Carl at Tesinskys is everything you want in a mechanic. He was polite, communicated very well, quality work at great prices and trustworthy. He did not try to upgrade this or that. He explained everything he did and he actually beat his own estimate. We have a second car we will now take here. So glad we found our mechanic!! Some older reviews reference rude mechanics- not here. They exceeded my expectations. He replaced front and rear brakes and the car stops on a dime now!

Amazing staff. Carl is such a kind, genuine man. He’s honest and takes pride in his work and serving his community. He saved me $500+ (no kidding) on my taillight repair when I was stressed out. He called and ordered the part right away and I was able to get back on the road in no time. No long wait, no pressure, and not a whole lot of money spent. Definitely recommend and I will be back for future needs for sure.

I have a 2005 Yukon that needed an engine replacement. The team was great to work with. The truck being so old has had a few other issues Ive also had them resolve. They have replaced my starter and most of the fuel system as well. Great shop with honest mechanics. We will be taking all of our cars here from now on.

My car broke down on the 417 with a bad alternator. They arrived within 10 minutes after our phone call to get it towed to the shop. The staff was very professional, friendly, and had my car in and out 100% fixed up at a great price. Would recommend!Thanks guys!

This shop and team saved me over a thousand dollars by getting to a sensor that calls for the fuel tank to be dropped to change it. They found a way to get it done without doing that. Fair pricing and very helpful in finding parts for my Pontiac. I highly recommend them.

Carl is fantastic! He was very helpful, honest, and communicated thoroughly throughout the process. My daughters car had several mechanical issues and I was out of town and couldnt help her. He quickly diagnosed the problems, proposed several repair options, and recommended the best courses of action that would minimize costs. Several parts had to be ordered so the repairs took a few days. Carl kept in touch with me, giving us periodic updates on what was completed to date and next steps. If a certain repair was estimated to be 2 hours, but only took an hour, he billed accordingly.If you look at the reviews you will see there are negative responses, BUT, those are prior to Carl. If you look at the timing of the ratings you can see when Carl took ownership because its all high ratings after that (August 2019?). My daughter has an older car with high mileage so well likely need repairs again. I will bring it to Tesinsky Automotive without hesitation.Carl - thanks for everything!

I had car trouble late one afternoon and pulled into Tesinsky Automotive where I met Carl. I had been to another mechanic but felt they were way overpriced on the parts and labor. Carl diagnosed the problem quickly. He shopped around for the parts to save me some money. I was so thankful Carl had my car fixed by the end of the next business day. Excellent customer service! Honestly, everyone at Tesinsky Auto is amazing. I have read some of the past reviews and although they didn’t surprise me, please know there have been many changes made! Give them another chance, you won’t be disappointed! They are the most accommodating bunch of people I have ever worked with. Honest, reliable, great prices, and extremely accommodating. I have gotten estimates at other shops, and when I bring it to Tesinsky, it’s usually half the quoted estimate. I will never go to another mechanic! Keep up the good work, guys. The team at Tesinky explained what needed to be repaired on my car after Pep Boys simply wrote axle busted on my paperwork, and charged me a fraction of the estimate that Pep Boys had given me, saving me $$$. They were kind and helpful, and Ill definitely be going there again.

First of all, let me tell you what this place has that sets them apart from every other mechanic shop...honesty! I brought in my truck to have the brakes changed, and they came back in a few minutes and told me they didn’t needed to be changed. What other mechanic shop would turn down a quick buck?I also was having an issue with my boat trailer at the storage facility next to the shop and they came out and helped me just out of the goodness of their hearts and would not accept payment.I am a customer for life with these guys because I know I’ll always be treated fairly, and I can recommend all my friends and family to them and know they will be treated the same.Thank you Randy!

Tesinsky Automotive has been a great help and helped me get a nail out of my tire (free of charge!) and I was also able to get my oil changed very easily. They care about their customers and it is nice to go to somewhere local rather than a big chain.

Right before moving to this area, my husbands car wouldnt turn on. I called Tesinsky about having another company tow his car here to get checked out. The owner was very helpful and flexible about helping us out right away. He diagnosed the problem quickly, provided information on what caused the issue and how to avoid it in the future, and gave us a fair price to fix it. We would definitely recommend Tesinskys!

