So many times, I saw a life music band there. It is an actual hippy Bay Area place. Everyone is welcome, and no money and differences between us human beings are expected. You might see the ocean. After meet that place a move in SF 4 years ago. Gorgeous State and maybe not fancy but still the best dealing cafe in my life.
I havent been inside but drove by to hear live.music and then kept returning just for the music :D. Id park nearby or stand outside. I really enjoyed myself as the musicians and music seem to be baby boomers and Im 54. Hippy vibe too. Its a bit of sunshine in an otherwise chilly and foggy Pacifica. They get sun there but less often not. Ill venture inside and try out their drinks or food one day. Oh and next time Ill be sure and tip the musicians. The 3x Id been so far. Theyre really good 👍
Great Lattes. Great Pastrami Sandwich (THEY USE GRAIN MUSTARD!!), Great Views of thr coast, friendly staff and a great little bit of live music from a small band of 3 sweet older men. Picked this place randomly. What a great little gem.
This place is exquisite! Amazing service great bakery items and delicious hot chocolate. My wife and I came here every morning we were in Pacifica for our honeymoon. I cant recommend it enough.
Maybe because the ocean mist is awesome as an appetizer 😊 and the sound of the waves crashing bring me peace.. Everything was great 🤗
What a gem. Small town coffee shops are hard to find these day and I found one that offers a wide variety of baked goods and wonderful coffee drinks. The amazing lady Christina is beyond fantastic and created my sandwich perfectly. I recommend to anyone visiting the area to stop by one of two locations. They also have live bands and local artists.
This is the spot to go to friendly workers locally owned been around since forever cool place to go and chill if you have nowhere to go need to get out the cold or if you just want to listen to some music or whatever it is it have going on it’s chill there. The bagels smack. It gets the cosmos stamp of approval.
Pacifica is the place my mom loves the most. I took her while the waves were so high.We have never eaten at this cafe. It is a small cafe off the road before going out to the pier. They sell food...coffee...bagels and bagel sandwiches...soup...clam chowder and snacks like chips and candy. My mom and I shared a pulled pork sandwich and a bowl of clam chowder. The food was just ok. The bread roll was crispy how I love it...but the meat was nothing to brag about. The clam chowder was for sure watered down. I make clam chowder a lot and this tasted like Campbells in a can. There certainly was not much clam flavor nor chunks of clam. The staff was so friendly and helpful...wonderful people. There is a sign that they have great coffee...but I never tried that. I brought water. They have seats inside the restaurant to sit and watch the waves. The other food could be good...I cannot say...I just was not like wow...I would love to eat here again. If you are at the pier at Pacifica looking for some coffee...hot chocolate or a snack this place might be for you.
Cute little cafe, we discovered ocean views inside and outside. Coffee latte are pretty decently price and tasty. Offers pastry and sandwiches too. Could use some housekeeping inside, as I noticed spider webs and dust bunnies...but seem the locals come here often. We walked from the local RV PARK down the street twice for Coffee and pastries.
Beautiful location, great food and coffee. I was lucky to visit during a like jazz performance and it was incredibly relaxing
It seems like a good place to relax while on a walk, coffee, tea, snacks and desserts.
This place is amazing. Great views to grab a croissant and a tea and enjoy! Everyone on staff is super friendly and helpful.
Straight up watched a whale mince about the bay as I waited for my jalapeno bagel with bacon egg and pepper jack its like being punched in the face by a pepper that leaves you with a smile. Ask for Ryan shes a Gem.
Jus need 2 clarify that WE, Our Familias were actually across the street A Celebration of Life where the opening 2 the mountain views facing the beautiful scenery of the Ocean on Esplanade & Manor Dr! This day was SOO unique that every, esp the elders said they have never seen anything like this weather before in theyre lifes AMEN!!!
Beautiful Coastal Cafe in Pacifica. Located directly across the Pacific Ocean. Grab your coffee and walk across the street for an amazing view.
This local cafe across the street from the pacific ocean and other shops in the Manor district of Pacifica is a great spot for coffee smoothies and food. I usually get iced coffee. There are tables outside and some great walks nearby. The staff are friendly and the prices fair.
Christina is THE BEST!!! As I have been working in the area for the better part of a year, Chit Chat has become my go-to coffee spot. I usually get the same drink; ice coffee. Since I am usually in a hurry because I am trying to get a coffee during my 10 minute break, time is everything. Today, I walked in to pleasantly find out that an ice coffee was already there waiting for me; Christina saw me walking up. Great service and FAST! Best view and beans that’ll blow you away. If you’re in Pacifica near Manor, and you love coffee as much as I do, then Chit Chat is THE place!
