He followed through with every promise and representation made. The boat was delivered detailed and cleaned inside and out. Prior to delivery, I also requested some work from Don in their service department for the removal of the boat’s graphics and stripes.The work came out great and their charges were more than fair and reasonable. Finally, the boat was delivered from Oshkosh to northern Illinois.Their delivery driver Eric, was very helpful in going over the boat’s systems and launching.The overall experience and service provided by Lakeside Marina was nothing short of 5 Stars.

I found out about a used boat they had in hand and they were willing to hold it for us. We purchased it the following day and came back a couple weeks later for a ride and pick it up. They pulled me up in a slalom ski before finalizing the purchase! The whole experience was great. No pressure, no hidden fees, all in all very satisfied and would happily go back to work with them.

I cant say enough about how much I appreciate Lakesides Service Dept. I started bringing our boat in for annual maintenance late last summer and then again this year. Ive also had them do some service work both last year and this year. Every time I call them or need something, Tom Smock is THE MAN! Hes always extremely busy, but takes time out to listen to what the issue is and is genuinely concerned that the issue is dealt with and resolved. They arent cheap, but you get what you pay for! Professionalism, courteousness, and expertise! Thank you! They have earned my trust.

Well we purchased aboat from this guys and asked them if they can arrange a transport to which they said yes. We were give approximate delivery frame. So boat was released to cargo company and we were told that we need to pau them upon arrival. We got a call from driver Eric 24 hoyrs after he left WI to CA with an approximate date he will arrive. On the way Eric had extrem problem with trailer which he has lied about what happened but again maybe if he dtove cross country without a 2 and a 4 years old kn his car maube he would notice more things. So once boat arrived we now have almosy $5000 worth of repairs. Lakeside Marina |Does not have any info on Eric so if Eric eould still a boat on the way they would not know how to find him. Eric refused to provide his insurance info as he blames Lakeside Marina |for not doing proper service on trailer. Lakeside Marina |Says they are not at failt because we payed for cargo and not them so its our responsibility but they are willing to eat $500 in costs. Great job Lakeside Marina |for hiring someones relative or friend and not getting his info because he is not professional hailler and doesnt have insurance and bond.

So for us buying a boat was a big deal, we started with Lakeside Marina and was so impressed with Cory, he talked with us like we were friends, honest, easy to talk to and no high pressure sales. We wanted to do our research, so we went to one other two other marinas, then back to Lakeside, then called another marina and one more time to Lakeside. We ordered it, Tom and Cory were so great with us every time we came in. Cory kept communication with us through the whole process. He honest from start to finish. Literally I was working a deal on a boat told them I was interested waiting on an appraisal on my trade in and while waiting they took a deposit from someone else (mind you never asked if I would give a deposit or said i needed to) and told me someone called in and put a deposit pending an inspection. Then tell me if they dont buy it then I can have a chance at buying it again and all this happens in a matter of 1 1/2 hrs.Well I dont deal with these types of businesses. Ill take my money elsewhere and hopefully other people will too

I just drove 890 miles round trip to purchase a used boat from Tom at Lakeside.I cant say enough about the whole staff. Tom, Wendy and Sawyer. Communication was incredible. Their transparency through the whole process was amazing. I worked 10 years at a Ford dealer and 6 years self employed. Lakeside provides the same customer service I did. Im a tough and demanding customer, Lakeside never gave me reason for concern or annoyed me with lack of follow up.I paid in full based on pictures and conversations. Tom put me in touch with the previous owner to answer all my questions. Then we went for a ride when I arrived today.Just got back from a 7hr drive back to Michigan and love my new to me Envision. We recently purchase a Lake Michigan cruiser brokered by Tom Free at Lakeside Marina. We could not be happier with the service we received. Tom was incredibly responsive, communicative and went above and beyond to help with the entire transaction. He picked us up from the airport when we came in to look at the boat from Michigan. He spent an entire Sunday afternoon staying with the process when the seller walked us through all the function of the boat and took it for a lake test. He facilitated the entire process with the surveyor. He volunteered to pilot the boat to a remote marina where it could be adequately removed for trailering. He arranged for a custom yacht shipper to get it to Lake Michigan. He followed up with every detailed and resolved every issue. He also spent quite a bit of time explaining to us newbies how to deal with boats of the size we purchased. Tom is GREAT and Lakeside Marina is a wonderful, longstanding business that knows how to treat their customers and brokered sellers.