Mike Green is now the mechanic and manager of this establishment and Im so glad he is! Hes an amazing mechanic...he is knowledgeable, thorough and always fair in his pricing. He studies everything he can get his hands on about all makes and models of vehicle and never fails to come through with the solution to the issues at hand. He is straightforward, he explains the situation in terms even I could understand (I know very little about the workings of my vehicle) and hes even worked with me on payment when I was having a little financial trouble. Ive known him long enough that Ive taken 2 of my cars to him (even driving many, many miles to get to his shop) and my parents and now my husband and step-daughter are customers, too.Mike can be abrupt, he doesnt sugar coat anything and he doesnt tolerate fools, but he is as honest as they come. He doesnt pad the bill or do work that doesnt need to be done. He explains everything, down to the smallest detail of whats happening with your vehicle. I love that! He never fails to complete the work in a timely fashion, either, and Ive never been disappointed.Along with repairs, he also does installations of audio equipment and installed an awesome system in my car! Ive had no issues with it, its beautifully installed and sounds like a million bucks!

Randy Coventry is the new Owner and Manager. I have known Randy and his family for many years. I will tell you this, he will never be rude or unprofessional with you. Also, one of the most honest people you will come across. Best of all, he is a damn good mechanic.

This guy ( Mike Green ) kept my old clunker rolling way beyond what I thought was possible! However he isnt afraid to tell you off about how your car got the way it is, but if you can make it through his lectures ( By the way are actually a helpful use of constructive criticism if you listen! ) He has an abrasive personality up front, but DAMN he does quality work for affordable prices! It is WORTH your time!! Great Mechanic!!

Great car place. They take care of your car as if it was one of there own. Love best is they dont tell you that your wrong if you want to replace something. They listen and give great advise as how to proceed.

Very rude on the phone. As I was asking question regarding pricing he actually told me I could just throw some prices out there just to get you to shut up. If you are unable to answer basic questions to help customers further understand your services, you dont tell them to shut up, ask if you can call back when you learn customer service and how to be more professional. I would give ZERO stars if it would let me!!

I found Mike on Google and hes been taking care of our vehicles since weve relocated to FL. If you want someone that is great at their job, does not charge nor do unnecessary work and is 100% trustworthy, then hes your guy. He tells it like it is, a refreshing change in the auto service industry!

Mike is a very good honest mechanic with limited social skills. He will not baby you or coddle you to boost your ego. What he will do is fix your car for a reasonable, fair price correctly the first time. Unless you point anything out that is not absolutely perfect with his perceptions about the job he does for you, then he will waste your time and not agree to work on your vehicles. He apparently hates DIY car owners.

Tesinkys automotive has fixed two cars for me. Mike is an honest man and an honest business man. He goes out of his way to ensure that the cars he works on are not only back up and running, but running at 100% and safe. Recently he fixed my car and went out of his way to put two tires on it, replaced my broken headlight, and gave me an oil change just to ensure my safety, without charging me. He works with people and understands that people fall on hard times. He is in business to help people and he is amazing at what he does.

Engine light in my Honda Fit came on and the D on the gear display started flashing. Called the wife, she did a quick search, and said it might be something with the transmission. Pulled off 417, and went here since it was the closest place. Came in and told Mike, (I assume thats who it is based on these other awful reviews), and proceeded to tell me how insulted he was was that i had my wife look this up on the internet. I said, Ok, if thats how your gonna start this, I dont want to have you working in my car and left. Dude proceeded to follow me, and started swearing at me, and only backed off when I threatened to call the cops. Most surreal auto shop experience Ive ever had.

Dude has no class, I went there to pay on a a friends bill as a favor and he had an attitude with me as if he worked on my car and it was my bill. He was totally unprofessional towards me. He gave me no receipt or anything, just straight attitude.

Super nice guy, went because of a timing belt issue and my engine overheating, Mike went above and beyond to make sure my car was as perfect as he could make it. I couldn’t be happier and will absolutely be returning.
