Love the place and the very nice recycling team in the parking lot, been around for years

They are friendly enough and have a generally good selection of quick stop grocery items. Sandwiches are decent but a little pricey. The bread is house made and tasty, but they ration tomatoes like is wartime during a famine! So thin you could read braille through them. My biggest critique is that the store is kinda rundown and cluttered. Still it fills a need and is convenient for those who live and work on the north side of town.

They are the best store to get a homemade sandwich, the best bread is the one they make themselves, the beef t is so soft, it melts in your mouth.

We bought 3 sandwichs, and I rate them a 10. The father and daughter, who fixed them, were wonderful. Very pleasant, too.

I go to Collins and Denny for there fresh made sandwiches.and they take ebt.

On the plus side, they have really nice owners and staff. Everyone is friendly and gives your that small store charm, and the deli rivals every other sandwich shop in town.Unfortunately, the products and prices arent that great - mostly generic brands of basic items that are about 20% higher than everywhere else (and expired). This is the type of place you go to in an emergency, or for the deli at lunch. Their COVID compliance is also notoriously bad (masks arent worn correctly and more than 50% of their customers could care less).

Love that the recycling place there is open again. They pay pretty decently compared to places like highway 70 recycling, they rip you off

Expensive but convient for some .there sandwich are way too expensive and arent like when robert had it.it not as nice .the guy doesnt keep his food fresh in the freezer section alot.thats outdated.even in his deli so be careful what meat and frozen food u eat look at the dates.

Great place to go . You would be surprised on all the good stuff you would find there. Good meat . Fresh veggies, good cheese . A little expensive but not to bad for small store

Been going to this little market, since I was 14. Im happy its still their, and I stop by every time Im in town.

Best sandwiches around something like five ounces of meat versus anywhere else and especially Subway is only 2 something ounces.. the lady who runs the deli makes awesome salads and just her Pleasant friendliness makes it an all-around great experience and their prices are as competitive as Raleys and cheaper than a salad with no bread at Subway and we like supporting the local small business!!!Mike n Laura Day

Cheap fresh ice. But it is out of order most the time. The water 5 gallon would give you extra 1 gallon so use that wisely and rinse your bottle before filling it. Youll have time and extra water to fill you 5 gallon. :) but bad for the stake that we are on a drought and water is being wasted. Me and my family come here often as it is convenient for the termalito side and in a safer area vs other locations. At night, lights on so I dont recommend you fill water at night. Bugs that are attracted to light will eventually get flushed into you bottle on accident when they fly into the spigot.

Best recycling in town, hands down!

I like that they have a recycling place here occasionally. My daughter saves our recycling and gives it to whomever we see there. She feels it is helping someone else instead of recycling it herself.

Our secret weapon grocery store during COVID-19. They offered toilet paper when no one else had it. Their meat selection, ice cream selection and chile bean selection got us through a tough season during the pandemic.

Great local market.

The parking lot was just turned into a Valero gas station. Before they did that it was an old small Market & Deli, but it was organized. Now the market is chaotic theres no order and theres not enough checkers. Every time Ive gone there 5 to 10 minutes standing in line waiting to pay. And now they have double doors that are supposed to be electric but you have to open them manually and theyre heavy and it doesnt look like theyre going to fix that. On a positive note they make very good tasting subs.

There needs to be more of these ice machines. This is the only one I have come across and I travel a lot. There motto is your hands will be the first to touch the ice you buy from this machine and its only $2.00 a bag. Also if the blue light is on you can get 2 free bags of ice.

There prices are outrageous. Bought 2 garlic loaves and 2 small Pepsi bottles my total was 11 dollars. And the cashier was not very pleasant.

No signs posted about mandated mask where. Customers were not wearing masks in store. I refuse to go in store because of the lack of signage and the lack of enforcement. Very unprofessional, very disheartening.

Great sandwiches and worth going to but if your a local you know already that the place has never been known for its cleanliness. In its defense it is right now going through a remodel so clean is below average what it normally is.

Super high prices and the workers and owners are extremely rude dont go there unless i absolutely have to and have no other choice prettt much pay almost double for items when you can go right over the bridge and get same items for a better price i use to go to the deli years ago but thats not even the same anymore with the new sandwich makers

At one time I thought this place was ok but during the CAMP FIRE my daughter went to buy a case of water and the checker told her $20.00 she replied isnt it against the law to price goug. At that time I went to the store and brought it to his attention he replied I was just kidding I told him he was wrong I would not recommend this place to anyone especially under these conditions. It is bad enough that people have to deal with hard times like these but then have someone do this.

Comparable prices on dairy, bread and meats. Have gotten bad rice from them in the past. Overall a good place to stop if in a hurry

I love the changes and on 29JUL18 the gas prices were cheaper than what Ive seen around town!

I love how they expanded it and made it into a gas station now.

Overpriced on everything but close to the Thermalito neighborhood. I give it a 3 out of 5 stars for convenience. The new gas station is also overpriced by at least 10 cents per gallon. The price displayed in the bright lighted sign is cash price. If you use a card at the pump, you pay 10 cents more per gallon so, beware before you use your card. If you dont want to go to town or Walmart its good but limited for produce and meat. Prices are high though. Deli gets a 4 out of 5. Sandwiches are good. Try the Tri-tip with cheddar and Horseradish on sourdough. Thats my favorite but only available at the end of the week.
