Employee with birth-control glasses wouldnt make a return on a nonalcoholic drink after I purchased it 5 seconds prior. He said, sorry, its getting kind of late. i dont know if thats legal. I reiterated it was nonalcoholic... So frustrating I didnt want to give them any more money.They dont supply a lot of the best stuff they once had either.

It took this guy 20 minutes to count 7 bucks in cans, not a pleasant place.I been to cleaner bottle return businesses like mahans on Stillwater oldtown .not going again.

Great place to bring bottles/ returnables. Dont see what people mean by them shorting you they give you exactly what you brought.However someone working inside was rude, made me wait 15 minutes to check my ID when trying to buy alcohol then asked for two more forums of ID and decides not to let me buy anything? Could have told me from the start or even got someone else to check, maybe a manager? Never buying from here again.

I came in with $5 worth of returnable that I counted before going in, they found one bottle not returnable here in the state, that should have brought down my total to $4.95, nope instead they said that I only had $4.65 never again will I go and return my bottles and cans there. Thanks for ripping me off $0.30. Ill go back to a reputable redemption center Jrs Redemption on South Main Street in Brewer, ME.

This was an amazing experience. I am from New Mexico and had no idea about the rule for crushing cans. The gentleman that assisted me wouldnt break the rules by accepting crushed cans, but he did work with me to straighten out every can that we could. He must have spent hours salvaging cans with my partner and I until we were all done and only a few extremely flattened cans were wasted. My only regret is not getting the man that helped us name. He was working Friday morning and he is from Texas originally. Whoever you are, you rock!

Widest selection of wine, beer and spirits in the area. Not much you can’t find here. All price ranges and varieties, with a helpful staff. On site redemption center is a definite plus.

Ive been going to B & Bs since I turned 21 and they have always been friendly quick with their service and knowledgeable as well! I always recommend people to B & Bs as the selection is one of the best in the area.Plus Cesar is an awesome dog that roams the store in search of love from the patrons.

Found everything I wanted, they even carry absinthe and in some variety, surprisingly enough

Ill start this off by mentioning that I used to make a point to exclusively buy all of my adult beverages at your establishment. So I was extremely disappointed when I brought back bottles and realized I had been shorted quite a bit. (When we buy beer we buy bottles and always save the boxes to store empties until they are returned) After the guy finished counting what seemed to just be some estimate he came up with he gives me a receipt to get the cash. I get back to the car and realize that the amount of money I received just barely covered the 12 packs I hauled in. I didn’t receive anything for the 6 packs or the two large black industrial trash bags filled with miscellaneous bottles. When I went back in (Mind you I was using a laundry basket to make the trips in and it perfectly fit a certain number of boxes each trip; which made it pretty simple to figure out my total for at least those) the guy said that there were some he wasn’t able to take, and I wasn’t going to argue with him. I’m just curious what guidelines do you go by when deciding what is suitable and what isn’t. I’m not sure how perfectly stacked rinsed out beer bottles aren’t acceptable? In addition to the two entire trash bags worth? If that was the case how come I wasn’t offered these back?

Great place to drop off your cans and then get more. The whole place is kind of sticky because of the can return but their walk-in fridge makes up for it.

One of the few places in Maine to buy absinthe. Decent prices too!

Youve gotta love Burbys. Amazijg selection of beers, wines, and hard liquors. From 6 dollar fifths of vodka to 300 dollar bottles of scotch, Burbys has it all. Large beer cave, friendly staff, as well as an on site redemption center, this is the go to place for liquor in Orono.
