I took my skiff into Talon Marine for the first time, for a 100 hour service on my Suzuki outboard. Nicole was very friendly and professional. I had some specific concerns about my motor and Talon and the staff addressed all of them for me. They got the service done within the same day which was helpful for me, since I am from out of town.At the end of the service, Talon went over everything that was performed, what they found and what they recommended. I did not feel rushed at all, and all my questions were answered (and I had a lot). They provide a very detailed service sheet at the end as well.I have not had the greatest experiences in the past with several other marine mechanics. This was by far the best experience I personally have had. I will be driving the hour each way to bring my skiff here from now on.Thank you all for an awesome experience!

Talon and Nicole saved me again. My 2016 250AP threw a 02 sensor code. Called them on Monday with the code. They ordered the part scheduled me for service and had the motor in and out in 2 hours. Every step communicated and as planned.I also lost connection to my C-10 gauge. They walked me through multiple steps for correction. I know they are busy but they took the time to call me back and return my emails. Thats why I continue to use them for service and purchases. I highly recommend them for your Suzuki needs.

Went to Talon marine for a 20hr outboard service on my Suzuki 60hp motor. The service was excellent, the staff extremely friendly, fast service time (2 days I had my boat back) and it’s very affordable pricing. I was fortunate enough to find Talon Marine when I was in a pinch.(Them helping me in a pinch is a secondary cause for the positive review!) The owners and the staff that I encountered were all very friendly, courteous, honest and helpful. The shop is clean, spacious and well maintained. I had taken my boat to a Suzuki dealer in a coastal community and had multiple just-ok to borderline, feeling screwed experiences. My interaction with Talon Marine was completely opposite. I was in a bind and offered to pay double the prices in an effort to make a scheduled trip after I broke something. I was asked to the bring the boat in the next morning at 0800hrs and they would see what they could do. I met the owner in the morning and they jumped on the repair immediately. The communication on the repair was great. There were no promises made or ambiguous expectations. They called me at 1430hrs that day and told me the boat was complete and did not charge me double the rate. I feel fortunate to have found a shop that services Suzuki motors and shares the kindness and honesty that this shop showed me. I will definitely bring my boat there for future work needs and would encourage other to as well.

I went to qet a quote to repower a Proline. Nicole was very kind and provided great service. Talon came over an explained in detail the different options. Plus the pros and cons of each. Even showed me the physical engines for me to have a better understanding. They are not a Mega Dealer. A little hiding to find. But I can see they offer a great service. I will definitely get my repower done with Talon.

This is the 2nd boat I own that Talon and his team serviced. My fist boat they could have took meBehind the woodshed for a few Gs but informed me I’d be better off selling it as is and getting a newer boat. Very honest and trust worthy. That’s hard to find! They won’t do any work that isn’t worth it to the customer. Brought the new boat in a couple weeks ago. They walked me thru what I needed to be 100% water ready. Installed some additional batteries, charger, switch, Hr meter, gps and transducer. Work was super clean like it came from the factory or better!

I purchased a new boat in 2018 and used the dealership for general service/maintenance, but was less than impressed with the timeliness and quality of their work. I asked around for an alternative to the dealership and Talon Marine came up as an option, so I gave them a go for my 100 hour service and was pleased with the results. I was able to get all the details of my boat and service request squared away over the phone, quickly drop off the boat, and when I picked her up, I was walked through exactly what was done and the recommended services for the next visit. Talon earned my business for all my boat maintenance going forward.

Took boat for yearly service last year and asked for Talon to look the vessel over and let me know of any concerns. I was very impressed at the detail with which he inspected the vessel. Talon wants to be sure that his customers are safe on the water. He found little issues that were sure to become big issues later - some would become major safety concerns. I had a lot of work done to bring everything back to where it should be and Talon and his crew did an awesome job. They are very friendly, easy to talk to, and explain each repair in detail. They did work on 3 bilge pumps, replumbed and pumped my livewell, overhauled a bunch of old/weathered electronics/wiring, replaced hydraulic steering system, fixed windass wiring issues, repaired trim tab wiring issues, serviced my twin Yamaha 300 engines, etc. Quality work. I purchased a new 250 Suzuki from Talon October of 2016. I choice talon because of the conversations he had with me and the way he made me comfortable with such a large purchase. His shop is over and hour away from my house but the travel was well worth it. He communicated through the whole process. I was traveling when he started the process of derigging the old motor and installing and rigging the new. He sent pictures every step of the way and allowed me to ask question and had patients. I have had the boat back at the shop for some annual services and he has taught me a lot of do it your self techniques to help save on costs. Most shops do not do that. I know have 500 flawless hours on this awesome motor. Talon once again today assisted with Anodes and internal filters for me to do at home. He spent the time to walk me through the little steps to make it easy. You just do not find that type of service these days.