I have been going to this place for years! The best people.. so nice and good food..and the owners are super nice...Thank Chit Chat😁
Today was my first time in as I had a business meeting scheduled here by my colleague who lives nearby. The barista was very friendly and she had a very warm, outgoing personality. The sandwich I had was very good and very reasonably priced. The location is great with an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean and street parking is plentiful. To round it off, the restroom was easily accessible and clean. All my boxes got checked off... I look forward to returning someday.
The BEST Maccha Latte ALWAYS
😍 super cool
Their coffee is so water down...I dont know what else to say I also bought a bagel! Bagel was I on point! Only reason I went was coffee, as a super last resort maybe! Most likely not but since its right next to the playa! Is an easy trap, but about 3 blocks down there is an actual Starbucks! Or there is another Starbucks around the block in the Safeway store!
Great cafe latte.
Great neighborhood cafe. Consistently excellent service, live music on the weekends, and a wide variety of drinks – coffee, tea, and including beer and a very affordably-priced mimosa Sunday special with $4 mimosas. Sandwiches are fantastic as well – I highly recommend the focaccia sandwiches. All are very good.Last but not least, this cozy spot is right next to a big parking lot without a time limit, and the cafe has a beautiful view of the ocean on most days (depends on the fog, of course). Whenever my friends visit me, I recommend that we meet here, and all comment on the mixture of great drinks, food, service, and overall atmosphere. Recommended!
I love coming here to work on stuff, chat with friends and of course drink iced latte and eat the sandwiches. I discovered the place ages ago because it had a great view of the ocean cliff and the sunset when the weather is nice. They also host live music on some evenings.
Coffee better than Starbucks
They have an excellent service. Baristas were friendly and surely loved their job. Good coffee too I like it.
Great place with a lovely sea view. I ran into a live band performing really sweet country songs. Much more than expected
The barista was so friendly and kind. It makes you appreciate the coziness and warmth of the cafe. Oh and what could beat sipping on your drink while looking out at the ocean?
Pretty chill location, the baristas were super hip and fast w my latte. Nice spot to read, play a game of Chess, your hang out with your pals! 😎☕🥧
A nice little cafe. Good place if youre looking for a calming spot to grab a coffee and croussaint/bagel while overlooking the ocean.
Live music. Great band! Great coffee! Wonderful staff! We were strangers who had never been to the cafe before, and by the time we left, it was if if we knew everyone and had spent the evening with old friends. We even had a chance to dance. A wholly unexpected treat. I cant wait to go back in the morning to from more of a delicious coffee, the treats and the great service.
Good band today. Bit nippy.
We often meet here as part of a citizen volunteer group and it is a very comfortable atmosphere. People working, laptops open or just people chatting over a cup of tea or coffee. Much quieter and more relaxed than the Green Giant. The drinks are great and they even serve beer. The staff is very friendly and the sunsets are amazing.
Loved their bagels and specially their coffee. Staffs were always kind and their recommendations were great. Good music to and the ambiance was relaxing.
The staff are friendly and the prices fair.
A charming Cafe where you can sit and watch the sun set.
This place has been a local fixture for a long time. The view is great. The staff are laid back and friendly, the menu is diverse, their Internet is good. The place is usually packed on Sundays when they have live music, and it gets a bit rowdy, so be aware.
Nice place to go to when you get sick of the City. Cool staff. Nice location. Good views.
Thank you Chit Chat Cafe for keeping the music going! Dancing in the streets has never been more fun!
Great family-owned business that wont bankrupt your wallet for a delicious cup of coffee. Excellent location, right near the beach. Friendly staff and great place to meet a friend or colleague for coffee.
Best features of Chit-Chat are the view through their all-windowed dining area, their comfortable seating, and the fact that its never been too busy when Ive gone to eat there. I wish they had egg bagels among their bagel options but its hard to find that outside of dedicated bagel shops. Sometimes it gets drafty inside but thqt isnt a bad thing on the occasional warm day in Pacifica. Staff there is lovely and the coffee and lite bites are great, definitely will keep visiting.
Nice views. Good coffee. Decent simple food.
Nice atmosphere
Great place, great service, great coffee, great food. Support your local businesses!
Great sandwiches and you can dine out!
Stopped here on our way to Muir Woods. Very friendly staff and great food, reasonably priced. Our group ordered the chicken sandwich and pulled pork sandwich, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Best part about the cafe was sitting next to the windows and watching whales! I had read on other reviews that this was possible but thought people must have binoculars or something, but no, we were able to see them while eating, it was amazing. After lunch we went across the street to the ocean overlook and were able to see several more whales. It was awesome and we will definitely stopped by next time we are in the area.
Good food, good prices, no ambiance.
Love this local cafe!!! Good music on Sundays, friendly staff and the view!
Always good people and food.
I was starving and had to get to the airport quickly. My boyfriend suggested this place. I called ahead and they had the best turkey bagel sandwich I have ever had ready and hot!I don’t live near Pacifica, but I’ll definitely go back when I find myself in the neighborhood.