What a horrible experience. I purchased a brand new boat and had nothing but issues. First the owner Tom did my paperwork and didn’t get it done correct. After delaying my registration they had to send someone to my house to get signatures. I love over 2 hours from them. Next they did my taxes wrong and I owed the state money. I called them twice no call back. I ended up paying. My boat cover also had 2 broken snaps on it and they would not help. This is a brand new boat. Now the registered my trailer wrong. The renewals is 3 times the cost it should be. I called twice and again the owner Tom was rude and just wanted off the phone. He claims it’s the title company fault. One thing for sure is it is not my fault. They just don’t care. Do not buy from here.

I had motor issues at the boat launch and after messing around with it for awhile I headed here for a pointer, not expecting theyd have time for much else. After explaining my situation the service manager and a mechanic came out and took a look. They had me back at the launch in no time A+++ service.

I wanted to take the time to thank Tom Free for seeing the transaction to completion of buying a boat sight unseen. I have been a boater for over 30 years and bought and sold many boats over the years. This was the first time i purchased a boat sight unseen as I live in New York state over 1,000 miles away. There were a few obstacles that required Tom to go above and beyond in order to close the transaction. Tom was fully transparent on the condition of the vessel and the boat showed up in NY as Tom described with no surprises. Thanks again Tom we love the boat! Steve

What a fantastic marina to have here in Oshkosh. Great inventory and knowledge on boating. For a novice, Tom is the go to guy to help acclimate and has more knowledge of boating than I have ever seen. Makes the boating experience just as it should be a whole lot fun and safe. He is always is available for help and or questions and of course fun. The service department with Tom smock managing has gotten back to me in a timely manor and has always given the best advice for the service I needed on my boat. Thats only the beginning. Sawyer Erickson has done a fantastic job with the marketing and the Facebook postswhich always makes me wanting to keep looking for my 4th boat.Sue B

Called over two months ago for a 100 hour service to be done on my motor. They said I should be able to get it in in 2-3 weeks. Well 2 months later still nothing.

Bought a used boat here a year ago. Used it 3 times before it went back for an ignition problem. Told me it was fixed. Used 2 more times before it went back in for an ignition problem again. Didnt get to use any more last year. Took out this year....after 1 use it went back..ignition problem again and I also found the kill switch wired to nothing....even though they looked right at me and said it worked before they sold it to me...thank God my boys didnt need to use it the 1 time they were on the water.....lie after lie... after almost 3wks I finally have it back again..I will never go back here and would warn anyone else should you decide to buy used here..Think twice...they will sell you an unsafe boat and then take you to the cleaners to get it running properly

Bought a boat from Lakeside in fall of 2017. They said it would be all check over and cleaned up (it was a used boat). Got it home and found empty soda can and verious other debris in it. I complained and took it back to be clean. Brought it home again and still found bottle caps in the cup holders and a fall foot ball schedule, plus asked that the carpets be cleaned. Gun wale carpets still dirty. I spent 5 hours tod a y vacuuming and cleaning the boat.Tom is nice enough, but the job just didnt get done. Their mechanic said everything on the boat works fine, now Im wondering if that is true. I will be out on the water soon. Hopefully I will not need to write another review.

Just took delivery of a new Centurion last week. Toms passion for the boats and watersports is unparalleled by any other dealer in Southeast Wisconsin. He was a previous sales rep and knows the products from a mechanics standpoint as well as from a consumers standpoint. Had a small problem on the day of delivery after he had ruturned to the dealership in Oshkosh. He came to pick the boat up the next morning to correct the problem. This was on a Sunday!Highly recommended.
