I called this morning for a Birthday Bouquet, The person that answered the phone was so pleasant and happy to help my last minute request. They delivered earlier than expected. My granddaughter is so happy and everybody keeps telling her how beautiful they are. I highly recommend this company

I used Oviedo Florist for my wedding in Winter Park in June - and the flowers were AMAZING!!! Marlene was so helpful from beginning to end, I had no stresses about the flower component on the day of - as they came in and set up beautifully. My inspo picture for my bridal bouquet & hair piece and they turned out SO good and I got so many comments on the uniqueness! (pic below) So glad I chose Oviedo Florist and honestly could not have asked for a better result!

Due to COVID, my sister’s wedding was canceled. Earlier in the week, they decided to go to the courthouse instead. On Thursday, around 3 pm, they found out an appointment opened up for Friday at 8:30 am. (They live in Flagler) I wanted to make it a little more special for her but finding a florist before 5 pm that could make a bouquet was very tough. I called the Oviedo Florist, and even though I was on the opposite side of town and wasn’t sure I would make it, they said they would stay a little later to help me out. Thanks to the traffic gods, I got there at about 4:30. I was hoping they would just throw some roses or something together, and that’s it. Nothing fancy. NOPE! She went above and beyond and added some gorgeous greenery, multiple different types of flowers, and some pretty ribbon. She even added pins, so she knew where to hold it to get the best photos with it. What is even crazier is that they were very affordable, even though they were rushed. My sister was blown away when I gave them to her this morning. They were perfect.If you ever need a florist, I HIGHLY suggest The Oviedo Florist!!! You won’t be disappointed!

I selected a few flowers and the designers did a fabulous job at filling in the rest of the bouquet. From start to finish the customer service was excellent. The final result was a bouquet more gorgeous than I imagined and delivered same day.

Called at 3:30pm for same day delivery and they came through. Spoke to a nice lady named Linda on the phone and she was extremely helpful. Highly recommended these folks. Impressed with their customer service!

Service, Quality & Beauty - Oviedo Florist Delivered - The arrangement was full of color with orange lilies, pink, yellow and white roses, blue delphinium and a gorgeous lavender hydrangea. Every bloom was amazingly fresh and perfectly placed.I want to thank everyone at Oviedo Florist. Because of the pandemic, we have been isolating for 10 months now with minimal trips into businesses. My situation was very personal, as are most occasions involving flowers, so not being able to go into the shop (personal choice) could have been an issue. Thankfully, it wasnt.Over the phone, Linda and I were able to determine the perfect arrangement. Then, she and the team at OF accommodated my every request from converting the arrangement Id seen online from a vase to a basket, to discussing which type and size arrangement would be best for my occasion, to making sure the way it was arranged reflected the person for which it was designed to pay tribute - right down to the two white roses.Every person, from Linda, who effectively concierged my order, to the floral arranger, to the gentleman who delivered it to my house, provided excellent service. Marlene did all of my flowers for my wedding. I dont know flowers and I cant pick out flowers well. I worked with Marlene to pick out the types of flowers I wanted, the ones I hated, and the colors. She then worked with my wedding planner and figured out all the rest. I couldnt have been happier. Im just in shock at how freakin amazing it all was.

I am from N.H. and wanted to surprise my mom in law with flowers 💐 for Mother’s Day. She lives in Oviedo so I did a google search and read all reviews of local florists in her area. I was impressed with Oviedo Florists reviews and decided to call. I am so glad I did! The woman I spoke with was kind and very patient with me and explained the process of the delivery and how they wouldn’t leave the flowers outside like other florists I’ve used in the past. My mom in law was so happy with the flowers and they made her day! Thank you for the great experience Oviedo Florist! I will absolutely use you again for any of my flower needs in the future!

Neat little place, with a couple different gifts/trinkets. Stopped in on the fly while headed to the hospital to visit a loved one who suddenly became ill. They were able to squeeze my arrangement in right then. The quality of the flowers was excellent but the arrangement itself could have been better. Overall it looked nothing like what I had picked out, but the customer service was great and the fact they accommodated my request immediately made all the difference. Prices were as you would expect with any other floral shop. Higher than they should be, but thats just my personal opinion fueled by me being a penny pinching DIY-er!!

