We were told that our doors we ordered had a stucco appearance, not woodgrain. It was a new offering from Clopay. When they arrived, they had a truly hideous woodgrain appearance. The salesman came out and said there must be a mistake as they looked terrible. Later, he stated that Clopay told him thats what we ordered and we were stuck with them. I would not recommend D and D as the only thing that matters is money and certainly not customer satisfaction. Take a look and see if youd like these ugly doors on your new house?

After seeing the not so great reviews. I still went ahead and scheduled a service call. Technician never showed up. I called the office an hour after my time window and was told technician may be running late. So I waited and still no technician arrived. Office is now closed and never got a call to say no one will show up. I even left work early today. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.

If I could give 0 I would. Had an appointment for a technician and no one showed. I called 1hour later since I was not given a courtesy call. Waited thw whole day and tech arrives when I had to pick up my child. Tech waited for a few minutes after speaking with me and left. Would not recommend.

Excellent service, unfortunately didn’t catch his name. But he was early to the appointment. Gave me options of how he could fix my issue. Then quickly repaired it under the hour he said it would take. Very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend if you need any garage door installation or maintenance.

This is the first time I ever wrote a review about a company. I called to schedule an appointment to have my Garage Door fixed. They were supposed to show up on Tuesday between 2-4pm. They never showed up or called. The next day I called them and they gave me an appointment for Thursday between 12-2pm. They never showed up. When I called them back they said they couldnt get a hold of the technician and wanted to set up another appointment. Their horrible reviews speaks for itself. You will see numerous reviews complaining about the same issue.

This company is trash. I called last week Wednesday to schedule for this morning. Its now past my 2 hr window, no one is answering the phone in the office and nobody bothered to call and let me know whats happening. I should be asleep for my shift tonight buy apparently my time doesnt matter.

My problem was with customer service. I couldn’t even get to a technician. They gave me a two hour window and never showed up. I called after that and they said they didn’t have the part but never bothered to call and let me know. I rescheduled for a first morning appointment and again I had to call and they said they did not have a technician to send out and they would be looking for one. Again never bothered to call. I then called corporate and they told me they would get to the bottom of it and call me an hour later and it’s now four hours later and have not heard from them. I booked with another company and the technician is already on the way today.

Lost a customer*******Id rather go zero stars but not an option. I will not patronize this business again. They do not stand behind their word. I had them out because my pull cord broke while trying to open garage. When he arrived he said it was my spring. No problem I can deal with that.I asked him if he could replace cord because it is needed in emergencies. He said that he would. It took almost 4 weeks to get the part. I had to call twice to see what the hold up was. I was told that someone would call me when it arrived. They did not, I ended up calling back and they finally scheduled me. This was back in December and January. He repaired the door but he did not replace the pull cord, I was working from home so I was not monitoring him and I just realized it this week. I called and explained to the young lady and she said she would get someone back out to replace it, she said she was going to send someone that works the area so that hes not going out of the way. She never quoted me a service fee of any kind. She made it seem like he was just going to stop by on his usual route. When he arrived today he did no work until he stated that it wasnt under warranty which I knew. The previous job cost me over $200 dollars, so I knew that and at the time my house was 3 years old. He then quoted me the price of $5 for the cord and a service fee of $99. I asked him how long it would take and he said 5 mins. I want to know why would you charge a possibly returning customer $99 for 5 mins? To me its not worth losing that customer but if this is how you do business, I no longer want any part of it. I will never use this company again. Even if I had to pay more, they wont receive my business because of the dishonesty. I know what he told me when he first came and then today he flat out lied about the conversation. Then I call to complain and all he cared to tell me was we do charge a $100 service for 5 mins of work.🙅🏽‍♀️.

I recently bought a home that this company outsourced for the garage door and motor. They installed EVERYTHING damaged and incomplete. Since March 1 we are waiting for the service. Then they called that the technician could not come that he was coming Thursday and he came without the parts or anything. I agree to return Friday and he never came. Then I call the company and they tell me that they are coming Wednesday. And they never came. The best in inrresponsibility, bad service and above all materials that poor quality. They remove the motor and don’t show again.

Came out to fix garahe door after rental company told them opener had to be replaced and had no supplies to fix. Scheduled appointment 6 weeks later and then no call no show. Go elsewhere they do not care and will not respond to calls.

Recently moved into a community where this company installed the garage door. I have had many problems with my door not closing, in particular, on cold mornings. They have come out and the problem still exist. Another appointment scheduled with window between 10 and 12. At 2:40 PM, technician still has not shown. No call from the company whatsoever. Only excuse is that the tech got held up and no window time can be given. Customer service is awful and very disappointed.

My garage door seemed really loud and seemed to have too much movement in the wrong places for only being a year old. Peter from D & D Garage Doors immediately found multiple issues with the install and fixed them all. My door is now near silent and moves only where it should. His attention to detail was very impressive, he even adjusted our sensors so it was easier to clean under. You can tell he really takes pride in doing a good job and it really shows in the final product.

