. Didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me anything, just provided the options. We ended up going for the cheapest fix for now, but plan to replace the door in a year or two with a better looking door. Prices seemed very reasonable. Steve was great!

Kim and his team at Overhead Door of Utah Valley were fabulous. I had ordered a garage door through somewhere else and it was very disappointing. So I worked with Kim and he was able to show me their expansive line and custom options. I cant tell you how THRILLED I was when it was installed. It is absolutely gorgeous! I researched many companies to look at a faux wood garage door and by far they make the BEST wood look alike-for a fraction of a cost and much less maintenance! I am very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Had one of our business doors springs snap, called and within a short while Steve stopped by to see if he could help.The doors are probably over 40 years old so we weren’t sure they would have parts. The best garage door company in the valley, hands down! They have a friendly, knowledge staff that are extremely helpful. Their pricing is fantastic, cheaper even than online, and nearly half the cost of local competitors for the parts I needed. They had everything I needed in stock and even carried it out to my car. I had them install a new garage door several years ago at a different house, and was very pleased with their pricing and service at that time as well. Cant say enough good things about them!

Met these guys at the Home and Garden show. They were one of two that I spoke to... They promptly contacted me and set a time that was convenient for me to meet with them. For me that was the reason I picked them over the other guys. Steve helped us pick a style that would look good on our home and educated us on the different qualities that are available. He Returned virtually the next day and installed the door. We couldnt be happier with the quality of the door and the quality of the install. Very professional!

I was very pleased with the customer service that was provided. I had some issues with my current opener that was starting to fail. We have an older garage door opener that broke a gear and sprocket I believe is what it is called the part on the motor that the chain turns around completely popped off when we tried to tighten our chain up and it busted. They did a quick repair after coming to assess what needed to be repaired. The part was not on the van so they came back the next work day morning and fixed it quickly! Glad they did not sell us a new motor like we thought we might need. Helped us make our old motor work for a few more years hopefully.

My garage door broke and was stuck partially open. I called 6 places for an estimate on a new door. Overhead Door was the lowest price, best selection in stock, fastest to come install, and best costumer service. The other places gave the bare minimum of information. Chad not only answered my questions but volunteered information which was great because, while I knew what I wanted, there were common questions that I hadnt thought about. Morgan was very nice and helpful as well. I called on a Thursday. Chad came that day to make sure we had the right measurements and Steve installed the door on Monday. My new door looks great! Other companies were going to take anywhere from 10 days to 7 weeks to install a basic white door. Everyone I interacted with was nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend Overhead Door!

Had a great experience with Overhead Door. Torque bar on our garage door gave out, making it so we couldn’t use the garage door and messing up other parts or the door. We use the garage for our cars and are going in and out throughout the day. Being it was the middle of winter made this even more of a total pain.Overhead Door was immediately available on the phone and sent a technician out within 24 hours. We replaced our loud garage door motor with one that is super quiet. Our bedroom is above the garage and it always wakes one of us up when the other has to leave early. I loved just sending a message and getting a very quick response and quote. They were very helpful answering all my questions. I was asked to text some pictures of my garage door. Diagnosed the problem and gave me an accurate quote in minutes. Kept me informed throughout the morning as to where they were and when they would arrive. Never had to leave the site to get parts. I cannot risk the garage staying open and broke. This company is great to work with. Brandon came to my house and replaced the motor to my garage the same day I called, he was also very knowledgeable and professional.

So, my garage door decided to get stuck in the UP position due to the cable coming off the end pulley and tangling. I called the Overhead Door Co. and the scheduler said she would contact the nearest service person. Steve N. called shortly after and said he was 25min away and would stop by. He took a look at things and not only fixed the problem I had, but also spotted an issue that could have become another problem in the future. He inspected, lubed and fixed everything in less than 40 minutes and all was working smoothly again...all at a reasonable price.These guys really helped me out considering my garage was wide open with all my valuables and while I hope I won’t need their help any time soon, I definitely will have them back in the future when I do need service work done.Thanks again Steve and OHD

These guys are awesome! We had a massive gust of air come through and tented one of our garage doors...I know, I thought my wife had tried to drive through it until I saw with it my own eyes. But these guys came by super fast and changed the door out with a much better (and stronger) one. We also had this door insulated. The service was perfect. We noticed how much nicer/quieter/better looking the new garage door was compared to the other one, so we changed that one out a month later too. Hats off to these guys - they do great work!

Was great that they called to schedule appointment on the same day. However, technician, Steve, was very unaccommodating and it was difficult to schedule a time. Instead of calling to tell me the job was completed successfully he sent me a text message to tell me the door was damaged because we used it and I felt like he was telling me off. Kind of weird. Last weekend the spring on your garage door broke. We called Monday morning and Dave answered our call. He met us at 1:00, he called to give us a heads up and was right on time. He explained everything and was very professional. He charged what he quoted and we will use him again.

I called all over Utah county getting bids for a garage door. I wanted the cheapest one I could find. Utah Garage Door Outlet was the cheapest. I only worked with them over the phone. I didnt even have to be home when they came to install it. I paid them over the phone when the job was done. They showed up when they said and they actually brought a better door than I had ordered without charging me more. They said the cheaper door I ordered was not available like they had thought. Ive had the door nearly a year without any problems.

OHD was easy and very professional to work with. The techs were knowledgeable and friendly.

Wasnt a huge fan of their customer service.Chad was an incredibly nice guy on the phone, but his technician that was supposed to call to let me know a time didnt call me until I had left two messages.Our garage door broke 1year and 2 months after it was installed, and was out of warranty already.The guys that came to fix it were quick, but kept implying I broke the door by sticking a metal latch through the metal guide (spoiler alert: I didnt), and didnt really give it a thought to consider something else broke, and try to make sure this doesnt happen again. I wont be calling them if the door breaks again.

So far I dont even know if it deserves 2 stars. I ordered my new garage door and opener the end of May. We were told it could take 6 weeks but since it was the end of the month we would probably have it installed by the end of June. We were told about a week before installation someone would come out to our home and measure and make sure everything was ready. I also had to pay the full price at the time I ordered the door. I never heard back from the company so I called them on June 27th and was told that my door was in and installation was scheduled for the next day. The installer came out and said it would be a 2 person job and left. I called to ask what the problem was and the salesman forgot that we told him about a machine that would be in the garage that couldnt be moved. He said hed call me back. Three hours later I called him again and he said that it couldnt be installed until the next week, now July 5th. Im pretty sure if they didnt already have my money the installation would have been quicker. I would have cancelled at this point but I dont want to have to wait any longer to have another door ordered from another company. I wouldnt recommend this company at this point in time. Maybe that will change after delivery. They did send someone out on Friday and the only things that need to be moved are the things that could have been moved, and the installed was told that could be moved fairly quickly when he was there on Thursday.