For my daughters 21st birthday I wanted to get her a special arrangement of sunflowers and a mix of her favorite colors instead of the local supermarket that also have some nice flowers I decided on googling the nearest flourist near me and Oviedo Beautiful flowers and gift (Family owned) came up as a choice. I went in not sure of the selection options and I was greeted by Isabel who helped me in deciding on the perfect flower arrangements for my daughter which she loved very much. Dont even think book Marlene and her team for your wedding day. She was able to create the most beautiful florals for my event, and did it at a very reasonable price. She worked completely in my budget! I cant thank Marlene and her team enough for making our wedding day so beautiful!

Last week, I have spoken with someone about getting corsages and boutonnieres for my wedding. So, today, I have called this florist company today, recommended to me by my wedding venue, to purchase just corsages and boutonnieres for my wedding. I spoke with Marlene, who gave me the roughest and hardest time, trying to confirm my order today as I thought they were a good, reputable company to do the simple job for my wedding. Marlene was so rude to me, because I was doing a half-wedding by not getting my bridal bouquet from their florist, and just doing the corsages and boutonnieres. She said the red roses from my bridal bouquet may not match the boutonniere of my Groom. That is okay to me, I am not the picky Bride here. I just wanted simple boutonnieres and corsages for my parents, siblings and grandparents. However, Marlene kept going on and on that it wont match, basically refusing to complete the job. I believe it should not be their business of where I receive my bridal bouquet from. That is my choice. I am surprised to see such poor customer service from Marlene as it disrespects Oviedo Florist as well, as thinking this is not the only florist in the Oviedo area to service any event in the future. I highly do not recommend after such a bad potential wedding vendor experience.

Marlene from Oviedo Florist did a beautiful job with the flowers for my wedding. I had a very specific vision for the florals and Marlene delivered! She put together beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, and garlands. I received many compliments about my bridal bouquet! I highly recommend booking Oviedo Florist for beautiful and reasonably priced florals.

When I was shopping with my daughter for her wedding flowers, we stopped in and spoke with Marlene. She was as excited about the wedding as we were, so we were already sold on her enthusiasm. Let me tell you, all of the bouquets, corsages, right down to the centerpieces were absolutely beautiful.

Overpriced and not very detailed oriented. I wasted 45 minutes of my life for a small bouquet that I had to return because the flowers were falling off their stems.

My son and I arrived at Oviedo Florist at 12:45 pm. We were there to get a corsage for Homecoming. We stood in line 5 minutes, then a women at the counter helped us. She kindly stated they could make a corsage for us if they have any roses left, she would go and check in the back, in the meantime she told us to go pick out a ribbon. We went and got a ribbon and got back in line again. We waited about 5 minutes in line then the woman began to help us again. Then all of sudden, a different woman charged out to the front of the shop and loudly stated We are not making any corsages. Our cut off time is 1:00 and we will not make any more today!We had been there 20 minutes already. She rudely over stepped the woman that was helping us. She yelled out to everyone in the lobby area who was waiting. She was very RUDE!My sons date to Homecoming was there and got a boutonniere, exactly 1 hour earlier. Now they wont have matching ribbons or flowers because my son has to get his somewhere else.Oviedo Florist could have made the corsage for him. They should have communicated with their staff about the cut off time at 1 pm. They should tell people about cut off time when they first walk in or least post a sign stating such etc.REPLY TO OWNER: this complaint isnt about how busy you are or that weddings take priority, it is about how you spoke to customers who were patiently waiting. My attitude was in response to yours. My son is not the best at planning ahead. Fortunately another florist happily made one for him in time for the dance.

I ordered flowers online to be delivered to my wife on Valentine’s Day. They did not arrive until 5pm. The idea of having them delivered and paying the delivery fee was to surprise her while I was at work. I understand that there is no specified delivery time but maybe I’m wrong to assume they would’ve been delivered before I got home from work. Maybe I’m also wrong to assume flowers on Valentine’s Day will be delivered before 5 PM. I would’ve picked them up myself and given them to her when I got home if I knew that instead of paying the delivery fee.

Oviedo Florist is your old fashioned hometown florist. They are going on 50 years next year and the current owners have been there for 20 plus years! Amazing in this day and age since flowers are a luxury. Been using them for 2 years and have so gotten my money worth. Quality flowers, great customer service and the shop has all kinds of cool gifts- something for everyone! Thank you Oviedo Florist!!

