If youre looking for cheap tools and equipment this is the place to go. I buy a majority of mine here. I usually have three different quality levels of items. Ive had good luck with their generators so far.

I bought a compact pancake style compressor, an accessory pack for quick air tool changes, and a finish nailer. So far, what they say is true, Harbor Freight has quality tools and low prices.

Quality of the merchandise just keeps getting better. The store is clean and well organized. The selection is impressive. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. Recently I was very pleased to learn a large item which was shown as special order on the website was actually in stock ready to go in the store. Took it home that day when I expected to have to wait a couple of weeks.The Owosso location is top notch and the mgmt should be proud of this one. This store brings the once sketchy HF into the top tier equal to any other big-box.Yes, some items are clearly built to a price, but most of it represents not only fantastic value but actually is objectively better than the versions sold elsewhere for higher prices. Harbor freight is killing it as a disruptor exposing the gross overpricing by big established names that have off-shored their production. If Im going to buy Chinese tools, I might as well get them from HF because I know the quality will be better and the price lower than the similar item sold elsewhere. They are doing a darn good job keeping overhead down and service up, unlike certain tool-truck outfits that need gigantic mark-up to cover the cost of fancy trucks, expensive sponsorships and inefficient organizational structures. People used to laugh at a HF brand on a toolbox. Now I laugh at suckers who overpaid and got less buying trendy names!

The Owosso store is not very helpful. Never have what we need. Why cant one store send to another for customer service or convenience? Or better yet when replacing an item that I bought coverage for, send it to my home? Then when questioned they blame everything on Covid 19 so sick of the pandemic being the excuse for everything that they are not willing to fix. Ridiculous. I would not recommend to anyone friend or foe.

Wanted an electric chainsaw. Saw, battery and charger all sold separately. Went to Wal-Mart and got all in one.

This chain is drunk on that Covid Power. The only time I got within 6 feet of ANYONE was when the manager asked me to put on a mask from the open box of contaminated surgical masks, a warning on which is these do not prevent the transmission of Covid-19. I would have been in and out in less than 15 minutes, the CDC guideline for covid exposure but instead I was happy to take my healthy self over to Walmart where not only was I not hassled in my quick errand but they had stronger tow straps at a lower price anyway.

Customer service is hit and miss, but 85% of the time its good. Quality of tools depends on the brand and I strongly recommend Pittsburg tools for quality.

My local Harbor Freight is virtually empty. Not their fault, what with the virus & everything going on. But I needed a new floor jack and some tools and they didnt have any. Literally not one jack in the store. So I called around, this one said they had plenty of jacks, so I made the hour & a half drive. They werent lying, they had every model of jack in stock and lots of colors too. A huge store, well stocked & very clean. Nice people. You can use their coupons right from your phone too, I saved just over a hundred bucks on my purchase!!! Get the HF Coupon app from the app store for the very best coupon deals. Would recommend highly, thanks.

Good place for your money like the saying is you pay for what you get. I gave it a three because the people working there watched me as I tried to carry two sets of jack stands a Stool and a couple other thing to the counter. Help your customers.

I am just glad they decided to bud one closer to where I live. Granted the other one wasnt too far, but this is a welcomed addition to the area. I enjoy the sales and low prices. The store is nice and bright too. Its funny how the stores as a kid I was drug around town to are the exact stores I enjoy as a adult. Funny how that works. I always look forward to the emails and the catalogs in the mail to see what they have on sale.

Helpful and organized...however research and learn about the quality of some of the products sold here. Some items are great for the money others are a total waste. Know what your buying and how it will hold up and your success shopping at Harbor Freight and Tools will be amplified. They take tools back but some items will require purchasing a warranty. Again....research and know what your buying.

The store has only been open a short time and it seems as though I am there every other day. Great deals on tools and accessories. The employees could not be friendlier or more helpful. So far I have bought the 60 inch wooden workbench and the multipurpose workbench for my shop in the garage and in the basement. You can’t beat the deals especially with 20% to 25% off coupons. Cheap place for tools. Have to be careful how cheap. Some Chinese junk. Some good stuff. Predator 6.5 hp engine $115. Good engine!

We have gone to this store several time in last 3 weeks to purchase tools and everytime we take the item to check out they tell us thats not the one on sale.even though it is the ones sitting on the shelf with the tag.also they never go back and check they just tell us thats not the one. So I guess we will start shopping somewhere else even though we have gift cards from them

I freaking love harbor freight. Great deals on all kinds of tools. I bought dremel attachments that work great. I also always buy my nitrile gloves from here. They always have coupons and great deals on almost everything in this store. Im so glad they opened a location in owosso

Glad to see there is a Harbor Freight now in Owosso! We have them here in El Paso, TX but occasionally I travel to Michigan to visit my elderly parents. There is always something to fix or work on when I get there & sometimes need tools that they dont own so usually get what I need there at Home Depot (also glad they are there too). Hate to buy stuff like a name brand chain saw & have to leave it behind because I cant pack on the return flight. Most of what I buy here at Harbor Freight are pretty good tools.

Bought an electric belt sander just started using it and the motor quit. Took it back. They refused to do anything about it because I didnt have a receipt because it was emailed to me and I erased my emails. They said they didnt have anyway to look It up. Ill never go back.