Im just going to leave this comment here so that your business understands the time sensitivity with responding to my complaint that I made today over the phone. Whoever was driving your truck in Winter garden at 4:30 today in vehicle 304 purposely tried to run me off the road at the intersection of Stony Brook parkway turning onto Avalon. you know exactly what you were trying to do purposely turning your vehicle into the lane so I couldnt turn in after cutting me off at the previous light. I was probably moments away from having a child in my car at my daycare. I hope your business takes this complaint very seriously and responds accordingly. This person should not be doing business or representing your business and using your company vehicle as a weapon.

My neighbor suggested this company to me after I was having some issues with my garage door not closing. My technician was Peter and he was amazing! Peter took the time to troubleshoot the issues we were having and was attentive enough to notice other issues involved with my particular case. My garage door wouldn’t close. Not only did he get the job done in a timely fashion, he also took the time to explain how the door works and made suggestions on how to avoid issues in the future and greased our spring. I especially appreciate that he was patient enough to bare with my questions and explain to my mom and I what was going. My family and I were really grateful for his assistant and great customer service that went above and beyond. This was our first time using D&D. I would definitely use this company again and I highly recommend that you request Peter as your technician.

I had this company redo my garage a few months ago. The day they installed it, I could not get the door to open. They had to come fix it. In addition to the door not opening, the door was not level so it began acting up again. Now it won’t open again.I’m very disappointed with my experience, and very dissatisfied with the quality of work this company thinks is satisfactory.

I called D&D on Friday afternoon about my garage door making a horrible noise. A very nice young woman named Mo helped me to schedule an appointment for the next week. Then I realized that my door would not close anymore. I called back and spoke to Mo and asked her if there was any way that they could come out sooner. Mo was was super nice and asked a service tech named Nick Miller to come and help me. Nick was amazing he came around 7pm on Friday to help me. Nick is very good at what he does. He figured out that the spring had failed. He helped me to get the door closed for the night. He searched for an available part but could not find one that day. He was scheduled to come out the next week do to a delay from an impending hurricane. The next day on Saturday morning when they were officially closed I received a call from Mo. They had found a part and Nick came out and installed it. Thank you so much Nick and Mo your kindness and understanding made a world of difference.

I am certain this company does not understand the product that they are selling. I spoke with a salesman who was friendly with great social skills. Outside of that, there was information of what I was purchasing that was not passed along to myself or to the company itself.I ordered a high lift garage lift with deco. Sounds simple enough but it clearly was too much for them to handle. Let alone it taking weeks for them to get the material in stock, when they came out to installed it the deco was missing from the shipment. I then had to wait another 2 weeks for it to come in.When they came to install it, the deco ended up hitting the ceiling trim of the garage frame, preventing the door to fully rise. This damaged my trim. Simple fix, it wasn’t pierced at all, only the paint was scratched. On top of that, the ceiling light they installed had a malfunctioning circuit board that would trip the light on and off regardless of the settings put into the keypad for it. Also, they never told me during the sale I was getting a keypad for the door. I was almost cheated out of part of my purchase due to the first installer who came who didn’t seem to care.I then had to wait weeks again for them to come, completely install the garage door correctly, install the keypad that comes with this purchase and install the deco but they kept pushing the light fixture off. It took them about 3 trips to get out to my house for them to replace the light.Now, its been about a month since the small damage accorded and they have yet to act on it. I am certain they have loss money on my account for the amount of times they had to role a truck out to my house with workers, on the clock.And that makes me a little happy because this company is incompetent. They are friendly sure, nice people but as a company working as a unit to provide a service, they clearly have no idea what they are doing or why.

They did the initial install on my garage door. I called them to take care of it and the manager said he could not honor the warranty because the owner of the business no longer does warranty service calls. I asked if they would compensate me for the call from a reputable installer and they refused. I hired the company anyway and their tech found fault with the initial install and the manager of D&D still refuses to compensate me for the bill. Will be telling all my friends about their lack of customer service

Absolutely disappointed in their service. After trying to get my garage door fixed for some time, I was utterly frustrated with D&D’s lack of attention to my matter as they themselves were the one’s at fault. I refuse to waste more of my time arguing with them over a poor job they did for my garage. Definitely do NOT recommend them...extremely lacking in customer service and accountability.

Very impressed with this company and service technician Todd B. Had 2 door opener belts that needed to be replaced. Very reasonable cost with the labor to replace and didnt try to oversell me on unnecessary parts/services (as another company tried to do). Technician also spent the time to do minor adjustments in the springs to properly adjust the doors. Will DEFINITELY use these guys again if ever need garage door service!!!!!