Wow! What can I say? We had a verbal agreement to have Oviedo florist do our wedding. Totally counting on a local florist to provide the flowers for the happiest day of our future together. When we went to place the deposit down, they said the forgot about me and they couldn’t do the job! After my best friend booked them, I thought I was going with a reputable local company! What a sham! Spoke with them st the wedding convention and I was so impressed! Spoke with them and supposedly booked our day. They stated to just come on in when we were ready to place a deposit down. We approached them 4 months before the wedding day with the check, not deposit, but full payment.to be told that they forgot is a terrible way to do business! Oviedo has better options and so does Orlando!

What a wonderful experience I had with Oviedo Florist. I called them a few days before Thanksgiving on my way home from work hoping to purchase an arrangement. The owner answered saying they were closed but to come in anyway. They had a beautiful arrangement available that was perfect for my dining room table. I also purchased two beautiful reindeer (already assembled – Bonus!) that were on display but offered for sale. The owner was so nice and so helpful. As I was leaving, he ran out of the shop to give me a complimentary bag of chocolates. What a lovely gesture. Now that’s awesome customer service!

Received a flower arrangement in a vase as a gift. My first impression is that they are skilled at arranging and the presentation was wonderful. With that said, I was displeased at the quality of some of the flowers. I suspect they were cut and stored improperly so I attempted to rescue them. When we contacted them a few days later they were quick to address the problem and replace my arrangement. I am very pleased with their services and would certainly recommend them.

Great florist. In store service is not always fast, but the quality and variety of flowers is amazing and the prices are fair. We have bought gifts here for friends, family, my daughters corsage for a Daddy Daughter Dance. They are great for last minute gifts even on holidays and will customize stuff for you despite being busy.

I ordered a lovely floral arrangement online this morning and I picked them up this afternoon.Absolutely beautiful. I’ve used Oviedo Florist many times and I have never been disappointed.

We lost our 17yr old cat who was our son, not just a cat and our vet sent a beautiful flower arrangement from Oviedo florist which was a sweet token of care and concern. The flowers were beautifully put together but unfortunately the arrangement smelled of cigarette smoke and cheap perfume that had been sprayed to conceal the cigarette smell. I called and asked if their delivery person smoked and the woman said yes and I explained the situation. She was kind and apologized and offered to replace the flowers. I appreciate her offer but I declined as it defeated the whole purpose of getting the flowers in the first place. She expressed her condolences which I appreciated and did offer several times to send me other arrangements which was sweet, but again, it defeated the whole purpose of the first delivery. Then she offered to send me some candy. I know she wanted to make it better and was really trying but FYI for the future, you do not offer a grieving person some candy; thats just my opinion though. I did inform my veterinarian of the situation so they would be aware and get a refund. I guess now when you order flowers you have to make sure your delivery guy does not smoke. Smh...

Wonderful florists creating beautiful arrangements

I wish these people would advertise single stem flowers. Just got a single stem of double bloom lilies, 3 bloomed and one about to be blooming. Great to find somewhere in central Florida near me that does custom bouquet building and single stem flowers.

We needed some flowers for our daughter, and even though it was afternoon, they were very kind to make a later in the day delivery. And the flowers were beautiful! Very nice folks and quality flowers!

What Pure Joy and a refreshment to find such a wonderful and helpful vendor for my daughters wedding as this! The moment I walked in, I felt so welcomed! Ford was truly intent on giving me amazingly creative and budget conscious ideas that would meet the floral needs I conveyed. I did not realize until an hour AFTER closing that the shops hours for the day had ended. Ford was sooooo kind he never let on and just kept taking me all over the shop showing me examples, case displays, pictures in books, etc. He went above and beyond his duty and went that extra mile for me!

Great job on grouping and wrapping the floral arrangements for my daughters and wife. They went above and beyond. Even offered me a cold bottle of water while I waited. It doesnt get any better than that!

The worst experience I have ever had!!!!! I have been going to Oviedo Florist for the past 4 years for my daughters dances.The girls have always been so helpful and polite. I went today with my daughter to get flowers for her prom (which is usually fun to do) and brought part of her dress because wasnt sure what color to go with. There was no customers in the store at all during the time we were there .I simply asked for help and advice on colors and was told is your dance do what you want I was beside myself and asked for the owner and she was the owner. WOW!!! thats all I can say. Then I was trying to just finish up my order and she continued being rude even to my daughter and said I dont want your business, leave I am going to call the police really the police because I need help with a color selection and maybe a little customer service. I just left.I went a few doors doors down to another florist who was so helpful and polite. I would NEVER recommend this place. As for the owner maybe you were having a bad day but you surely lost my business and I will share my experience with my friends.

They really have some good flowers here and gift baskets. We used them for my cousins wedding and she was really impress with the flowerrs.