Best local cafe filled with music every Friday and a lot of heart, one of Pacificas gems
Friendly staff and nice location. The only thing between it and 5 star for me is the oily window. If they spent a bit effort on cleaning the window more frequently, itd be on some crazy magazine of must stop on highway 1 or something. Not sure if this is what owner wanted though. :)
Bring your laptop and chill next to the window and even listen to live music while you complete your business. The staff is lovely and very kind! Get your Mocha or your Earl Grey Tea and enjoy an hour or two at the Chit-Chat Cafe
Super cute cafe. Good food and the short time we were in Pacifica/SF area this was the best coffee Ive had. The girls there were really sweet as well.
Great place if you need to get some work done. I ordered a sandwich and it was good. I just wished that the girl behind the counter would not change the music every 2 minutes. Love the fact that it is open late, great place for locals to meet.
A nice place right on the ocean. Lots of great food and drink, and lots of great music. The owners support local music. A great place to spend an evening!
Brand muffin and cappucchino were great. The gentlemen taking our order was a little gruff. But would definately go again
Amazing views. Ok tea and coffee. Live music in the evenings on weekends. Service can range from good to bad. I love the view here. Its a great place to study and work.
Great sunset views but the real reason to come here is for the local musicians. Sit back, have a coffee and snack and enjoy the high caliber of musicians who come here to play on the weekends.
Great coffee next to the nice sea view
Nice cafe with good view of the ocean. Theyve got good service here.
Great location pathetic baristas. Least bothered with customer instead too busy amongst themselves
Good food good price. Will always return. I love supporting this local coffee shop. Places like this is what makes Pacifica unique. Has that small town feel...The bagel and loks are delicious.
Good coffee, a variety of tasty snacks and sandwiches, with jazz on the weekends and some week nights. All in a Bohemian type cafe right on the ocean. Whats not to like?
Cute little place with delicious baked goods! It would be nice if the windows were clean to really take Im the view.
Nice little beach cafe with comfortable chairs and a place where you can hop online or just sit and read. The coffee is good with $1 refills and simple food choices such muffins, crossants, sandwhiches and bagels - they do a good lox bagel. They have some pretty fun local music (30+ age range) on the weekends, but get there early because the place feels up to maximum capacity. The view is the best part.
A very cozy place with good food and drink options. Theres a decent view of the ocean, and its a nice calm and quiet place to relax, grab a drink and snack, and work on your laptop. Occasionally hosts performances by local musicians.
Good local spot to have a cup of coffee and listen to live music, work on your laptop, read a book, or just relax. One of my favorite spots, but I cant give it 5 starts for two reasons.1. My daughter has described the service here to be rude, and my husband has complained that they are too slow. I personally have found the service to be mixed. Most of the time the baristas are friendly, but there have been times they do seem a bit pre-occupied and indifferent and they take their time before acknowledging they have a customer waiting.2. I once tried to order a sandwich with gluten free bread. When I picked up the sandwich, it appeared to be made with marble rye, which is not gluten free. I asked if the bread was actually gluten free, and was told no, that the person making the sandwich didnt know it was supposed to be gluten free, and they asked if they could just replace the bread instead of remaking the sandwich. After that encounter I decided to stick with just ordering coffee.
Nice quiet place to stop for coffee and watch the ocean.
The ladies that work there are all so genuinely nice! Its a cozy spot directly across the street from the beach! Its a little pricey for a hole in wall on the corner 😄😃🤣
Never disappoints, always a fun crowd whether daytime or during a music event, good dependable eats and drinks, reasonable prices. Oh, and the view. Please never change, chit chat!
A really charming coastside coffee shop with live
Great service...vey
This is a good place for some quick food. Vegan options are available prices are competitive and the service is good.
I love the live music they have here. The coffee and sandwiches are pretty standard but the music along with the view makes it pretty worthwhile
Fresh made drinks. Nice view. Baked goods were not very good. We had hot breakfast, and it was good.
Great view and decent atmosphere inside. Their coffee and pastries are affordable. Pretty good cafe
Great band playing on 4th Saturday night of the month. Friendly staff and good drink and food selection.
Laid back coffee shop. Great view of the Pacific. Real nice proprietors.
The View is wonderful as you look out on the beach/Ocean in Pacifica. Very easy to get to. Nice service. Did not care for the sandwich I had made on focaccia was messy and soggy. They had a good selection of coffee and pastries
Oh what a view in the morning!
Homey little cafe with an amazing view. Why would anyone sit in Starbucks with this place around???Wi-fi works great. Food and coffee is pretty good. People are nice. Chairs arent all that comfortable and everything seems a little dingy/dusty, which is why I dont give it five stars, but I still recommend it to friends.
Great customer service good food little pricey
Gets crowded but the coffee is good and the sandwiches are too only problem is the 5$ Debit/credit card limit .. forcing you to buy a coffee and food. Girls working there are nice and extremely pretty