I must say that this company is one of the most reputable companies Ive ever dealt with. Had an issue with my garage (while in warranty) and after waiting for the company (Chamberlain) to send the parts; once they came in the garage opener still did not worked. The installer (Todd B.) called Chamberlain 3 times and his superiors to resolve my problem. Todd B. was very professional. I am glad to deal with professionals that love what they do.

TERRIBLE- I do not recommend this vendor. Absolutely worst customer service experience, first appointment they gave me the window from 3 pm to 8 pm and NEVER showed up. I contacted the vendor almost 8:30 pm and they had no idea it was a no call no show, and never called back to re-schedule. I reached out the following day and they said they would be home within 2 hrs, and again nothing. Plus my favorite when I called to follow up the company hung up the phone on my face. I had been so frustrated with other so called professionals who would schedule an appointment but wouldn’t show up. I finally got the D&D Garage Doors info from a neighbor, and from the moment I called in to the moment I paid them the customer service was impeccable. They got here on time, communicated with me what the problem was, fixed the problem quickly, and didnt try to sell me any extra unnecessary parts. I highly recommend these guys, you won’t regret it!

Rollers on my 30+year old double doors were shot. Ball bearings were breaking down, door was beginning to stick. Called D&D yesterday, Jennie said no problem. She gave me a time frame of 12-2pm for a tech today. Fernando arrived at 11:35!!! We discussed the problem, and he began. After 30 minutes I went into see how it was going, he was finished. One roller had no bearings at all. 10 rollers and its like new. Fernando is awesome. Past customer, its why I always call them when I need door help. Great, fair price too, Thanks D&D. Excellent, speedy service. Price quoted was the exact price billed.I called on Monday and arranged to have my springs replaced on Tuesday. They gave me a 2 hour window (3-5 PM) and Willie arrived at 3:30 PM. He was very friendly and worked quickly, replacing both springs and lubricating the moving parts in about 30 minutes. He answered all my questions about the service and the retractable screens we had been considering.Would definitely recommend this company and will absolutely purchase the retractable screen when were ready. 100% Satisfaction, A+++

Needed to install a new gate operator at my home and Liftmaster was highly recommended to me. Had a few companies come out to quote and consult. Worked with Phil who was by far the most knowledgeable regarding the job and he assured me the job would be done right and up to spec. Initially there was an issue with a sensor but contacted Phil and they were immediately back out to correct the issue and the gate operator has worked like a dream ever since. I highly recommend D and D and especially Phil as they are not only an authorized Liftmaster dealer but also stand behind their work.

Scheduled a free estimation with d and d and got an appointment with in 48hrs. Ernie showed up on time and replaced my broken spring and opener as it got damaged when the door could not be opened because of the broken spring.Very professional friendly service from Ernie. He cleaned up after he was done and disposed of the broken spring and opener.Truly a pleasant experience.

Omar called before arriving on time. I was somewhat surprised to see only one person, but he assured me that he would be finished in 5 hours. He was! He completed the job on time and the Orange County inspector noted that by the installation he knew this company was one of the best. I would use them again - especially if Omar was the installer.

I recently purchased 2 Chamberlain WiFi enable garaged door openers from Lowe’s. I purchased installation via Lowe’s and I was charge an installation fee for both garage door openers even though it’s a single job.The installer arrive within the allotted specified. The installer was very personable and upbeat. In my mind I thought this was going to be a great experience. I thought wrong. My brand new openers have scratches on the bottom of the devices. It appears that after the rails were installed the motor was being drugged across the garage floor to connect the rails to the springs. Why not put down a mat or towel to prevent scratching?I also discovered drywall debris inside the cover on both openers. That finding made me investigate even further. I discovered the tech made the holes in my garage ceiling larger for no apparent reason. By this time I starting to fume.The straw that broke camels back was finding that one of the garage door opener button that is mounted on wasn’t firmly secured to the wall. When I called the company to inform them of the button not being secured to the wall they weren’t able to send a Tech out the time. They recommended that I contact Lowe’s to draw up another installation agreement. So I decided to fix the issue myself. I shouldn’t have to do that since I paid my hard earned money for a professional.Also the Tech never cleaned up the mess that was left behind. I wish I would’ve took pics of all the debris that was left behind.Does the openers work? YesShould there be scratches on the device? NoAre you satisfied with your experience. What a lousy operation. No emergency number. Its Sunday and the door (less than one year) is broken. We are now stuck at home and can not secure our door. We are stuck with this Mickey Mouse company because this is who our builder used. Brand new home with a him garage door. And this is the SECOND time this same thing happened. The only reason they even recieved 1 star is 0 stars was NOT an option.An appointment was made, they picked the time. Between 12 -2pm. I waited at home and NO one showed up. NO phone call from the company.When I called them and the answer I got was our service person went home early. They advised that they attempted to call the phone number but it was out of service (untrue).When I asked for a discount on the $89 service call if i re-scheduled I was told NO. After consulting a manager I was told they would give me a discoumt of $4.25 off the service call price.This company has NO integrity and clearly does NOT care about customer service.