My husband and I cant say enough good things about Marlene and her team at Oviedo Florist! She truly understands that your wedding will be one of the most important days of your life and wants to deliver florals that will make you happy and excited to show your guests. As a bride, I felt fully comfortable sharing with Marlene my ideas and letting her run full speed ahead with the execution. Besides her use of china mums, amnesia roses, and the various types of arrangements we ordered, I didnt know anything else about how our wedding day florals would look. So many of my friends who had gotten married recently looked at me like I was crazy when I would share that with them, encouraging me to at least ask about the other flowers she was using. But, after looking through her reviews and wedding galleries, I knew she would deliver florals even better than what I could dream up--and I was right! I nearly cried when I saw my bouquet, and our centerpieces (tradition and wreaths) were even better than I imagined! Marlene was always quick to respond back, kept great records and always welcomed changes and additions to the order (even though I changed our order about 10 times before the wedding day came), and knows which flowers will work best depending on the season. Oviedo Florists prices are very reasonable, we always received great customer service, and our florals were perfect. What more could you ask for!? We highly recommend this company!

Sweet and professional, made a beautiful corsage for my friends daughter

I went in seven years ago to try to get prices on flowers for our wedding. They would not give us the time of day and there was nobody else in the store. I took my business to someone else and have not had a need to ever go back. The flowers in there looked great but the support was terrible.

Fresh cut flowers were dead in 3 days, wife was very disappointed, waste of $55.

I received a plant with flowers in a basket. The flowers were stuck under the basket handle. The handle was in the middle of the flower bending it. The sender asked me to send a picture of the plant they sent. I had to rearrange the flowers myself so the plant did not look as bad. I did not want the sender to know how it really looked. I tried calling to let the florist know but of course both phone numbers listed the voice mail were full, not to surprising.

I ordered a flower arrangement for a birthday. Once the arrangement was delivered myself and the person receiving the arrangement were very unsatisfied. The arrangement looked very sloppy like it was just thrown together. After calling and speaking with them about this they were very rude.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! I am so disgusted by the owners behavior! From the moment I said Hello?, he was so abrupt and rude. I asked him how he was doing and he kept rudely yelling, How may I help you?. After asking again how he was doing, he literally just said, Have a good day maam and hung up on me!!!I called again, wanting to speak to a manager and to my shock, he answered, I am the manager!. WOW. I am in utter shock. I am all about supporting small businesses, but will absolutely take my business somewhere else when you have no regard for your customer.Most people order flowers for a special occasions - well, this guy is going to ruin any cheerful, or happy spirit. He probably forgets hes a florist and not a one in a million kind of specialty store.

Very Very Very disappointed with Marlene at Oviedo Florist. I had met with her a month ago to inquire on prices for my wedding, including bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets boutonnieres and corsages, as well as renting vases with flowers for my center pieces. I discussed with her in detail what I was looking for, a simple one flower bouquet for my bridesmaids and a small bouquet for myself, as I had expressed how heavy they were as a bridesmaid myself. I did not want a full bouquet for my bridesmaids and Marlene continued to add flowers to my simple bouquets to turn into something I didnt want. After almost a $1000 for all my flowers and rentals, I decided to just order a few things from them, and do the rest myself. But she REFUSED to provide me with some of the flowers. As a paying customer, how could anyone refuse to provide flowers for someones wedding? I will NEVER EVER will use them!!! ***Please future brides be aware, go elsewhere to find your flowers!!****

If I could give negative stars I would. Most terrible experience in customer service I have ever had. Called to complain about the picture from what I ordered being completely different from what arrived and was screamed at and cursed at by the man on the phone. They even had the nerve to go to my mothers house and take the flowers back stating that I was abusive because I said the flowers look like someone ripped them out of their garden and threw them in a bowl. For the record, I never raised my voice or used any profanity during the duration of the call and I called the number on google for Oviedo Florist and the Oviedo Florist van is who showed up at my mothers home. Absolutely disappointed in the entire experience and have no clue how customers can be treated so terribly and the business remain open. Our family has done business with this company from 1965-2017 but no more.Regarding the rebuttal from the owner: Character assassination will not work...when reading your reviews of similar customers you can see a trend. For the record the designer never spoke a word as the rude man that answered would not let anyone get a word in. When they showed up to the recipients home they demanded the flowers and never once offered to help or fix. I would recommend anyone in the future that complains with this company disclose and record the conversation...
